@codemang3635 The stuff people are using in the Souther Hemisphere is next level! I've got a True Kit inflatable catamaran that I've been running in Hell's Canyon and it works amazing!
It all comes down to what you can afford. The boat alone on alibaba is only 1200 bucks. A real racing thundercat is 6k for the boat alone. Since I'm more utilitarian and not racing, I can't justify the fancy stuff, let alone afford it. I know takacat's boats are sourced on alibaba, and for like 500 bucks. Cant remember, but the true-kit boats might be on there too. Geothe has a 13ft air floor cat with hijackers on it. Should definitely check that one out! I will likely get one soon. m.alibaba.com/product/1600506161913/Goethe-High-Speed-Racing-Rigid-Hovercraft.html?__sceneInfo=%7B%22cacheTime%22%3A%221800000%22%2C%22type%22%3A%22appDetailShare%22%7D&from=share&ckvia=share_fb0e9d6fa4024787b26cd5fe22f6524f
Just curious why you would consider the 13ft air floor model when you have your current one. Is there a benefit of the airfloor over the hard that you have? Can't you have a higher HP engine on your harder floor model vs air floor. I've been looking at the true kit style and the thundercat. Major difference is the weight and the maximum HP rating? Any recommendations?
We did add the 2" tube on top as a spacer because the motor is a long shaft. Thundercats are really designed for a short, but I'm not even going to bother trying to find one.
@aaronlingo3989 I had everything done by a broker. There will be : import security filing (ISF) Then freight to port in chine Then the actual sea freight on container ship Once it lands in port, your freight forwarder/broker will clear it through customs. Then, if you're not close to port, like myself, shipping to home from port. Also, expect a 25% tarriff, which sux butt. Most of this hinges on where you're at. Email me at freedivesandpoint@gmail if you want some more specifics.
Yeah, its doing great. I wish it had over pressure relief valves, for when the day heats up, but that's the only shortcoming really. I've only had it for a summer and winter so far, but I haven't come across a single issue. No seams have shown any funny business. Once I get a proper short shaft on it, I'm confident in being able to push it quite a bit harder too. One of these days, when the waves get big out there, I'll get some good video of what it can really eat.
Hi, Please would you be so kind as to let me know name of the Chinese company, supplier of your Thundercat. I would like to order one. My regards Marko Ivani, Bosnia and Herzegovina
How long was the delivery turn around once you ordered and I can't seem to find how much taxes and tariffs will cost. Of course now they are around 1200$
That transom is next level!
That’s a badass RIB boat!
What was the total cost on your thundercat including tariff?
8k home. Not including trailer.

When you say it’s a long shaft do you mean 20” or 25”?
20
@codemang3635 did you have to pick it up at the port or did they deliver it to your home? First time buying something this size off of Alibaba for me.
