Sorry haven't done the rears yet. I video'd the passenger side mistakenly, the sensor should be on the driver's/left side. But the sensor just unplugs easily from the pad once the caliper is off. Sorry about that!
It might be tricky given the space in there, plus you really want to push them all in at the same time because one might come out as you are pushing the other in. I'm sure the investment for an internal "piston spreader" from Harbor Freight/Princess Auto/Amazon will last a lifetime and be well worth the cost. Or check your local auto store if they rent tools if you don't plan to do this often. Always plan to make the job as easy as possible, working on cars can be a headache for the DIYer so try to reduce the potential for problems as much as possible. Good luck!
Question: Given that 145 ft -lbs torque is pretty hefty, did you replace the caliber bolts? or was it okay to re use them? I hear people saying they need to be replaced??
@GibbysGarage15 oh ok. So you CAN reuse them. I may need to as well. Don't have time to order and wait for them to arrive by this weekend. Next time I will replace them. Ha
@@Nnon11026hj Should be fine, they're not even torque to yield as far as I know. The rears are a different story, usually they are TTY on VAG products.
@GibbysGarage15 thanks. I just found out that you can actually remove rear rotors without removing the caliper carrier on the rear. Which will save you some hassle. Remove the caliper and pads and remove the disc set screw and finagle the disk out.
Super nagranie dziękuję !!!!

I did not in this case, but it's recommended to replace them.
