Instead of using regular caulking, you should have used painter's caulking, so you can paint over it because I learned the hard way you can't paint caulking. It's just a suggestion next time.

Love it. I did that same light hack over my kitchen sink a while back. Two tips… the lights with remote was expensive on Amazon , like you said. So I was super surprised when I found a 3 pack at Lowe’s with the remote for about 30.00. And instead of Velcro, I actually used a socket adapter and attached the back of the puck light to it with adhesive so it just screw in like a light bulb. That bench is beautiful! Enjoyed the video :)

You guys did such a great job! It looks beautiful. I use painters tape all the time to outline things on the wall or floor to get a feel of what size I need for a space and what it would look like. Like square or rectangle frames. After a few days I know exactly what would look best.

Omgosh!! Ashley you just gave me the best idea!! I've been wanting to add wall sconces in my bedroom but cant get it wired and having the cords hanging down just would not look good. So I can order the sconces you got and I needed them in black!! I already have the little lights I originally bought them because our home did not have under cabinet lighting so I ordered those with the velcro on amazon and just stuck them up under my cabinets! And my set came with a remote control. Anyway, now I can use what's left over in my bedroom! AMAZING!! I cant believe I actually already have most items needed! First time for me!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!

I absolutely love this and the black lights really ups the look since your door is black it ties it together In your living room you should do a larger entertainment area since your living room is big it make the stand to small. Mount your TV on the wall will also help. I just love everything you do.

You're Spring refresh looks amazing. I love that the furry boys hang out to see what is going on. An option for used towels, kitchen towels and bedding when you are done with them, is to donate them to your local animal shelter. They use them for surgeries. Happy Spring.

Giving the flat wall a nice pop of texture with the MDF strips worked well with your single colour.
However, they were defiantly too thick, leaving sharp straight edges top and bottom.
This could have been smoothed out by incorporating the strips into the coving and skirting, making for a seamless build. 7/10
Absolutely fantastic. Those lights are the icing on the cake. Perfect shot of the three of you in the mirror. Also heard more new jams in this one! That tune @3:20 really got the blood pumping!!

It looks so good! My daughter and I were just talking about doing this in her house and I said Ashley has a video up today and I sent it to her. I don’t think she realized how easy it is. But lumber has gotten really expensive! I think she’s wanting to do a 3/4 board and batten wall and have it painted two-toned in their bedroom. She’s got several projects going that she’s never finished though and that would drive me crazy! 😜
