Because u talked about maqam in one of your videos and there is literally no evidence of something like that from our Prophet pbuh. And I dont wanna gain knowledge from someone who is following a sect and not just quran and sunnah. Who are you and who is your teacher and why do you not give evidence in a lot of videos?

Why is praying salah in English wrong? there are some parts that are too difficult too memorize in Arabic, so instead I do one part in English right after the opening. This is suppose to be a personal choice which dua you want to make. I believe Allah s.w.t. ❤ won’t reject salah based on effort. Jazak Allah khair.

    • @noobfart
      @noobfart 4 місяці тому +32

@@DinsFlame-br4pr nope. you get personal choices of which dua you can make when the dua youre making is added from you, and youre not changing a central part of salah. its true that you arent meant to be stiff during salah, but you arent meant to be wrong either. especially when youre just denying education.
if it is too hard for you though, its not allowed, so please memorize it as soon as possible.
you can also read off a book you wrote. get a bookstand.

There’s actually more to that story brother…… the man who helped that murderer turn to Islam told him to go seek knowledge from somebody who is a greater worshiper than him, and on his way to seek knowledge that murderer died, so then the angels of Mercy and the Angels of punishment came down and they were fighting over whether to take his soul to heaven or hell, Allah (swt) ordered the angels that if this man was closer to his destination to seek out knowledge about God he would go to heaven, and if not, he would go to hell, and he was actually closer to his starting point, so Allah (swt) being the most merciful and in control of all things order the dimensions of the earth to literally change so the man would be closer to his destination and go to heaven. Yeah I agree the dawah needs to still be given. What would be best though is someone like the Muslim Lantern or experienced helps explain things rather than a comment section. I read in a comment that she rejects the hadith and is praying salah in English. Salah needs to be prayed in Arabic but she can say dua in sujood in a way she understands the words. The problem is, when things are public, they also have to be dealt with publicly. For example, we shouldn't encourage her to pray her salah in English because salah is prayed in Arabic, so people have to warn her. If she is coming from a distrusting Christian background of priests/scholars, it would make sense why restricting her to recite the surah Fatiha (a personal dua with Allah) and stuff can be an emotional challenge for her (the rabbis used to keep scripture to themselves and the Church historically held control of an illiterate society in the middle ages). If anyone has a way to reach her, we should recommend The Muslim Lantern.

I found my way back to Islam now alhamdulillah, learning philosophy, the academic kind really helped me, also reconciling evolution with Islam like Adamaic Exceptionalism model and also realising exmuslims are just like salafis, they both have this extreme version of Islam when in reality it's not like that, also delving into secular scholarship on Islam and Quran studies also helped me, as in looking at things from a critical perspective rather than accepting everything at face value, early scholars didn't do that, people like imam Abu haneefa for example... Salafis/extremists make religion way too hard for people that it ends up being nonsensical, for example calling everything shirk when even Allah didn't do that in the Quran, they say they're following the ways of salafs but they're just Saudi puppets lol, Islamophobs latch onto that and think that's Islam.. In reality, Islam isn't like that, religion is not supposed to be so difficult, Allah is forgiving too and Islam allows for critical thinking unlike what these people claim, philosophy is okay, it can help you see the rationale and logic behind religion too... Yes but you as a Muslim you have to be kind and patient towards especially new reverts instead of telling them everything they are doing is haram, let them learn steadily and increasingly, no one can be perfect from day one. This is one of the problems. I remember some hadith about the prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was more patient with new reverts and he said that the faith hasn't fully settled in their hearts, so he was patient with them etc.... I don't remember the exact hadith number but if you ask i will look it up and confirm it.
Yes it OK to advise new Muslims to stop all shirks major sins at the start but to quit all minor sins too is literally impossible, secondly when giving advice to new Muslims be known kind about it instead of being judgemental and harsh, this will just push them away as the faith isn't strong in their hearts yet.
Yes it is bad that some left Islam but it is also bad if you are the reason they left, basically the devil's job is to lead people of the truth no matter which way let's make our selves better by helping our brothers and sisters and making things easy for them to stay.

