Thank you great video. I bought the original 2004 ZX-10R in orange right when they came out. I had to wait an extra month for it had a wheel recall. After almost 20 years with her, her engine blew in January of 23. Two weeks later I bought the 23KRT. The difference is night and day.

Did you feel a big powerloss or? I heard they had alot of power and very lightweight. My friend has one with 29 000km on odo and he praises it for having no unnecessary aids and electronics. New bikes are heavier so one might assume theyre slower 🤔
@@eamh2002 My 04’ was much easier to ride. She was 20-25 pounds lighter had a 54.5” wheelbase which made her super easy to flick around. No steering damper with a 54.5” wheelbase was scary AF. She was not restricted at all. Lots of power with not much electronic aids. I miss here so much. My 23 is not as fun because of all the restrictions and the ride by wire took me 7000 miles to finally figure out. Once I unrestricted her with a flash (after her warranty expires in 4 years) perhaps I change my mind.

I bought a 2005 ZX 10 then, 9500.00 bucks while i lived on Long Island back then.

The Kawasaki zx 10 has become a motorcycle with a very weak engine compared to its competitors....DUCAT,BMW,APRILIA,R1
Ducati- desmo + anything to do with the bike cost an arm and a leg
BMW - anything to do with the bike cost an arm and a leg
Aprilia- about the same initial buy in if you can even find a dealer…but parts still cost an arm and a leg
R1- different power delivery but still a 200hp liter bike
You spend $30-40K on a top tier Liter bike ya it will make more than the standard 200hp that the “majority” of Liter bikes make… saying a 200hp ZX-10 is a weak engine is not really a valid point when other $20K Liter bikes make the same power…
