Speaking of "Foreshadowing", i would like to add a hidden detail. During the bridge scene while rescuing a boy, it is shown that Ram goes for the flag and Bheem goes for the child, which is a representation of Ram fighting for the country and Bheem's mission to rescue the girl, adding to that, they exchange the flag and the boy which represents that Ram will be rescuing the girl at the end by getting her to Bheem and similarly Bheem will fetch the weapons to Ram.
26:02 He is Lord Rama, one of the most celebrated and worshipped incarnations of Lord Vishnu. The next whole song, "Ramam Raghavam" is veneration of Lord Rama's virtues. Please follow subtitles. In Indian culture, wearing saffron is the sign of renunciation and sacrifice.
Awesome, enjoyed your openness and discussion! To answer you, the God with the bow and arrows is Ram or Rama historically in India atleast 10,000 years ago, known for king valor and divinity-as an Avatar (James Cameron named his movie with this Sanskrit word as it denotes transfer of consciousness energy between beings). You may have also heard of one of the Beatles songs, written while they lived in India, with George Harrison chanting “Hare Rama Hare Krishna” after the Hindu God!
26:03 If you guys don't know who the God was at the climax, sorry to say that but, even after watching it for the second time, you guys don't understand the full movie yet. 😅

That's how this movie was born.... This movie is about India's freedom from british rule, 2) In RRR we find the performances of english actors far better, that's because rajamouli approached professionals, the one who played Scott is "Ray Stevenson" one who acted in "Thor" movies, one who played lady Scott is "Alison doody" the lead actress from indiana jones.... 3) When ram captures bheem's clan member, he catches a snake n attacks ram even though he is tied, that man catching the snake is justified coz they r gond tribals, they know everything abt every animal, how to trap and catch them, n how to treat animal attacks using natural ayurvedic remedies, since they were born n brought up in jungle along with those animals n plants, that's how even jr NTR is able to tame n control the animals during interval sequence.... That song jr NTR sings while being whipped "komaram bheemudo", few non indian and north indian audience may find the song lil distasteful because they r unaware of the importance of the song, the gond tribe (the telangana people) who faced many tortures under the nijam rule, hv developed a habit of singing folklore songs explaining their pain n oppression for years, these songs kind of made those people stronger n revolt against nijams, similarly at the end of the song people revolt, even now a days these songs r famous in Telangana area, we andhra n telangana people r familiar with such songs, but north indian n non indian audience may not hv any idea abt it, even the song komaram bheemudo was written by one of the famous revolutionary singer from telangana area, if u concentrate on the lyrics of the song we can feel the oppression his people r facing.... 4) the subtext or easter egg about the "Barbed whip" that lady scott threw to torture jr NTR is that in the climax when the Scott's empire blows up when lady scott died we can see her body hanging in "Barbed wires" implying that she finally got what she deserved.... "karma is a bitch"🤭🤭🤣 5)near the climax when jr NTR knocks on the floor to find ram who was imprisoned in the ground, he actually knocks the same beats of Nacho Nacho song, so that only ram charan could recognise it's him rather than other possible prisoners, ram charan also reciprocates by knocking the same beat of nacho nacho, even in the earlier scene when ram charam is bit by snake he plays the same beats to communicate with jr NTR, the cinematic brilliance of rajamouli for using a song in so many ways giving easter eggs all the way around is lit🔥🔥🔥 hatsoff to rajamouli 🙏 6) In a scene where they show the security measures of the palace they had 2 doors at entrance, only after closing the 1st door they will open 2nd door, if we observe both the doors clearly and also if we listen to the creek sounds of both doors, we would know the outer door is a wooden one, and the inner door is a metal one, so to rescue malli they can break the outer door but they can't break the inner door, that's the reason y the character jhangu climbs a tree and listens for the 2nd door to open to rescue malli in interval scene... Every small detail in this movie is well planned and well executed... 7) the scene about bheem carrying ram in the climax sequence may seem a bit overemphasized, but even earlier in the film in dosti song there was a shot giving easter eggs, where we can see jr ntr doing squats on the ground lifting ram charan, then ram charan does pull ups holding a tree branch, this way rajamouli is planting an idea subconsciously to his audience that jr ntr got lower body strength n ram charan got upper body strength... So that audience get convinced during the climax scene where bheem carries ram... Even the scene seems physically impossible, rajamouli never hesitates to show his ideas n imaginations in the mostmost convincing way possible, that scene may be impossible but u could never find any other director pulling of such a scene in any film like rajamouli... Respect.... 