So perhaps they will give good advice but for a beginner to Islam it may be too overwhelming. Please keep in mind that the Holy Quran was revealed for 23 years and that the people also learnt it gradually. So if you want to turn to Allah read the Quran in Your language, find out if there's a mosque, otherwise learn how to pray with interactive prayer mats & online videos. Start with the intention of wanting to get close to Allah and He will help you with the rest inshAllah. Don't forget 🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸

@@Pakistani890 your correct but your summarizing it.
      Here's the detailed version:
The story of 'The man who committed 99 murderers '
There was a man who had committed numerous sins, including murder. He felt remorse for his actions and desired to repent and seek forgiveness from Allah. Seeking guidance, he approached a worshipper and asked if there was any chance for his repentance to be accepted. The worshipper, shocked by the man's sins, replied negatively, saying that there was no way he could be forgiven.
Feeling hopeless, the man became enraged and killed the worshipper as well. Despite this grave sin, his heart still yearned for repentance. He then sought out a scholar and asked the same question about repentance. The scholar, being more knowledgeable, told him that there was always a chance for repentance and forgiveness from Allah.
The scholar advised him to leave his sinful environment and migrate to a distant land where righteous people lived. The man heeded the advice and began his journey. However, before he could reach his destination, death overtook him. The angels of mercy and punishment descended to take his soul, and they disputed over his fate.
Allah, in His infinite wisdom, intervened to resolve the dispute. It was decreed that the man's fate would be determined by his proximity to his intended destination. If he was closer to the city of sin, he would be doomed, but if he was closer to the city of righteousness, he would be forgiven.
Allah caused the earth to shrink, bringing him closer to the city of righteousness, and his soul was taken by the angels of mercy, signifying his forgiveness and acceptance of repentance.

There is a huge, very huge difference!!! And i even say that someone who isnt following only Allah´s words isnt rightguided and is in dalal, even if you say that your greatest scholar of your madhab is knowing more and teaching real Islam but you can bring every sentence and scholar of this world infront of the Quran and they will all loose with their arguments build on many fake hadithes. They will all loose before Allah, His verses and a true believer who can bring them all the arguments of reality itself which are Allah´s verses. Islam of Quran is the only real and true Islam. Anything else is only a misleading of shaitan to something you think that it is Islam but instead it is another system build on many fake hadithes, other cultures influences, hurafaa, shirk, .... may Allah lead you people away from madhabs´systems or parallel religions of sunnism, shiism,... back to real pure Islam of Allah. leave falsehood, false idols (e.g. in form of scholars, doctrines, madhab teachings, hadith books, ..) and dalal and embrace Islam of Quran. may Allah help you see reality

I do not know who this sister is but many communicate online especially, the younger generations because they grew up communicating online. They may not have anyone in their immediate environment to help and guide them. In certain Masjids when you go seeking help, many are not friendly and some gate keep.
Unfortunately as a revert I find the women can be very unwelcoming and cliquey. This is a very uncomfortable feeling when you truly from your heart are looking for a mentor to help learn Qur’an, speak Arabic etc. Even just asking if anyone knows anyone that can help. People do not want to share the knowledge. You tend to feel left out and awkward.
As a American-born to Caribbean parents, I come from a multiracial and multicultural background, bizzaf. So I’m used to being around family and friends from so many parts of the world. This is how I grew up in America and it was a beautiful way to grow up. I find there is bizzaf racism from a lot of the Arabic women(mostly) in the Masjids I have visited. Why so hateful? We are supposed to greet our sisters with peace but they do not greet back. If another Arabic sister comes in they will greet them. This is so hurtful. Then in Ramadan they will ask for donations for sadaqa😢. It’s astonishing. Astaghfirullah not nice at all. It’s surprising and hurtful because I know this is not what Islam teaches. I did not grow up with this type of racism and I was born and raised in the U.S.
Except for one Masjid I visited, uptown in NYC it was mostly Africans from Morocco, Senegal, Gambia. At this one, the women were so welcoming. I felt so emotional because it was a wonderful experience. That day there was a discussion on racism which I thought was very fitting.
Many of us are forced to learn online. I’m a tactile person, I like to read books and NO way do I want to learn everything online.
Racism has no place in Islam. Racism is like a poison and an ignorance due to lack of knowledge, Astaghfirullah.
This is a massive test for many reverts. I still say Alhamdulilah because even through all the difficulties Allah has brought some BEAUTIFUL sisters into my life, even in passing. And my husbands family is AMAZING especially his mother. She is an AMAZING women. So, I take the positive and the negative and make the best of it.
If other Muslim sisters are hurtful towards me; I am told to pray Allah guides them, and to stay far away.
I want to know though; why the scholars are not addressing this issue more? It’s like we are left hanging. The men have soo much support. What about reverts like me that have been married a second time, or even if they are younger reverts but they have been on their own. We can barely find help and guidance. People say,”just go to your local masjid.” We have tried this. No help. It’s like your hitting a brick wall constantly. This is a different time we are living in. We need support too.
As reverts we choose Islam only by Allah’s Will. Our hearts are open and hungry for knowledge. We want to follow Sunnah in cha Allah but much information is hidden. Sometimes we just need someone non judgmental to speak to.🤦🏽‍♀️
My heart is open. I was taught to show compassion and love my fellow humans unless the situation calls for something else.
Also, we are one Ummah Alhamdulilah, Free Palestine🇵🇸, Free Congo🇨🇩, Free Sudan🇸🇩 in cha Allah.

