    (Lyrics)
I didnt know what day it was that day,
Felt just like falling down on my knees to pray.
Looked at myself, and all that I could say
Was,i think I see the errors of my way.
There in the glass there was something caught my eye,
Although I try through my sighing not to cry.
See where I am, and what I try to say,
Just so Ill look at the errors of my way.
Guess I got no one around to pull me through.
I just need someone to turn to, yes, I do.
Doin my best just to change my yesterday,
Then I wont have no more errors of my way.

Fantasic Wishbone Ash . Together with ARGUS these must be two of the greatest rock albums ever , still playing them 41 years on ! Thats why i called my son EDWARD MARTIN . Wishbone Ash will live forever .

15 when I bought this album, now 56 still listening to Ash. Has there ever been a better debut album? Superb live band too. A few bands used twin leads at the time no band ever like Wishbone. True rock legends and always so underrated

Superb harmonising guitars, as was their trademark. Influenced a lot of people.

oh the peace this music that Wishbone Ash made brings me. Stumbled upon them about a decade and half ago. it blew the hark rock, metal, alternate, indie, everything out of the water. haunting vocals and the most meaningful searing guitars ever...bless you

Never too late Pulak good for you ., I was blessed to see them many times live in the 70s & 80s , consistently brilliant performances & always at least 2 hours or more , Copied & imitated by so many but few if any have ever bettered them.

oh wow! I'd forgotten just how marvellous this is! Saw them at least 3x in early 70s - always fantastic!!

Just checking. Yup. It still hits me right in the mental sweet spot! Flawless work from the pioneers of twin lead guitars.

Brilliant though WA were, Martin Turner openly admits the idea of two lead guitars was something he picked up from Duane and Dickie in The Allman Brothers Band.

This is fantastic. I still cannot believe just how good this group is. I've known about them for many years; saw them on TV once or twice;I then stumbled across them two weeks ago, and now I can't stop listening to them. They are fucking brilliant.

Yes, their use of twin leads was first class and Argus is an all time classic.
Thin Lizzy, with Robbo and Gorham would have to rank right up there too.

When Ted Turner left the band I doubted they could replace someone as good as him, but they did Laurie Wisefield was just as good. They were brilliant live in the seventies and their 70's albums were all great. I know they're still going but its not the same unfortunately.

Has there ever been a better debut album than this? Ash deserve to be legends, no band perfected the use of twin leads, both live and on disc, than Ash. Just compare this to the rubbish that is churned out today

copied is a strong word. inspiration is most likely what you're looking for ,unless you have something against them
