Why does it always sound like a jungle at Nintendo NY? No matter the announcement, you'll always hear someone screaming and screeching like a banshee. I'm excited for Endless Ocean Luminous too, don't get me wrong. I loved the first one, and I'm playing through the second as we speak. But my good, chill.

It's only a second-party game, I guess. For a second, I thought the final reveal on this direct was an action-oriented platformer centered on Geno (from Mario RPG).
Isn't Subnautica a better ocean exploration game?

@@RayTheSnivy Pointless argument, older doesn't mean better, also I heard a lot more praise for Subnautica and its sequel than Endless Ocean, that frankly I heard basically nothing.

Completely different experiences. Beyond the ocean and diving setting, they are nothing alike. One is arguably a survival horror adventure game, while the other is a diving simulator. That's like comparing a Cabela's Hunter title to a Resident Evil; because they both involve shooting animals.
How embarassing. If you are the only person screaming in the crowd, while others are just meh, its proof that you have very poor taste in games. 🙂
Don't talk about what you don't know. The original games were great, and in fact Nintendo listed it as the flagship title of the Direct.
