I did the math for how much she was paying for each glitter. She had 3 rows of 8 which 8x3= 24 so 24 divided by 180 is 7.5. She spent about $7.50 for each thing of glitter. (Edit) Sry made an error in the way I typed but you get my point
That pallet may be alot but it's worth it for how durable/cute that packaging is also like jocie mentioned it has mettalic and iridescent shades and quick dry long lasting and the color range and quality of the product also for how much product u get
@@kayacreates949And the Designer Dust Co one is fragrance-free, too. Fragrance doesn't usually bother me, but it can make my eyes sting and rarely cause burning on my eyelids, so I definitely don't want a glitter pallette that I can't use around my eye area
That‘d be $7,50 for one of those glitters. Seems reasonable especially because it‘s high quality and a lot. :) I‘ve seen single matte brown eyeshadows who go for more. But yes it is definitely a lot of money
@@NotOvnic i mean everything else but the packaging seems to be good. but yeah i agree with you. i just feel like the packaging shouldnt look like it feels cheap, but idk if it’s actually cheap plastic. just looks like it lol
Y’all, if you’re looking for ethical cosmetic glitter that’s also miles cheaper, there are people in the comments telling you where you’d find some. Apparently slayfire has recently come under fire for making racist comments and for claiming her glitter is biodegradable when it’s not (the reason she prices her glitter so high btw). When she was called out for it, instead of taking accountability like you would if it was an honest accident, she claimed her vendors lied even though the vendors never said the glitter was biodegradable. So that, plus the overpriced glitter is just senseless. Save your money.
Dude, to have the primary variable for unreasonably high pricing on a product be busted is so disappointing, along with blame shifting. It’s always about the reaction to the accusation, always.
She posted screenshots of the vendors admitting that they worded it in a way that led slayfire to believe that all their glitters were biodegradable...

I bought their chonky glitter (i paid like $12) 2 years ago, still using it, a little goes a long way, there really is no other glitter like it that I've found. That being said the cost is pretty ridiculous. In order to keep mine fresh i mix it with a little vaseline, mixing 4 different glitters with whatever gel base they use, is not hard. "Muh small business" does not justify the $180 price.
It does when you think about the fact that when you are dealing with a small business they are selling the products they made. So you are paying for time and product. Versus going to a major retailer that’s reselling big companies multiple million dollar network products with fleets of employees.

I’m watching this three months later and tbh I think it’d be worth it since they last all day PLUS that’s enough glitter to last me my whole life and time in heaven 😂
Something that I love in your videos and that I didn't stop noticing here are the makeup you do, which are natural but have shine, they give your face that shiny touch 😻
To all who want this but cannot afford it, I have made a similar palette out of an old box for beads/rhinestones and glitters from ali express. Those glitters can be so cheap and you can find it in so many shapes and sizes. I just mixed it with some gel face primer and a bit of non-toxic glue or unscented hair gel and it really does last all day. i wouldn't recommend it on the eyes tho, but seriously, even this palette she uses has chunky glitters in it and wouldn't be good for the eyes either. You'd pay a max of 20-30$ with the ingredients I just mentioned!
