The Fact that Rachel Berry got 2 standing ovations is insane. Her O Holy Night performance was amazing and proves that she's one of the best singers on the show. Also, Sam to Brittany "I checked, the walking dead is NOT based on a true story" 🤣
Don't forget Rachel's performances of; To Love you More, Oops I Did It Again, New York State Of Mind, Torn, and Creep with Brody. These songs are specifically season 4.
The first song Rachel sang was from the musical "Hallelujah, Baby". IRL she would never be picked to be in that musical, but Rachel sang the song because Barbra Streisand recorded it for one of her albums.
i think it's funny that Carmen originally expressed her tiredness of hearing 'giants in the sky, and Being alive" as audition songs, but then Kurt sings being alive and she loves it xD
It is so annoying and weird how some people preface how they feel about Rachel before even the making the slightest positive comment about her. It is not a crime to say something positive about her. She did a lot f nice things in this episode, she was so supportive of Kurt and Finn.
@@xXMusicMixxiXx By the age of 5 people should be able to separate real from fiction. But even then liking someone’s performance does not mean you condone or even support their actions, so no reason for the awkward preface.
Hey Travis, just subscribed. I'm glad you're doing these reactions! Even though season 4 was disliked by most, I still loved it, especially all the songs, most notably in this episode, Don't Dream It's Over. Also I hate to say this but as much as I find Rachel annoying, she still does have a good voice so I personally think she, Mercedes and Artie have the best singing voices in the entire show. Her performance in this episode was astounding, amazing, not to mention impressive as well.
I got you! The first episodes are ok but then is the struggle to find balance between Ohio and New York and trying to have these themes for each episode and it feels sometimes forced. For me Finn is the one that carries this season because after everything he is trying to find himself and is as not easy as others like Rachel, but he tries.
I think the term you might be looking for is "disjointed". The episodes were better when it was all New York or all Lima and not switching back and forth. By this time, for the most part, they are starting to push the newer characters into the background (and it's REALLY obvious by S05!) and giving them less to do - fewer solos and story lines and what not. I mean, they certainly don't ignore them altogether, but you know the ratings and viewer feedback is starting to affect their scripts.

🤣
This is such a good episode. She put Kurt up there because she knew he could do it. And Kurt’s performance gets underrated constantly.
Rachel's oh holy night performance is my favorite performance of the whole show
def top 5 AT LEAST for me

Don’t Dream It’s Over is easily one of the best songs in the entire series.
Brad talking is ALWAYS a gift.
Embrace it.

Being alive is wonderful.

Holy Night is pure magic
but i have to say Don't dream is over is my favorite perfromance in this episode

I love when Kurt goes into his lower register

I think people mostly refer to the actress and her behavior irl because it's her voice after all.

The only person that seems to think it’s awkward is you. If a character MORE times than not has crappy traits… I’m probably going to bring that up.
@@TravisViews Yea, Rachel was so crappy this episode you had to preface it.
It is so weird, people act as if liking Rachel is some dirty little secret you need to hide away.
Great reaction, and I love your pillow, Ew, David! ❤️🤣