8) The same way In climax fight sequence bheem lifting a bike looks over the top for sure, but do u know those bikes were actually used during second world war time so that in any unforeseen situation during war the soldiers can actually carry the bikes, those bikes weight around 55kgs only, i agree that even 55 kg bike travelling at 50kmph velocity is difficult to be lifted... But look at the way it was imagined, presented, picturized, the mesmerising cinematography in that scene, the kind of goosebumps it gave us, we should watch the movie for its epicness, rather than being nitpicky about everything.... 9) At the climax that transformation of ram charan🔥🔥, many people thought that was sree ram's avatar, there are many indian purana's references to the movie for sure but its not only sree ram's avatar, it is also about the original look of Alluri seeta rama raju (the freedom fighter ram charan was playing), alluri seeta rama raju in history was well learnt man who wears those kashayam clothes fights with bow n arrows, probably the best archer india has ever had, he fought against britishers he got weapons n guns by attacking police stations n british camps, he used the same weapons to attack britishers with his trusted men... Even he was shot dead bybritishers in the freedom struggle... Legend says that britishers put around 100 bullets in his body n ruthlessly killed him... At the end of the film rajamouli showed ram n bheem in their original looks ram wearing kashayam clothes, with long hair n beard, bheem with a pagdi on his head n those clothes gond people used to wear... 10) the final RRR fact, For the interval sequence with animals rajamouli shot for around 65 nights, each night they spent around 75lakhs for the shoot itself... In that interval sequence they had to imagine animals were there n fight accordingly, for that to happen n so that each n every background artist to be in sync with the CG animals rajamouli employed different tactics while shoot a) for bear they used a person wearing green blanket, since the movement of bear is slow similar to a human being... b)For shots with tiger, tiger moves much faster than humans, so they can't just place a human with green blanket, so rajamouli positioned laser lights following the head position of the tiger, so that camera man n actors can imagine the position of tiger n act accordingly. c) for wolves they used dogs which were trained to catch a ball, while shooting the sequence they randomly throw the balls in middle of men, so the dogs chase the balls, in that way rajamouli captured peoples reactions to wolves, later on during CG he replaced the dogs with wolves... d) for other fast moving animals like deers, they used remote controlled cars moving in between the actors.... ..
1. Ram and Bhim are mentioned in Ramayan and Mahabharat . 2. the staute is of god Ram . 3. the final song is acttually for the God Ram (from Ramayan) and Bhim (a strong warrier from mahabharat )
30:48 THE BIKE THEY HAD WAS SPECIALLY REMODELLED IN A FACTORY. THE BIKE WEIGHS 71kgs. WHEN HE CAN THROW PEOPLE WHO MAY WEIGH 80+kgs.THROWING A BIKE IS NOT A BIG DEAL
25:55 - Some trivia - The Deity they have shown is "Ram", the person on whom Bheem wraps the Deities robe is "Ram" (Rama Raju) and the actor who is playing Rama Raju is also "Ram" (Ram Charan)
33:10 Similar to Inglorious Bastards. You'll find a lot of similarities between SS Rajamouli and Quentin Tarantino if you think about it. Though Quentin's movies are slow paced and take time to build up all characters to climax. IMHO SS Rajamouli is a nice mix of some parts of Quentin Tarantino (remixing historical characters/sets/story telling) + Michael Bay (visual effects - explosions) + Peter Jackson (epicness and visual effects). Unique in his own way. Peter Jackson because of Baahubali 1 and 2 (which SSR directed as well). You should watch these movies too!
@@CannoliSasquatch best of this director is "Eaga" the fly .a house fly taking revenge .an excellent story telling .. u will like it more than Bahubali series.
The English dub has Bheem saying "Be my teacher!" but the captioned text in another version translates Bheem saying "Teach me to read and write" followed by the enscribing of text on the flag, which would actually make better sense. (Possibly the English is a translation of the Hindi, but the other is the original Telugu?)
in india it is very common for guys to be close ,hold hands put arm around each other ...no one will think that its something else ,i"have seen some reaction channel thinking that there might be a love angle between the main characters in the first hour of the movie

