I really love this owl bag ...You are an awesome teacher I never heard of a crocodile stitch now I know just what it is and how to do it should I need it again...I can't thank you enough for these wonderful Tutorials I use to crochet long ago but only knew one or two stitches I learned as a child I always felt lost looking at directions to stitch things but you have brought so much to light for me I am now 52 (53 in dec.) and you have helped me start enjoying crocheting again though now I can do more stiches....LOL...thanks to you

These are great croc stitches and 10 times easier than the ones I learned to do so thank you so much! I had sworn I would never do this stitch again and I saw you were doing it and knew I've been able to follow everything you have taught without an issue so I decided to try once more. I will tell you that I have tried to learn the crocodile stitch several times in the past and I just couldn’t get it. Doing it your way makes it so much easier to understand! So thank you so much and just ignore those people that like to be mean. There are many ways of doing different stitches and thank goodness there are because if I hadn’t seen your way I never would have done the crocodile stitch. You are the best teacher I have ever watched. Thank you again for all you do.

Crocheting is an awesome stress reliever and creates one of a kind gifts. As far as the way you do crocodile stitches...my mother always told me that there is more than one way to skin a cat. If you're doing it "wrong", I don't want to know the right way

After your comment about someone writing that your method for the crocodile stitch is wrong, I checked two other videos.
You’re not “wrong”; your method is slightly DIFFERENT from that of the others. The main difference is how you each construct your background stitches on which the crocodile stitches are made.
I like your method, as you make the posts closer, which makes the bag(s) stronger (in my opinion).
If I had found the other videos first, I might find your instructions confusing, only because I had used different instructions and needed to see YOUR method, instead.
Probably challenging for someone who learned a different method to change or even adapt the one they originally learned.
You are definitely CLEAR and easy to follow.
By the way, I noticed kids’ voices in the background. You obviously had a bunch of them around - yours and their friends?! Lovely to hear.

Hello Crystal. I recently stumbled upon a crochet video for an Owl Purse and I could be wrong but it looks to me that this person used the exact pattern you created back in 2014 for an Owl Purse. I remember that one because it's one of the first of your patterns I tried to do. The name of the person is "Crochet Saga" and she did one in 2018 in English and another in Hindi.
This has bothered me so much that I finally have decided to try and let you know. I believe she should have given credit for the purse pattern to you. She added a few minor changes (beads, lining, tassles, etc) but the purse appears to be an exact copy of your pattern.
To me, you are a lovely, kind-hearted young lady, and a WONDERFUL crocheter and teacher and I have enjoyed watching your channel for several years. I didn't know if people on UA-cam are allowed to copy and take credit for other people's creations, but I can't stop thinking about it and wanted to try and let you know. The comments are the only way I can see to contact you.