Very true. But do consider that for women, we know that women like to show off a bit more. As such it would be tricky coming to terms with covering such a major source of their beauty, if their Imaan is not completely strong as it would be especially for reverts.
Obviously, there is no denying that she must cover herself, but overcoming a strong personal desire takes strong faith. And strengthening your faith takes time. The same way that overcoming a smoking addiction takes time, you know leaving it is bad but it's really hard to overcome any addiction!
I think of it more as "leave the information on the table for them, and it is their choice what to do with it" rather than "try to stuff the information into their heads".
As an example, I've heard of women who just straight up remove their Hijab when their parents aren't around, just because their parents ordered them to wear it without explaining why. Conversely I've seen women who swear by wearing the Hijab at all costs even when wearing a Hijab is dangerous for them, despite no person asking them to do so.
Different people need different lengths of time in order to truly embrace something as personal as belief in Islam.

on a side note, you become a muslim for yourself not for people, simply leave social media and you cant make the excuse then that people " push you away " from Allah s.w.t, islam is for everybody, not just for people who dont let others " push " them away, sorry but i cant get the idea that someone can make you not muslim, its your fault as well, you should know better, that he/she doesn't speak for islam or muslims, and that you are a grown adult who make his / her own choices, they " push you away " from islam easily but then nobody can push you away from that pepsi or junk food or concert or whatever party / sin you indulge in huh ? so its always easy to be pushed away from truth and good in islam, but hard to get pushed far from sin ??
btw, they know islam is the truth, they simply cant be asked to hear from non knowledgeable people telling them false or extreme things without knowing, so they leave islam ? is it a game ?? Allah s.w.t knows best, idk but wont they be asked by Allah about that choice of leaving islam even though they know its true, just because people " push them away " ? does it sound like a good reason to risk hellfire ? this just proves you weren't serios about islam in the first place, simply one sneezes and you leave, dont be like that, extremists exist in every religion , just know they're not scholars and go take islam knowledge from scholars end of story. but hey, dont become a loose muslim as well, those who openly support lgbt or are okay with free mixing or talent shows or dancing music in public etc etc, those are not " extreme " views those are real haram topics you cant just support, you can co exist but not participate, advice them, not free mix with them etc, you have your deen and they have theirs , so if anyone tells you dancing in public for woman is haram, dont think thats extreme, thats the truth, women have to cover aurah same as men etc, all im saying is keep in mind what's halal and what's haram, dont just live as a new revert musim and still do the same things.
obviously for a new revert muslim, you give them the knowledge needed , they learn about islam, not bombard them with haram this haram that, but yeah let them know the obvious haram things, like drinking , pork, those sexual activities, dancing in public, i mean those kinds of things, so they wont be doing them thinking its halal to do such actions, and give them time to acclimate, how long ? idk , but also make sure they actively seek knowledge, not just say im a revert and they know the basics and live on, they then keep sinning on small things and slowly shaytan takes them away, and as usual they join the group of muslims by name only, so for muslims, dont feel shy or intimidated to not teach new reverts about islam as best as you can and to direct them to scholars etc, you cant just leave them unless they ask for it, then they are free its thier choice .
and Allah s.w.t knows best, im speaking with what i know, and astaghfer Allah s.w.t if i said something incorrect, correct me and ill delete it.

They're westerners. They don't have a Muslim community. Many of them get rejected by their own family for reverting.
They're trying to find support. We should be welcoming and show the beauty of Islam, not act like we're better than them

I think the moral of the story here is ppl should stop judging , we all have our sins. And giving an advice is an art and must be from a kind and humble place not feeling superior
    Remember God's words
    { فَبِمَا رَحۡمَةࣲ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ لِنتَ لَهُمۡۖ وَلَوۡ كُنتَ فَظًّا غَلِیظَ ٱلۡقَلۡبِ لَٱنفَضُّوا۟ مِنۡ حَوۡلِكَۖ فَٱعۡفُ عَنۡهُمۡ وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لَهُمۡ وَشَاوِرۡهُمۡ فِی ٱلۡأَمۡرِۖ فَإِذَا عَزَمۡتَ فَتَوَكَّلۡ عَلَى ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ یُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُتَوَكِّلِینَ }

Born Muslims really do not understand the difficulties that new Reverts experience. There is no real sympathy towards them as they struggle with balancing 'being-Muslim', how their friends/family treat them and the perceptions and misconceptions from increasing toxic work environments.
These three core challenges take their toll on the 'spirit' and well-being of these Blessed Reverts who have chosen Islam as their way-of-life, and finally the "born-Muslim-Community' who are ready to dictate what they MUST do, fault-finding every act/omission, secretly 'back-biting', perhaps hating (for whatever reasons) and simply making life unnecessarily complicated for these Reverts.
The Muslim Community MUST be patient, show greater understanding, be genuinely inclusive and accepting and importantly they should embrace and support all Reverts through their private and public transition.
Remember, regardless of their race and/or ethnicity - they are now Muslim, and are therefore equal to us in every way!

