this is a story I made about Cleetus on Christmas eve! I hope you enjoy 😊 Cleetus waddled to the forest, the snow delicately fell to the ground. He came across a cabin made of logs. Cleetus sighed, relieved that he could have somewhere to stay. Cleetus stuck his hands In his back pockets. There was a small click, click sound. ‘ ‘ Thank goodness I took this shotgun.. who knows what could happen out here In the woods..‘ ‘ Cleetus walked to the cabin, his boots crunching In the snow. He tapped his knuckles on the door. As the knob wiggled, Cleetus felt a shiver go down his spine. May It be the weather, or, something else, It was NOT a pleasant feeling. Cleetus, about to leave, spun around, and gave an exaggerated eye roll. Just then, the door swung open, a gush of wind flew by Cleetus. ‘ ‘ Oh, look at that..‘ ‘ A voice said behind him. Cleetus pivoted, and raised a brow. ‘ ‘ A guest. Come In, come In. Nobody should be outside In this weather. ‘ ‘ The stranger waved Cleetus Inside the cabin, and smiled warmly. He was a very plump man, with a large beard. He wore large, hand-me-downs, with a scarf wrapping around his neck...Necks...Yeah, neck. The stranger pulled out a seat for Cleetus, a warm smile spread across his face. Cleetus sat, and wiggled. ‘ ‘ So, what’s your name, sonny? ‘ ‘ The man asked Cleetus, sliding on his oven mitts. Cleetus puffed out his chest, and lifted his hat from his face. ‘ ‘ The names Cleetus. ‘ ‘ Cleetus responded, Crossing his arms to add dramatic affect. ‘ ‘ Oh, Cleetus..Huh? ‘ ‘ The man mumbled, eyeing Cleetus. He tilted his head. ‘ ‘ Do I know you, son? ‘ ‘ He said, pulling out a pie from the oven, setting It on the counter. As the bearded stranger said the word: ‘ ‘ Son. ‘ ‘ To Cleetus, he felt a warmth shoot threw his body. ‘ ‘ I feel we’ve seen each other once before.. ‘ ‘ The man added. They paused. ‘ ‘ Haha, or, that’s just me and my old, grandpa memory.. ‘ ‘ The man walked to the table, offering a plate of warm apple pie. It was steaming, and smelled scrumptious. ‘ ‘ My fathers recipe. Passed It on to me before he...‘ ‘ .. ‘ ‘ You should get some food In your system. Really. You look exhausted.. ‘ ‘ He added, carefully wrapping his scarf around Cleetus. ‘ ‘ In the meantime, I’ll play some tunes, any requests? ‘ ‘ The man said, picking up his guitar. ‘ ‘ Hm..Have you heard the song Earthworm sally? ‘ ‘ Cleetus questioned, shoveling pie Into his mouth. ‘ ‘ Earthworm sally? ‘ ‘ The man said, tipping back In his rocking chair. He chuckled. ‘ ‘ Of course, It’s a real banger around here. ‘ ‘ He strummed his guitar. ‘ ‘ Call me Buck. ‘ ‘ Buck tipped his hat to Cleetus, and hummed “Eathworm sally” tune. His humming slowly evolved to singing. ‘ ‘ It’s Earthworm sally. Carrying diseases from Florida to Cali! ‘ ‘ They both joyfully sung together, Cleetus humming the chorus In the back. They both erupted into a fit of laughter, Buck settled himself down, and sat up, leaning his guitar against the rocking chair. He slid Cleetus a cup of eggnog. ‘ ‘ Wash that pie down, eh, sonny? ‘ ‘ Buck said, pouring himself some eggnog, too. ‘ ‘ Bottoms up. ‘ ‘ Buck lifted his glass, and nodded his head. Cleetus held his tum, and pushed his empty plate to the end of the table. ‘ ‘ I can’t eat another bite of that pie.. ‘ ‘ He sighed. ‘ ‘ Eheheh, glad you like It, kiddo. ‘ ‘ Buck said, patting Cleetus on the head, before walking toward the door, and hanging his hat on the hanger. He raised his rather fluffy brows. ‘ ‘ Wow, almost midnight. Look at that..‘ ‘ Buck put his hand on the bridge of his nose, and sniffed. ‘ ‘ You can’t go out, you must stay the night. ‘ ‘ He reared his head back. ‘ ‘ No, no, don’t want to Intrude..‘ ‘ Cleetus said, getting up, and pushing In his chair. Buck did not know why, but felt like he must protect Cleetus with his life. ‘ ‘ Bah, I got a guest room I’ve been waiting to put to use to...I don’t know how long. ‘ ‘ He chuckled, squeezing Cleetus’s shoulder. Cleetus smiled, rubbing his eyes. ‘ ‘ If you Insist. ‘ ‘ Cleetus yawned. ‘ ‘ Down the hall, to your left. ‘ ‘ Buck said, picking up the dirty dishes. Cleetus nodded. ‘ ‘ Thank you, Buck, sir. ‘ ‘ He walked down the hall, twisting the knob to the room. ‘ ‘ Cleetus collapsed onto the soft cushioning, and wrapped himself In the comforter. Buck walked Inside, and lit the candles next to Cleetus. ‘ ‘ Night, sonny. ‘ ‘ Buck smiled. Cleetus fell fast asleep, his hat falling onto the floor. Buck smiled, and rubbed Cleetus’s forehead. He turned to the cabinet, opening a drawer, and taking a small box out. Buck shed a tear, and took a small picture frame of him, much younger, holding a baby boy, with his beloved wife next to him. i made this story at like 2:00am and had to sleep, so e ‘ ‘ Brother Cleetus, Brother Cleetus! ‘ ‘ A small boy shook Cleetus awake, tearing off the blankets. ‘ ‘ It’s Christmas, get up, get up, get UP! ‘ ‘ The boy said, prancing around the room. Cleetus sat up, and blinked his eyes open. ‘ ‘ Huh? Billy? Little brother?... ‘ ‘ Cleetus reached out a hand, but, It was almost like he was invisible. Suddenly, Billy stopped, and stared at Cleetus. ‘ ‘ Why did you leave me, Cleetus..Was It me? ‘ ‘ The boy said. The room seemed to be spin, and time felt like It froze. ‘ ‘ No, Brother Billy! That’s not It- ‘ ‘ Cleetus cried, getting up. Cleetus rushed to Little Billy, wrapping his arms around his little brother. But then, Billy just faded away Into nothing but mist. ‘ ‘ Come back to us, Big brother.. ‘ ‘ His voice echoed around the room.

Cleetus has never been the fittest man, but his weight gain became much more noticeable after eating those who he hunted. As every second goes by, Cleetus becomes more, and more insane...
