I like this, it's a little rough but very good, but there's one specific combination of lines I was hoping to hear but didn't. MOTI: "Gaze upon me, do you fear me-" Edo: "There is no more time to be scared." I can't help but feel like that'd be _perfect._ Just a thought though.
GOD. DAYUM. Why does this literally _whip?_ MOTI's vocals go perfectly with GaMetal's instrumentals, and I loved the fact that you included Edobean's vocals as well (btw, probably the best way I could've found out about her). I get that Edobean was probably going for Ribbon's POV, but this sounds like a duet between 02 and Kirby during the final battle and I am living for it. I see what some of the other commenters meant by the audio mixing at the end being a bit rough, but tbh I kinda liked the effect. It sounded like Ribbon/Kirby/whoever was providing the main vocals with 02 harmonizing. I might've raised the volume on 02 at the end just a _bit,_ though. 9/10, putting in my underrated songs playlist.
I remember there being a zero two remix that opens with AH AH (guitar riff) and continuing that way with the AHs. Can't find it anymore, but I think it'd go well with this.
This is really good as a poof of concept, but it does have issues. In my opinion MOTI is overused here, yet he’s also heavily cut up and alot of his lines are repeated. You could’ve included more of Edobean and reduced the repetition, since MOTI is the longer cover. For example: you cut away from MOTI after the “everything will fall to zero” line, but the verse after that is the high point of MOTIs cover. By having that verse split up across the remainder of the song your lessening the impact Zeros speech about not being able to dream. I really like the ending, but as the other comment said the audio balancing let it down, because your combining the lousiest and most impactful part of Edos cover with a more subdued Moti section. I think the ending should’ve had Edobean as the dominant vocal, with shorter MOTI samples mixed in.
I like to imagine that Zero Two and Ribbon are both singing this while fighting. It’s TENSE. Could use some fixing up though. Zero Two’s voice is a bit to quiet in this version and I will admit the Man on the Internet version is used a bit more then the GAMetal version. Nothing against Alex’s version, I personally like it more then the GAMetal version but I’m here for a balance of the MOTI version and GAMetal version. Give this thing a remake and fix the problems I touched on as well the problems other people may have said and this would be perfect.