It took Prophets a lifetime to search, understand and complete their deen and search for their Creator.
We muslims grow a beard, put on a thobe and that is our Identification. Real Muslim, Good muslim.
Muslim ladies put on a headscarf and wrap around in a curtain and think we are the best of best.
And there are extra, extra extra djannat ul firdous pari's who cover their body completely in black even hands and face are covered in black napkins.
Islam is not a piece of CLOTH. Religion is your lifetime search of your CREATOR.
How on earth have we made it this shallow?

Just remember this: to advise is one thing, to scold is another. Many have said she prays in English and rejects the Hadith, which is very wrong. However, everyone has been so harsh you’ve pushed her away! There was a companion who used to drink, and the companions used to get very angry at him when he got drunk. One day, they decided to spit on him as he was drunk and the prophet ﷺ told the companions “leave him be, for that man love Allah and His Messenger ﷺ” instead of scolding the man for drinking, the prophet ﷺ emphasised the importance of not pushing people away from the Deen because of the people. If you were truly sincere in advising her, you could’ve messaged her privately, and been well meaning saying something like “Assalamu alaikum dear sister, I just wanted to let you know that (insert something here) is not correct within Islam. If you need help with learning about it, I’d be more than happy to help/ refer you to someone who can help you” I’m sure she’d appreciate that much more than people harassing her to the point where they pushed her away from Islam. May Allah guide ALL of us, Ameen.

The most important thing in Salat is dhikr, yes she prays in English but dhikr is above speaking in Arabic. 107:4-5 speaks about people who are inattentive of their salah, for some reciting in Arabic even if they "know" the meaning cant keep track of what they are saying and it ruins their salah. Keep your opinions to yourself you lack knowledge, Muhammad PBUH nor did his companions and successors ever said it was fardh to pray in Arabic. That being said it only takes common sense to understand that if you sat something in English instead of Arabic it will never be the same, it must be done in Arabic however everyone has their journey.

The problem with this hadith is, you have two instances where men give judgement to the wrongdoer. No one but Allah SWT can do this. The Quran speaks of the Law of Retaliation when someone is murdered. Either it's a man for a man or the victims are compensated. The person in this hadith wouldn't have gotten away with killing 99 people in the dunya, even financially.

It doesn't work like that. There have always been two kinds of people. Believers and non-blievers. Sometimes there are non-believers who briefly believe and then there are believers who temporarily loose their faith. But whether or not you are a believer or a non-believer is deeply rooted in your personality and it doesn't simply change. I was born into a religious family and all I ever wanted was to believe. I had a loving father and a loving mother whom gave me nothing but love and appreciation and whom I loved so dearly that words cannot describe it. They were believers - but I wasn't. It just wouldn't start. I didn't tell my parents because I loved them so much. But it didn't matter how hard I tried. I never became a believer.
If you don't believe, you don't believe. It is as simple as that. I would like to go to heaven and live an eternal life of happiness - but just because I want to do that, I don't magically start to believe. I never started to believe in any diety. I really tried. But it never changed. To me it is blatantly obvious that Allah was created by men as millions of other gods were created by men. There is nothing special about that god. It's just what people from the 7th century would believe a god was. They'd project all the insecurities of rulers of that time into that god. That is why this god wants to be worshipped. It is why that god is easily offended etc. It hurts to see - how little confidence that god has. I tried to ignore it - it never worked. The notion that any god should be more real than another god seemed more and more absurd the older I got. When I was old enough, I came to another country. I studied history and then psychology - it didn't exactly helpt. I'm now officially imune against believing in any god. I started working as a therapist and I listened. Many of my patients are muslims - some of them are christians, but more thatn 50% are atheists....at least that's what they say - but it matters littel. Many so called atheists are believers who just haven't found their god yet. Once they do, things can become dangerous, because sometimes their god is going to be some investment guru, a pickup artist or a politicians. It's not always Allah. Others state that they are Muslims, but secretly, they are non-believers - they never believed. They tried to believe. They punished themselves for not believing and they told everybody around them they believed. Some og them seem very devoted on the outside. But just like me, they can't change the fact that they just won't believe. They never have and they never will.

You will see what is wrong and what is right, and do not forget the method in which it is presented, in addition to the misguided people who do not understand the meanings and interpretations of Qur’anic verses or hadiths. You must learn from someone. He has knowledge and is not an amateur
