i have this exact paper... i tried to apply it by using golden gel medium which i had tinted vintage duck egg.... :-( i must have applied WAY TOO MUCH gel and then ran my fingers over the paper to smooth it down and the gel/paint came right up through the paper.
GOOD NEWS, you can rinse the paper clean :-)

It is a porous material, you are right, very little medium does the trick

Hope I’m not too late for a question. I’m no stranger to decoupage. I bought the Prima Copper Patina that I will be applying to a dresser top/turned bathroom vanity. What are my best options to adhere this to the top. I know since it’s a bathroom vanity that I should finish with Gator Hide because of the water. Any help would be appreciated

How do you determine what color the furniture should be under the deco print
How well does this work into molding grooves? My dresser has a lot of molding and I'm not sure how to work around this. I'm thinking maybe fabric as another option 🤔

It depends on how translucent the paper is, but most do better over a painted background

It will reactivate when you add a clear coat and cause bubbling. I use clear coat or wallpaper paste as my adhesive
Hi Brandy. do you have to sand the top coats for smooth finish like on other pieces?
I usually lightly sand except the final coat

This is not TISSUE paper..... it is a print on interfacing.
Is your paint on your dresser sealed prior to decoupaging or do you seal it all after?
Could be done either way

They are all right side up on the final piece. Everything is reversed in selfie mode
