Raulo dying and being avenged by Albert after SpongeBob voluntarily died is one of the best scenes in all of flamingo. SpongeBobs redemption is probably one of my favorite parts.

This is an amazing video. Good plot, good antagonist, good protagonists, horror, sadness, betrayal. This is cinematic. There is a light-hearted funniness of Albert, about to be mean to Raulo, but then getting to like him and wanting to protect him. His and Raulo’s relationship is one sided, as Raulo is just a kind person while Albert feels he needs to protect him. Looming over the game is SpongeBob, the antagonist. He wins everything fast and kills without mercy. Anytime he goes into a death challenge, he always says, “You Lose.” The simplicity of those two words and the fact that he never loses and that you cannot see him when he kills his opponent is terrifying. SpongeBob is quiet until he needs to talk. And when he does, it is always chilling. As the game goes on, tension builds between SpongeBob and Albert. SpongeBob has won every single thing so far, and it feels like there is no hope for Albert. It is as though Albert is just eating for the time that SpongeBob kills him next. Nearing the end of the game there are only 3 players. Raulo, Albert, and SpongeBob. In the challenge, Albert is not able to compete, and Albert is just hoping that Raulo will win, even though there is no use. SpongeBob sends Raulo and Albert to the death match. Albert, a mean person that has a soft side for Raulo and believes he should protect Raulo, against Raulo, a kind hearted person. During the death match, Albert has to push the button many times to win, but in doing so will kill Raulo. As we see Raulo’s bar go lower and lower, we realize his time is up and will be taken from Albert trying to live. We finally see Raulo’s bar finish and see an unknown giant entity grab Raulo and take him into the darkness, presumably to be eaten. The screams of Albert and Raulo looking at Albert, makes this scene so cinematic. After Albert emerges from the death challenge, he is heartbroken and his hopes are even lower, but has a flaming rage against SpongeBob for making him kill Raulo. This rage against SpongeBob makes the tension in the game even higher, as it is only SpongeBob and Albert left. As SpongeBob and Albert lower into the final challenge, SpongeBob does something nobody would even think he would do. He contradicts his usual saying and says, “You win.” Immediately after he says that, he sacrifices himself, leaving only Albert. Albert is left confused, and wins the challenge, escaping while thinking about SpongeBob and Raulo. Albert has won, but now has to mourn for Raulo, and live with the burden of SpongeBob and Raulo’s death.
