I think you are advancing to a higher level of what we have learned. Rooting for you as I want to grow in my horsemanship. I think I perceive your true intentions. Keep doing what your doing, praying for less cussing.
The good thief repented of his sins, acknowledge Jesus as God, and he admonished the unrepentant thief (a spiritual work of mercy). Jesus, the day of His Resurrection commissioned His Apostolic Church to perform Baptisms using the Trinitarian formula. Matthew 28:19 He is the potter, we are the clay. He instituted Trinitarian Baptism, we are to respond with our obedience. Additionally, in 1 Peter 3:21, Christ's Sacrifice for sin must be applied to each personalized soul, that is done through Baptism (a Theophany of Grace). God the Father welcomes the person into His Kingdom and the Holy Spirit indwells the person's soul. In Scripture, St. Paul baptized "entire families." Where in Scripture do you read that St. Paul required the consent of a child prior to being Baptized?
As a parent, are you waiting for your child's approval before you dress, feed, or take them to the doctor? Scripture writes that in Baptism, we die with Christ and rise to new life in Him. When you forfeit your parential rights over to a child, Satan begins to take hold of your child. Your refusal to cloth your child in the Armour of God has consequences.
Do you wait until a child is a teenager for them to agree that learning to read is a necessary ability to possess? Parents are held responsible for the spiritual education of their children. God gives their soul salvation, adoption, and protection at Baptism. "Baptism now saves you...." 1 Peter 3:21
I never said not to baptize or christen your children. But when you do that is a promise you are making that you will raise the child in a Godly home and way. If your child gets baptized or christened at a very young age and grow up never accepts salvation for themselves. They are not saved. That’s why the church is full of religious people and not people who have a relationship with Jesus. Jesus said lest a man be born again he shall not see the Kingdom of God. Jesus said no one come-to the Father except through Him. Then scripture tells us to confess and believe to be saved. We can’t saved our children from sin. We can train them up in the way they should go but they must chose that way for themselves it’s called free will.
@2KRanchLife Christ established in His Church the requirement to Baptize and to teach: "Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you...." The Church encourages and teaches relationship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit through the Catechism and also through spiritual formation to worthily receive His Body and Blood (1 Cor 11:27-32). As St. Paul instructed, the Baptized are properly Baptized and then also confirmed with the Holy Spirit (Acts 19: 1-7).
@@barbwellman6686baptism is NOT required for salvation. If you think it is, than you believe Jesus lied to the thief on the cross when he told him “you will be with me in paradise.” That man was literally nailed in place and was not baptized, did no works, and is a testament to how little is needed to be saved-only to believe in Jesus. Anything else is ADDED later.
@-qj6ps Christ instituted Trinitarian Baptism after His Crucifixion. On the day of His Resurrection (Matthew 28:19). 1 Peter 3 "In the ark a few people, only eight souls, were saved through water. 21And this water symbolizes the baptism that now saves you also-not the removal of dirt from the body, but the pledge off a clear conscience toward God-through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, 22who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with angels, authorities, and powers subject to Him." St. Paul was concerned in his evangelization, to ask of whose Baptism converts had received (John's vs Christ's) Acts 19 4Paul explained: “John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the One coming after him, that is, in Jesus.” 5On hearing this, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus. 6And when Paul laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied. 7There were about twelve men in all."

Praying for you Colton

Cussing is a lazy man’s way of being emphatic.
Worshipping gods? Seriously? Creepy
Not gods plural, God alone.
@-qj6ps what makes your "GOD" different than the many others? That it's yours? Creepy
