That my friend is issue right, Classroom is an act of individual brilliance whereas Cricket is team game. Unless your number 1 care for number 2 or vice versa you are always gonna struggle as team. and if person can't open up with people who he/she gonna spend most of his time, his mental health won't last longer. I believe a happy environment is a must because when you're winning matches then any team will be perceived as good but the real test begins only when the team loses matches then the real character is shown.In case of chennai you will see they will trust the same set of players who might not do well in the particular season but still the team backs them completely and then the players feel so good and motivated that they want to something extra for that team.Therefore a happy environment for me I guess is idle.

Hey everyone! I just wanted to share my thoughts on the idea of demolishing the West Indies cricket team and distributing its players among smaller associate nations. In my opinion, cricket is not solely about playing for your country or your flag.
If we look at various leagues or county cricket, we see players from different countries coming together to represent a team. They may have different nationalities, but when they step onto the field, they play for their team of 11 players and their franchise. Cricket is a game that transcends borders, and players can find a sense of camaraderie and unity in representing a team, regardless of their nationality. Let's celebrate the diversity and global nature of the sport while supporting the growth of cricket in all regions, including the West Indies.

Even 2011 Indian team were not best friends Look at GG and Dhoni, But they performed when it was needed. Yuvraj’s Father till date is jealous of MSD still both MSD and Yuvi played well and won the wc. The more personal you become, you become more attached and it creates weakness in the team.
Its a topic of debate and people could have different opinions on it.
1. If your dressing room is like a family - it will be difficult to drop some player from team. But its a national duty and only strongest and fittest should be there.
2. If you treat it like your job/national duty / your career - you might not have bonding between players. Players will be busy in rat race for keeping their place in team.
I guess team should be combination of both. And I guess our Indian team is like that only. Few friends like Ishan-Gill, few seniors like Rohit-Virat, few extraordinary performers like surya-yashaswi, few youngsters like Tilak-Mukesh, and few super performers whom you can not keep out anytime like Ashwin and Jaddu.
I guess we should be proud to have such balanced team.

Best example 1983 we had nothing and with the exception of Sunil Gavaskar there were no big names but we built a family then paanch ungliyon ki mutthi and we won.So humans work best in a community sense not in a competitive sense one more such example is CSK when Faf slipped through our fingers and was doing really well for RCB there was no animosity we all love him he's one of us.....one pride one family unlike RCB very well known players but per Yuzi Chahal the competition is fierce and it's individuals who carry that side for example KGF

A dressing room has 15-20 guys who are the best at what they do. The environment is meant to be a little competitive rather than familial. So, all guys can't be family to you, some people will just be work friends, it's okay so long as it doesn't hamper the team. A familial bond is created between a few players exclusively. Virat-MS, Virat-Ishant, Virat-Hardik, Virat-Yuzi, Rohit-Ishan(Just my guesses, not something that's set in iron)

Perhaps, this was something that V Kohli hinted at, after he came back in form, and scored that hundred against Afganisthan in the last Asia Cup.

People become friends over a period of time, these days teams get changed almost in every tour. It's quite natural that sense of insecurity will lead to cut throat competition among the team. Nowadays, people get picked and dropped for no reasons. Moreover, the corporate attitude inevitably leads to being colleagues and not friends. Earlier during dada's captaincy there were players who had backing from their captain and they were certain that they will play atleast certain number of games. When 11 to 15 people with such security and backing stay together for 8-9 months in a year camaraderie is bound to develop, which is still evident among those players.

I think a healthy competition does no harm , even healthy competition builds a team full of greats competing with each other.
Healthy competition is in every field, back when I used to prepare for NEET, all our hostel mates had a healthy competition, and it really helped us to improve ourselves ,it worked like a motivation for us
But we were also good mates
We used to do parties together, spend time with each other and all that
All are from different state but we all are indian ❤be a indian player not any franchise player ❤
Youll get a family feeling only when your place is secured. When your own place is in danger and then if you feel for other players then it's called stupidy because you have your family ro take care of and family comes first
