when i open youtube and the mouse hoovers over any video this plays automatically without clicking, this didnt work.
i think your problem is with youtube, not brave so to turn this off, click your profile picture in the top right, click "settings", click "playback and performance" and turn off "video previews", i hope this helps

@@CinnamonTutorials The options that you talked about doen't exists anymore. Almost in my current Brave version v 1.66.115
Additional permissions was removed
I'm running the latest version and it still seems to be there for me, it is quite hard to miss, if you still can't find it, autoplay should be on this url: brave://settings/content/autoplay
