I think baba is immortal because she helps to bring people back with a halo for X days. So why could she not do this to herself & what lets her do this? There is some element of magic to her.
Yes it's true Master roshi does have immortality but it's not the type of immortality you're thinking of literally he has Eternal youth but he can be killed by someone stronger than himself or by taking his own life that conclusion I already new about it was perfectly obvious during Dragon Ball. And listen to the name Eternal youth or immortality or immortal hot though it makes you wonder if there's three types of immortality
This is a case of the franchise trying to be too clever for its own good. It’s not a fancy explanation, but just stick to the “Immortality Elixir” story and be done with it. I value consistency in stories, so as much as I love Dragon Ball, it can get a little annoying at times in this respect
Fortune teller baba is also hinted at being the reason ROSHI is alive. She is the escort of the dead. Do you think she’s gonna FORCE her own BROTHER to die and walk him to heaven or hell? No she’s not going to. He’s never gonna die as long as baba is the escort. I’m calling it now

Those manlets at Toei couldn't handle THE GAINS that Master Roshi would have had in the Dragon Ball Super Duper, and so made it so that he didn't appear. All so those crossfit losers Zamasu and Zamasu 2: Dark Future would stand a chance. Only for the king of manlets to appear and erase any chance of gains forever!

I think the things Roshi said to Tienshinhan were just deliberate lies so he would not worry about him fighting Piccolo and agreed to let him fight alone. I don't think it was intended to be an actual retcon.
The immortality talked about by Tien and Roshi is a bluff... he literally says it in the manga in the panels you just showed on screen.
That' was my point...
@@QaamansLand ah damn speak louder man I couldn't hear ya
I think baba is immortal because she helps to bring people back with a halo for X days. So why could she not do this to herself & what lets her do this? There is some element of magic to her.
Plot twist:Zeno killed Master roshi, when he erased future trunks timeline
A yo did I see Black Roshi.
How dafuq dis turtle get on the roof
Or he died of heartbreak.
Are you sure you can call it eternal youth? He's old
Roshi dies of food poisoning
Roshi the OG.
This is a case of the franchise trying to be too clever for its own good. It’s not a fancy explanation, but just stick to the “Immortality Elixir” story and be done with it. I value consistency in stories, so as much as I love Dragon Ball, it can get a little annoying at times in this respect
Is roshi still imortal if hes died and come back? Because he has lol
I’m calling it now
Roshi taught goku to have that heart
Well GT doesn't matter , so that retcon doesn't count lol. I think k when tv shows do this, (retcon mid series ) I tend to just go with what the latest thing said , and my headcanon is its just a new better way the character figured out
Those manlets at Toei couldn't handle THE GAINS that Master Roshi would have had in the Dragon Ball Super Duper, and so made it so that he didn't appear. All so those crossfit losers Zamasu and Zamasu 2: Dark Future would stand a chance.
Only for the king of manlets to appear and erase any chance of gains forever!
ageless != Immortal.
Is Qaaman here today actually immortal! 🤩
No living forever is being Eternal,
Immortal means you can't die. (The rules on how to kill an immortal varies on story tho) i am getting so fed up with people calling eternal youth immortality, STOP IT! ETERNAL not IMMORTAL! If you can stop aging but still get killed by battle, that makes you Eternal not Immortal. BTW what I believe about Roshi is that he can prevent aging thru various methods but can still die thru damage from battle.
I think Eternal is more you Eternal is more you never had a beginning nor will you have an end.. Whereas Immortal has levels to it. IMHO..
Roshi is just a liar, it was clear in the first example he's full of himself
only immortal being on eath is mr POOPOO
