Watching scenes with Proctor, I always felt like if he had been in the same class as Mahoney and the gang, he would have been one of them. He has this sweet innocence to him, and a sense of play. AS a cadet he was probably just eager to please and ended up under the wing of Mouser (and later Harris) and it cemented him on the other side.
Really? I mean a few times sure I cracked a smile but that's most of the time way different. I feel disgusted and annoyed horrible. So much stupidity is hurting me. Especially Harris. And Proctor's unbelievable bottom...kissing. But pretty much anything else (except for the other Harris - forgot his name from movie 2 and 3)is simply awesome somehow.
Probably I should state I haven't watched the English version completely. The German version might be totally different in texts. So in original audio I might like him as well.

Funny scene. Having FUN on the beach with no cellphones or distractions. Went to the beach a couple of years ago with friends & relatives. It was no fun. Most of the time they were on their cellphones or on facebook. After that didn't go with them anywhere.
I’m from Fort Lauderdale, maybe back in the day like this takes place in the 80’s but not even Miami has beach parties like this anymore anyway. Too many fights. I remember when nightclubs and strip clubs were 18+. That day is pretty much, long gone, some places are bringing it to 25+ because of problems with stupid people.
He was clueless and oblivious to what was going on around him. I believe he always meant well but was heavily influenced/corrupted by Harris and Mauser.

Captain Harris obviously felt that slap. Though funny he didn't rub his cheek. Ah, well movie slaps. The guy just stands there after the woman slaps him, doesn't even think of slapping back. In real life, I have seen it, the guy hits back. Also, in movie the guy gets slapped by a woman, and you'd think it doesn't hurt or sting. Guy never starts rubbing his face. Guess that's why it's called movie magic. Must not be a real slap at all.
Damn, every single time I see that blonde bar girl...I'm losing myself in her eyes, I really wish I'd knew who her exactly is, because Hollywood is so full of good looking people and it's unlikely she hasn't got another movie job! And to the song there is nothing you can cry about because it's superb. That song always gets you going with your full body!

Proctor should've known better than to throw an alcoholic drink at Harris's hat considering that alcohol intensifies fire. Add to the fact that he did that instead of telling him that his hat was on fire makes him an even bigger idiot.