lol, good discussion guys. 12:50 that was not a tiger he threw. It was a leopard. Its pattern is spotted. And it weighs ~50 pounds. So, it is possible.
@@CannoliSasquatch Oh, and the statue in 26:09 is one of God Vishnu's incarnations, Raama. Vishnu is the name of one of the three primary trinity gods. Hindu scriptures say that this Rama was a master archer who had various superpowers. And "Bheem" was another powerful figure from Hindu mythology.Bhima/ Bheem, who was known for having super strength was born to a mortal mother and the wind God as his father. He has super strength(Like Hercules). which is how he got his name in this movie. So, throughout the whole movie, there are subtle religious inserts that you guys might have missed and at the end, they bring back everything with full force. In the climax battle if you see the background music/song they actually tell the story as a song of who they are and how they represent all the good stuff in a religious way. (In India every little thing involves spirituality, and nationality and has religious undertones more or less). Regarding the throwing bike thing, the argument is that the motorcycle was compared to something like Royal Enfield's "Flying Flea"(weighs around 100 pounds which were used during WWII, where the bike was so light that they could actually lift it and carry it in the war. But what bheem was lifting was a beefed-up version of it and kind of exaggerates this with his movie superpowers. It's just for the cool factor in my opinion.

This comment needs a huge applause honestly. There is a lot of layers to this movie. One thing we cud add here is coz Bheem's background is in Nizam ruled Telangana, it was easy for him to disguise himself as Akthar, just saying.

Comprehensive population censuses carried out by the colonial regime beginning in the 1880s reveal that the death rate increased considerably during this period, from 37.2 deaths per 1,000 people in the 1880s to 44.2 in the 1910s. Life expectancy declined from 26.7 years to 21.9 years

Actually Ram is also our hindu God's name which Ram incarnated in the end with bow and arrow... Lord Ram is Jesus to us... And Bheen is also son of our God of wind... Who has power of 1000 elephants in him according to our hindu epic "mahabharat" thats why Ram and Bheem is like superhero in this movie... Bcoz Ram is our God and Bheem is also son of God.

Concur 100% at 27:15. Hollywood went woke and ruined what it means to make great movies. Wish Hollywood goes back to doing what it was great at. Make movies entertaining instead of always trying to put across some political messaging interleaved within the movie. If I want politics I'll watch the news. I don't need politics in my effing movie. Just give me the damn thing raw. Sick of this woke BS! It makes those movies unwatchable. Most Indians grew up watching not just Bollywood but Hollywood movies too. So we know what you mean when you say Hollywood no longer makes these kinds of movies. Wokeism is a disease.
It’s great that everyone enjoyed the movie. But almost all the background reasoning is wrong including the ‘facts’.eg the 1906 flag was not an ‘Indian’ flag but a revolutionary one. This particular one was significant because it was unfurled in Europe. There were other flags simultaneously used along with that one in India. The words water, land and jungle were not on the Indian flag. That was the real Komuram Bheem’s slogan because he was fighting against British laws destroying tribal land .
Thanks for your reaction to RRR guys 🙏 .. Though you seemed to like the movie overall, you did sound a ''smidgen'' dismissive / condescending about the over the top action scenes and were critical to the realistic probabilities of some scenes [ironically Hollywood churns out more outlandish & Woke trash year after year that ends up getting rave reviews and an occasional Oscar 😜]. Not being rude guys, just opining .✌
You need to understand that Indian cinema is very diverse and mind numbingly varid in it's subject matters and cultural approach from different linguistic regions. If you are looking for realism and for you to be able to really appreciate the depth and scope of Indian cinema, you must watch and react ''live'' to the once in a lifetime and historically accurate movie ''SARDAR UDHAM'' .. It will just rip your soul . Hope you do take this suggestion seriously and I guarantee you, neither you nor your audience will be disappointed. [Here's the trailer of the movie, for your consideration.. ua-cam.com/video/bLWgKt1-SYo/v-deo.html [don't forget to enable subtitles] ✌.. It will also put to rest your westernized, watered-down history, of colonial brutality. With respects & regards from an Indian dude domiciled in Hong Kong... 🙏💖

