The plan is to move in as I'm just staying at my moms house while I work on this. Let me tell you, I'm ready to move. ;) I'll probably move in once I get the roof, outside wall paneling, and subfloor in.
It is looking good I was just thinking since it is 2x6 doubling up would give a little more support either way it is a lot of hard and time consuming work I commend you for taking on such a big task good luck
Glad to help. That's the main reason I'm doing these video's as I've been helped by other channels video's on all the things I like to do so it's how I can pay it forward. I actually liked the original layout so I'm keeping it the same other than making a couple windows a little larger. I'll probably put an island in the kitchen too, and a walk in shower over a tub in the main bath. Thanks!

Why don't you just sister new floor joist boards up against the old joist instead of taking them out if they aren't really bad just curious
