@@omarytorres another fantastic thing about the ABC’s I forgot to mention is they are below the hurricane belt. This has led to them being more prosperous than some of the other islands.
My wife and I are sailing on Celebrity Equinox for the first time on October 14th for 8 days to the ABC Islands which is also a first to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Thank you for the information on these islands as it's appreciated.
Congratulations!!!!!! We will be celebrating out 27th that same week on Virgin. I LOVE that itinerary! Have you been on the Equinox before? We are looking at her for next year. Thanks so much for watching!!!!
@@travelingwiththia Good morning! Congratulations too you both as well on 27 yrs of marriage. Yes this is our first time sailing with Celebrity and Equinox in what's called there Aqua Class A-1 balcony category srateroom on deck 11 midship that has spa amenities and a included a specialty restaurant in Blu. I'm also surprising my my wife with a 10 day cruise setting sail December 30th to the Caribbean islands of Antigua, Barbados, St Lucia, St Kitts and Grenada on Oceania also for the first time on there newest ship Vista which came out in May 2023. Oceania is supposedly a step up from Celebrity cruise lines and only has 1,200 passengers and is a more luxury country club vibe. I booked it as a extension of our anniversary celebration with one of there Penthouse suites with a bigger size balcony also on deck 11 midship. I'm looking forward to experiencing these two cruise lines as my wife and I have only sailed with Norwegian Windword in 1993 and Escape in 2017 and Carnival Glory in 2003. We were younger when we sailed these ships but now that we are 56 we wanted to sail on midsize to smaller ships with less people compared to mega ships with little to no children and without the mega ships attractions of waterslides, rock climbing walls, zip lines etc. Lol..... when we were younger that was us but times, wants and needs tend to change as you age. Lol.
@@bobcarr5497 I am the same age as you. Our last child just graduated high school and we now have more freedom to try new ships. We have cruised a lot on Royal Caribbean. It was the perfect fit for our kids, but we too want smaller ships. I would love to hear about your experience on both lines. I am on Facebook and Instagram.
the pasteichis, krokets, Loempia, snoesjes, and pruim chines (sweet) are absolutely delicious. The Ponche Crema and other liquors, scuh as those made from Cactus are great and unique. The ABC islands are unique and special with their very diverse cultures..
Hi, going to curacao next winter and wondering if there is a short cruise from Curacao that goes to only Bonaire and Aruba. Any recommendations would be appreiciated.
Thanks so much for watching. It was Cas Abou Beach. To be honest, that is stock footage we went to Mambo Beach. It was pretty but my footage didn’t turn out well. Are you going to the ABC’s?
@@travelingwiththia yes I am but not until next July. I have been to Aruba and just love it and eagle beach so I was just looking up ideas for curaçao and Bonaire. Not sure to take a ship excursion or go on our own. Any suggestions ? Thanks!
If it is your first time in Curaçao. I would definitely walk around downtown. Two years ago we did a Cruise Ship tour of the island and I enjoyed it but not as much as I did downtown we went to Mambo beach on that one. If you were doing ABC’s and you’ve been to Aruba, I would have that as a beach day. It’s easy to take a cab down to Eagle Beach.
Enjoyed your video! Just spent a few days in the ABC Islands. What a Wonderful Experience. So glad it was part of our world cruise.
Bob so exciting you are on the world cruise. Are you posting about it anywhere? I’d love to follow along.

I have never been om those islands. Definitely it is on my bucket list!

I spy Brian!! We are definitely missing the ABC islands. Such a fun cruise!

Hi, going to curacao next winter and wondering if there is a short cruise from Curacao that goes to only Bonaire and Aruba. Any recommendations would be appreiciated.
I am sorry but no cruises embark out of Curacao. There are also no ferries. Your best bet would be to fly between the islands on Divi Divi Air
which beach did you show in your curacao clip?