In that interval sequence they had to imagine animals were there n fight accordingly, for that to happen n so that each n every background artist to be in sync with the CG animals rajamouli employed different tactics while shoot
a) for bear they used a person wearing green blanket, since the movement of bear is slow similar to a human being...
b)For shots with tiger, tiger moves much faster than humans, so they can't just place a human with green blanket, so rajamouli positioned laser lights following the head position of the tiger, so that camera man n actors can imagine the position of tiger n act accordingly.
c) for wolves they used dogs which were trained to catch a ball, while shooting the sequence they randomly throw the balls in middle of men, so the dogs chase the balls, in that way rajamouli captured peoples reactions to wolves, later on during CG he replaced the dogs with wolves...
d) for other fast moving animals like deers, they used remote controlled cars moving in between the actors....
..
1. Ram and Bhim are mentioned in Ramayan and Mahabharat .
2. the staute is of god Ram .
3. the final song is acttually for the God Ram (from Ramayan) and Bhim (a strong warrier from mahabharat )
Thank you for the information
Wow that's a lot of Rams. Thank you for that information
Glad you enjoyed Indian Cinema.
Here are few more suggestions for you
1. Bahubali 1 & 2
2. Tumbbad
3. Sardar Udham
4. 3 Idiots
Bajirao Mastani
3 Idiots = Not recommended.
Those movies are on my list for sure. Thanks for the information
@@CannoliSasquatch best of this director is "Eaga" the fly .a house fly taking revenge .an excellent story telling .. u will like it more than Bahubali series.
@@kd20699 I will put it on the list thank you
The English dub has Bheem saying "Be my teacher!" but the captioned text in another version translates Bheem saying "Teach me to read and write" followed by the enscribing of text on the flag, which would actually make better sense. (Possibly the English is a translation of the Hindi, but the other is the original Telugu?)
RRR- King of movies
RRR- The most Entertaining Flick from EARRRTH
Epiccccccness on God level
Insanity on Devil Level

26:01 Thats Lord Ram , you guys should watch Ramayana anime (Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama) . you will know his story little bit by that
Guys this film was meant for Indian audiance at large. So the British accent was adjusted so tha indian people would understand.
Didn't know that. Very interesting
This morning I bench pressed a Mercedes Benz GLS so it's not entirely impossible for Bheem to pick up the bike and throw it one handed.
The bike he lifted was only 60 kg. It was made for soldiers specially in first world war so that they could lift it it on difficult terrain.
in india it is very common for guys to be close ,hold hands put arm around each other ...no one will think that its something else ,i"have seen some reaction channel thinking that there might be a love angle between the main characters in the first hour of the movie
Well here in the US there is an agenda but yes you're correct
RRR for Oscars !!
Definitely deserves to win
Won't happen.

