Yet another fantastic video many thanks , as for plans this year I've just completed a two day camp in the British lake district which is were I do most of my wild camps, this month I'm meeting up with my son and some of his military friends in Wales to tackle mount Snowdon via Crib Goch one of the notorious ridgelines in the UK , and then off up into Scotland to summit ben Nevis. I'll be using some of your recipes on my 27 along the way 👍👍.
Blimey that looked good. Thanks 😊 . My planns involve loading up my bike and going where the road takes me. The camping and cooking on my trangia 27 are big passions of mine. I find cycling a nice pace to experience the countryside and I can go as far as I want each day with no schedule 😊
That sounds lovely Robert. I like cykling myself but haven't used it as my 'camping transportation' yet, but I would like to explore the potential of it in the future. Cheers!
Dat Trangia dragon got ya bro lol I plan on getting to my outdoor cook gear which I have a lot to catch up on testing I will tag you on IG when I do my man. Another lovely meal you cooked up, cheers!
Another great meal, thank you! My summer plans will be camping in my van on the east coast of USA: Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont and New York. I'll definitely be using my Trangia and trying some of your recipes. Your summer trip sounds wonderful!
Excellent. I enjoy this type of video. Doing a dish in the outdoors with minimal gear. Tonight I was practicing a lasagna on a firebox stove which I hope to do when I’m taking a member of the family out for a camp during the next few weeks. I don’t camp so much in summertime as it’s midge time. Early spring, autumn and winter. Summer this year will be exploring a couple of new forests for campsites. Have a good hike on the Camino
👍 .. I 'practice' beforehand, all of my recipes (and home-made / newly-purchased cook gear) on my 3rd floor flat balcony .. only then, does it venture out to be 'used in anger' 😊. Midges 🙄 .. not too much a problem here in Switzerland .. nothing 'anti-bug muti' cannot remedy. Our problem are TICKS 😳 .. another story ..
Ouch, the sticks were burning😢. I added some titanium tweezers to my cooking tools. An Idea I got from a well known German UA-camr (Carlos). He even uses the tweezers to eat with. This looked very convenient and after I tried this, I have to recommend it for outdoor cooking (and eating).😅 Your food looks mouthwatering and surely tasted delicious.
Thank you Eckart! I'm glad you enjoyed the food. A set of metal tweezers would've been convinient, but in all honesty, if I thought through what I was doing I could have avoided the debacle by soaking the chopsticks in water prior to cooking. (20/20 hindsight) When I use chopsticks as a cooking tool at home it's not over an open flame, that's the only excuse I have even if it's a poor one. Cheers!
The food looks good =) I live i Sweden aswell. I love how the spring have been slow and cold here on Kinnekulle. It gives you more time to enjoy spring. Like you did in the start of the video. For my own adventures this year, I hope I'll get my boat ready soon for the summer. So I can go fishing, sailing, maybe do some wandering and camping. I hope I'll be more outdoors then last year. Thank you for sharing !
That sounds terrific Erik. I guess you will sail on Vänern then, that gives loads of options. Cheers!

Looks absolutely delicious. Nicely done. Cool, calm & collected. As for my own plans, I'm gonna do packrafting. Stay a night or two on my trips and so on.
Thanks Kimmo! Packrafting looks really fun, how is it compared to a kayak to paddle? Cheers!

@@RedswedeOutdoors I’d say it’s more laidback. Light to carry and operate. So far I have liked it a lot. Excellent way to go camping and enjoy the nature.
👍👍👍 Good Evening Red .. That looks yummy. I'll definitely have to give it a go 😊. Chicken for me, on it's own, does not have much 'flavour' .. it's what one adds to it .. seasoning / sauces / etc, that makes it what it is. 'Chilli'. Always good choice .. if only just to wake up the taste buds 😏. Spring. Taking it's time in getting here in our Northern Switzerland neck of the woods. Pollen and such .. not an issue now. Back in the late 60's, at my girlfriend's house, there was some vegetation (possibly a tree or something that) that in Spring 😩😤😭. Fortunately, her Mom worked at a Pharmacy, so I had a good supply of Anti-histamines 😊. Your first overnighter .. am looking forward to watching it. The Pilgrimage .. good luck with the preparation ..and yes, there is a time for 'own time' .. time to 'mull' and mulling is good 😊. My plans for the new Warm Season? As always, to get out more .. it is never enough 😏. Unfortunately, Spring Fever comes tempered by Ticks! 😫 . Our region is infested with them and with approximated 50% estimated to be infected with Lyme Disease 😳 .. not good. One has to always be aware. I've had the Lyme Inoculation, but even then, any outing results in a post-event inspection for (and removal of) the little critters from oneself and the Pooch 🙄. Thanks for the Share, my Friend, and until next time .. take care .. Tommy
The meal looked dang good. I think I'll have to try it myself. I'm just going to continue doing what I do...overland, hike, camp, cook. May not do too much of that, though, because my daughter and I are working on buying a house in the Appalachian Mountains of Eastern Kentucky, so we may spend the summer moving from Arkansas...and I HATE moving 😂 Cheers, Red!
I'm totally with you on the moving, Chad, not something I do for fun. I don't know how the Appalachian mountains compare to Arkansas but I imagine that it could have some spectacular outdoor opportunities..? Good luck with the house hunting my friend.
@@RedswedeOutdoors oh the Appalachian Mountains are far superior to the Ozarks. Ozarks are great for exploring and camping, don't get me wrong, but the Appalachians span so much further, higher, and will be all new for me to explore. There's tons of history there, and the house we're trying to buy is in a small mountain town, and is actually on a bunch of land up one of the mountainsides. It's gorgeous. There's a large river that cuts right thru town with tons of hiking trails. Plus it's closer to my daughter's mom than we are now (like 8 hours closer), so hopefully she'll get to see her more.
Ja visst är det så Carina. Min hjärna har tydligen bestämt sig för att jag aldrig ska komma ihåg det namnet när jag talar, hjärnsläpp varje gång. Ha det fint!

Thank you. I didn't get to see the east coast on our road trip but from what I heard it's beautiful. Hope you get a good time. Cheers!
That little blue bag of yours. It’s like a magicians hat. You just kept pulling things out of it. Lmao!
Lol Travis, that would be handy. Just pull out what you need instead of carrying it all the way. Cheers!

Thank you Paul. Lasagna on a Firebox sounds like a challenge worth looking in to. Hope you get a short midge season this year. Cheers!

Not any big plans probably visit Norway on bike 😊
