These demons look like they would take my soul, but only with a legally binding and valid contract. And they would serve me tea, or a Gin Rickey afterward.
The sequence that starts a little after 3:09 when the little monster runs into the jagged wall legit surprised me. Usually the animations for this time stayed away from hard angles so that was really ambitious. It kind of felt like this cartoon inspired the 'robot' dance too lol
It's strange to think that before the advent of TV's widespread use as a kind of a mid-day babysitter for America's children, cartoons were generally aimed at both kids and adults (who were all in the theatre watching together).

The Devil really looks similer to the other Devil in Cuphead but the Devil's horns are short then the other Devil's horns are long wait a minute that could be Devil's dad with the short horns when his son's dad takes place yo know the Devil with long horns is gonna take place X>
This is where cuphead got its devil from most of the stuff in that game was inspired from old classic cartoons like a character from swing you sinner was what the got the flower bosses animation from where he is moving his hands back and forth

The moral of this story: don't bite the hand that feeds you. I think.......lol
Naw, the moral was *do* bite the hand that feeds you...to Cerberus. lol
Ain't no moral to this. Disney just wanted to scare the shit out of their audience of kids 😆
I thought it said don't eat the brown acid.
man, even the devil isn't in full control of hell
Kind of the idea of hell.
lol
I mean hell was made for satan and angels who follow him, he doesn't rule hell like people think. I don't even know how that myth came about?

The makers of Cuphead actually got the devil battle from this cartoon, like the devil and the mini demons, inspired them with the battle idea
and also doesn't the devil have a spider attack in the first phase?
Same With The Cuphead Show

Well that’s what happens when you sell your soul
I grew up on these cartoons, and it's amazing how cuphead has brought these back to the light of media
Well, Cuphead fans is a huge disgrace to old cartoons despite it's a great game that I never played before.
I find these old cartoons strangely comforting in tough times-always have . Takes you away .
I love how they use the violin and 🎻 and other instruments as a way of talking and reaction between the Big Devil and the little demon .4:52-4:59
