(Lyrics)
I didnt know what day it was that day,
Felt just like falling down on my knees to pray.
Looked at myself, and all that I could say
Was,i think I see the errors of my way.
There in the glass there was something caught my eye,
Although I try through my sighing not to cry.
See where I am, and what I try to say,
Just so Ill look at the errors of my way.
Guess I got no one around to pull me through.
I just need someone to turn to, yes, I do.
Doin my best just to change my yesterday,
Then I wont have no more errors of my way.
Fantasic Wishbone Ash . Together with ARGUS these must be two of the greatest rock albums ever , still playing them 41 years on ! Thats why i called my son EDWARD MARTIN . Wishbone Ash will live forever .
15 when I bought this album, now 56 still listening to Ash. Has there ever been a better debut album? Superb live band too. A few bands used twin leads at the time no band ever like Wishbone. True rock legends and always so underrated
Brings back a thousand great memories. A unique and amazing band.
Superb harmonising guitars, as was their trademark. Influenced a lot of people.
oh the peace this music that Wishbone Ash made brings me. Stumbled upon them about a decade and half ago. it blew the hark rock, metal, alternate, indie, everything out of the water. haunting vocals and the most meaningful searing guitars ever...bless you
Never too late Pulak good for you ., I was blessed to see them many times live in the 70s & 80s , consistently brilliant performances & always at least 2 hours or more , Copied & imitated by so many but few if any have ever bettered them.
oh wow! I'd forgotten just how marvellous this is! Saw them at least 3x in early 70s - always fantastic!!
Just checking. Yup. It still hits me right in the mental sweet spot! Flawless work from the pioneers of twin lead guitars.
Brilliant though WA were, Martin Turner openly admits the idea of two lead guitars was something he picked up from Duane and Dickie in The Allman Brothers Band.
This is fantastic. I still cannot believe just how good this group is. I've known about them for many years; saw them on TV once or twice;I then stumbled across them two weeks ago, and now I can't stop listening to them. They are fucking brilliant.
Always great to listen to , from the first album and original line-up . Wishbone Ash forever ! Remember seeing them twice in 1970 at The Town Hall Birmingham .
Offenburg, Germany 1976: my first Open Air Festival at the age of 16: Alvin Lee,War,Man,Procul Harum, Wishbone Ash(played the whole Argus Album) and a black guy with strange hair, a female choir and an Ethiopian flag: Bob Marley (first gig on the continent)
Just forgot this song for about 40 years, thanks for posting

Słucham ich od 30 lat i jeszcze mi się nie znudzili ... , a ten kawałek - świetny!
that solo just kickass
Fenomenalna pjesma puna emocija, najnepoznatije velike engleske grupe.
This is music !!!
errors of my way
i love this song
ecxelent!!!!
coooooooooooooooooooool band- song great vibe!!
pride of progressive rock
Yes, their use of twin leads was first class and Argus is an all time classic.
Thin Lizzy, with Robbo and Gorham would have to rank right up there too.
My favorite song of all time
Mine too
Probably the best song on the first album
no dislikes? well that tells how awsome this fkn music is!
oh gord , 1970 something I had a triumph TR3a and was in love with Janette Watts,,, shit wish I was 20 something again ...... life just goes so quick bolocks
I know exactly what you mean there ... Join the club, c. Stay free. R 😎
iiiiijjjjjaaaaoooo ma to ti pričam....ne može bolje!!!
@bothrops9 one of the best band ever
@zirossi So did lynyrd skynyrd, Andy said in a liner note one time, that freebird is a complete rip of Phoenix =)
And errors are beautiful sometimes
Fucking delish.
What an underated album, eh?
@ruevo1 . . . mir auch! AUSGE-KLASS-nett!
@michaelschenker1955 yes I still have this on an LP
@ASsalihovic napokon netko iz naših krajeva da sluša ovu odličnu grupu
When Ted Turner left the band I doubted they could replace someone as good as him, but they did Laurie Wisefield was just as good. They were brilliant live in the seventies and their 70's albums were all great. I know they're still going but its not the same unfortunately.
Peter Williams
Their still trooping but yet to see the errors of their way lol Awesome live Band seen them 3 times
1981 ... koniec studiów, Janusz Basałaj ... pamiętasz ...?.
scott the engineer brought me here
Has there ever been a better debut album than this? Ash deserve to be legends, no band perfected the use of twin leads, both live and on disc, than Ash. Just compare this to the rubbish that is churned out today
Does anyone know who does the singing on this? It sounds like Andy Powell double tracked maybe..?
I would guess Martin and Andy harmonizing
nA UND?
@rezervoardogs Vrh!!!
version 1972 please!!!!
Where can one find the 1972 version of this song? I only know this one.
Thin lizzy saw these in 1970 they copied them, first twin lead guitar band.
copied them, but much, much better
copied is a strong word. inspiration is most likely what you're looking for ,unless you have something against them
