Why Do Screen Have Problems ?

- In this video, Why do TV screen have double image(flickering) problem?
This problem come through core of glass substrate short circuit so we cannot solve it by changing components, COF or scalar board .
We should determine short track and stop it from receiving voltage or signal.
Remaining signals will keep on working if we do so.
To block those signals, either we remove jumper or cut off tracks.
This is not a genuine repair but, if problems can be solved by cutting less tracks
then picture quality is less hampered.
These tracks are named as CKV, CKVB in some panels whereas
LC, HC etc. on some.

Your technique seems working sometimes and fair enough but VGH voltage is not an alternating pulse but a constant 30V DC voltage and likewise VGL is a constant -9V DC voltage and not an alternating pulse. So my question is, why connect constant DC voltages to LC1 and LC2 which supposed to work but with alternating PWM signals, in this case pulsating 30V to -9V DC voltages with 3s duty cycle from the level shifter chip? And secondly, how does by passing the level shifter chip LC1 and LC2 PWM signals solve the problem, if it's caused but by the faulty gate electronics in the glass panel and not by the level shifter chip on the driver or source board?

Confused as to how you selected tracks to cut. You showed measurement of 24 volt and neg 10 volt. What does that show? That they are short? What is usual voltage of most pins on COF? Thanks for your efforts to help others.

I have an LG Flat Screen TV. The picture on every channel is discolored with neon-like colors, and then it will eventually go back to regular picture. The TV is probably 10-12 years old. Is this a sign of the TV going bad or age of TV?
Is it sufficient to just cut VGH and one other signal ? In other videos people cut all the clock signals. Also, how do you know, whether you have to cut traces to the left or the right side of the screen ? In my case voltages all look good, but I just have vertical bars. Does that mean I should also cut voltages ?

My panel only has CKV1 and CKV2, with also CKVB1 and CKVB2....do I cut both of them

This flickering just started happening on mine today - 43" Insignia. Picture is OK when cold, flickering increases with time.
(panel had previous crack while installing new LEDs 😤)
