Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

How about underwater tanks? No flotation, no going on land. Would be especially cool if the high seas map is available for multiplayer.

Yes, they're meant to have a ballistic trajectory. Turning them sideways throws everything off.

looking at the grass, what about a camouflage sniper battle? like each takes turn to hide, the other has 3 shots to find you, then the hider fires back, then gets to reposition
I love how the armored route did worked in the end and Scrapman did theorized well. He was basically a one tap if a cannon ball landed directly on him. Cuz he landed several shots directly on Yzuei yet he tanked it. Scrapman got hit and blew up right away. Chip damage is different but still a huge consequence.
suggestions:
1. under water car battle
2. a battle where you can build whatever you want (car, boat, sub, plane, hovercraft, crane, house, amphibious car, etc...). Would require strategy to build something that might have to potentially face anything (note: I think this would work better with more than just 2 players)

Make a land sea air battle, but you have to use the default build and modify from there. The twist is, for air battle you must start the build from non air default build. And picked build cannot be reused for other category. (eg, if you use the boat as the base for air battle, you are left with using the plane for land battle. Just so we have variety not having the car do all things for example)
Basic rules can be worked out as needed like 10 minute modification time, cannot delete og build blocks (can't move them for more difficulty?). Adding max 100 block and 10 power core on top etc.
Maybe include underwater battle but non sub default build don't have underwater seat if I'm not mistaken. 2nd seat can fix that I guess.
You should try to make a self flying plane using logic
Do an Air and Sea battle! The same concept applies to air and sea. During the combined Air and Sea rounds, turn on a recharge counter for Air so you can't spend the whole time in the air.
They did something like that where they used subs but could only shoot in air, but that would be pretty cool
I'm waiting for ScrapMan to finally snap and build some UFO glitch zero-drag wonderweapon to absolutely clown on Yzuei & friends
You should do a challenge where you build a weird shape using regular blocks for the opponent to use. Then they have to use it, add a few blocks to solidify/optimize it a little, and figure out where to put the mechanical parts to make it a working vehicle!
I would love a video where you guys build tanks that have an alternate mode to fly, or a hovercraft mode, I feel like that would be extremely fun. What do you think??
Rebuild your Orbital Cannon utilising new blocks and aiming servos? Multiple players in limited-size fast drones with single launcher on aiming servo versus single larger armored or dodge-build vehicle with various armaments on aiming servos? Both drone and vehicle designed by the individuals. Or a submersible aircraft battle?

You should do a challenge where there is a custom map with a race track made of only mud and have a bunch of sharp turns and zigzags. But your cars can only use racing wheels. PS this is in trailmakers

Hide and go BOOM! You each build an enclosure to protect some explosive (s) then hide it somewhere on the map. Then the seeker has to find and detonate the explosives, fastest wins.
Aiming Servos are love... especially for the Cannons. ^_^
I think you blew up because when your character got kicked out of the seat you popped into your creation and that deletes any blocks that would be in the way

Star Wars inspired space battle?
Would it be possible to do a breaching submarine battle? What I mean by this is you have submarines that when they're underwater there is a timer that will blow them up if they don't surface above the water by a certain altitude , like a dolphin. Then once out of the water they can attempt to do battle
You should do a "Top 1%" race around the island! Spawn one of your 1% builds as reference.
i think it'd kill as a Multiplayer Monday! it would take minutes to set up a slalom course in the water!
Honestly, the fact that scrap got a bi-round in the pvp competition could kinda hurt him, but the fact he does so much of this stuff all the time is why he is in the finals.
Making it so you could climb on walls would be overpowered

How about a hydroplane boat chase on the high seas? One person flees while the others chase and try to sink them. And since speed is the key, the entire map is in play. And you explode if you slow down enough that you're no longer hydroplaning.
17:18 Terrain is the surface or lay of land.
In Latin terra is (dry) land, soil, earth.
Hence why an ATV (all terrain vehicle) can't swim, but can drive well on road, dirt, mud and rock - in short: terrain.
Since Your using amphibious vehicles, I'd call it an amphibious battle.

I have a video idea. I made a video where I modified all template vehicles. You and Yzuei (Possibly more people, or other ones of you friends) and modify all/some/one of the template vehicles, and battle with them

Also, Multiplayer Monday Idea. I'd love to see a maximum complexity Mech battle in Trailmakers. Wheels or legs, but it has to use arms with weapons on them. Maybe even some melee if you're feeling adventurous
Maybe even a two seater, one driver, and one gunner. Or, just separate mechs lol. I'd love to see some of the new combat logic/blocks used if available too!

Could actually be fun to do a battle where you build the vehicle for the other person. with some limitation obviously so not all keys trigger explosive haha
you could reverse the control. or make the mouse target point backward, etc...

I'm surprised you didn't add some propellers or jets to the top half, that would have worked for both.

Video idea plane dog fight but the twist is you have to make a plane on the first round with 40 power cores and 250 blocks but every round you have to delete 10 -30 blocks WITHOUT MOVING ANY BLOCK.so you can't modify your build only deleat blocks,it will be hard and challenging but i know you can do it,hope you do make a video with this video idea

itd be interesting to do a battle with gunpowder cannons with vehicles that can either be subs or boats (tho maybe that would be too stale matey as either player can opt out at any time)

Day 22 of asking for a battle where you each make a vehicle of your choice unknown to the other players.
This might lead to a tank, a submarine, and a helicopter in a battle, so you would have to prepare a way to combat any threat (amphibious, etc.).
In case of an OP build, you can let the losers have some more power cores and blocks to try and even the playing field.
maybe an amphibious vehicle, where one controls it in the air, and the other one on land

It would be interesting to see a 1v1, or a 3-4 players free for all, (in an ocean map if there is one) with intense waves toggled on.
The only restrictions could be to not use an under water seat, to not use more than a certain amount of parts and power cores.
This would allow you to either build a boat or an aircraft.

Fun idea: al terain build, u try to hide and u have like a small gun/turret, hunter can build a all terein build as well with weapens and everything, no names, trying to find u, they have a build limit but u dont, accept ofc u cant have weapens, (accept a small gun) will u go big? Go small? Fast or bulky?

try setting gravity to 0 on this map and then battle with spaceships but unguided rockets only cause lasers are too quick