No Malayalam movie. Common Malayalam produces quality content in Indian cinema.
Drishyam 1and 2 and minnal murli of malyalam industry
Please stop using wood in indian film industry😂😂
The Murti (Statue) is of Sri Rama. 7th Avatara of Bhagwan Vishnu.
This movie is a fictional story taking two real life actual freedom fighters... thats why they made this movie so cool and border line superhero thing
I got a huge man-crush on Ram Charan because of this movie.
world war 2 bikes were around 50 kgs , so that they could be parachuted from airplanes
bollywood has john abraham who had thrown a motor cycle for real
RRR 2 was just confirmed two days ago, though it may have the two main actors in new roles.
Oh really? Nice
During 1920's, the war bikes is supposed to weigh 58-kg.
And the God in the climax is Shri Ram.
The bike weight at that time period is actually 60 to 70 kg
so it is not impossible for bheem to through 60 to 70 kg
Yea 2:12 the English dub is rough for those scenes when they’re doing the Bheem and Jenny scenes. I’d watch the Hindu dub for sure
Americans understanding indian movie more thn indians do.. .. Seems american have more free time 🇺🇸
Thanks for the compliment.
during 1920s , Motor cycles weight was around 25kgs and they were light!!
Not 25kgs but 75 kgs
@@karandoshi8828 59kg..google it.
lol, good discussion guys.
12:50 that was not a tiger he threw. It was a leopard. Its pattern is spotted. And it weighs ~50 pounds. So, it is possible.
Good catch didn't realize it was a leopard
A leopard weighs way over 50 pounds. An average sized leopard can weigh up to 70 kgs.
Egg shells of the movie..
1) seeta rama raju from andhra pradesh and Komuram bheem from telangana statess, in history both of them Raju and bheem were from same timeline but never met each other in reality, in original history they both went missing for 4 years during this 1920 time period, no one knows where they went and what they did, but after 4 years they both returned to their villages and fought their own fights and both sacrificed their lives for our country, Director rajamouli hv woven a fictional story that what happens if they met each other, and exchange their ideas and ideologies in the time period they went missing... That's how this movie was born.... This movie is about India's freedom from british rule,
2) In RRR we find the performances of english actors far better, that's because rajamouli approached professionals, the one who played Scott is "Ray Stevenson" one who acted in "Thor" movies, one who played lady Scott is "Alison doody" the lead actress from indiana jones....
"karma is a bitch"🤭🤭🤣
5)near the climax when jr NTR knocks on the floor to find ram who was imprisoned in the ground, he actually knocks the same beats of Nacho Nacho song, so that only ram charan could recognise it's him rather than other possible prisoners, ram charan also reciprocates by knocking the same beat of nacho nacho, even in the earlier scene when ram charam is bit by snake he plays the same beats to communicate with jr NTR, the cinematic brilliance of rajamouli for using a song in so many ways giving easter eggs all the way around is lit🔥🔥🔥 hatsoff to rajamouli 🙏
6) In a scene where they show the security measures of the palace they had 2 doors at entrance, only after closing the 1st door they will open 2nd door, if we observe both the doors clearly and also if we listen to the creek sounds of both doors, we would know the outer door is a wooden one, and the inner door is a metal one, so to rescue malli they can break the outer door but they can't break the inner door, that's the reason y the character jhangu climbs a tree and listens for the 2nd door to open to rescue malli in interval scene...
10) the final RRR fact, For the interval sequence with animals rajamouli shot for around 65 nights, each night they spent around 75lakhs for the shoot itself... In that interval sequence they had to imagine animals were there n fight accordingly, for that to happen n so that each n every background artist to be in sync with the CG animals rajamouli employed different tactics while shoot

d) for other fast moving animals like deers, they used remote controlled cars moving in between the actors....
This comment needs a huge applause honestly. There is a lot of layers to this movie. One thing we cud add here is coz Bheem's background is in Nizam ruled Telangana, it was easy for him to disguise himself as Akthar, just saying.
The director is making planning for part 2........those who not enjoyed this movie in theatre, director is planning for worldwide release.
I cannot wait to see part 2

Our research finds that Britain’s exploitative policies were associated with approximately 100 million excess deaths during the 1881-1920 period, write Sullivan and Hickel[British Raj(1904-1906)/Wikimedia
Experts agree that the period from 1880 to 1920 - the height of Britain’s imperial power - was particularly devastating for India.

I am glad you said all this because it is true. Maybe someday Hollywood will change. Thank you for watching the video.
Thats a leopard not a tiger which he threw and leopards are more lighter and agile then tigers
