What a fantastic video,it is beautiful in the peak district , you were very brave in shorts , but you made it up and took some nice insta photos..and had yummy cream tea..we once had so much mist and fog when we climbed up haytor in dartmoor,we got up in sunshine, down in heavy fog ,and it was an adventure ...i recoment dartmoor it's beautiful with the wild dartmoor ponies and sheep.greetings from hamburg 😃
We’ve driven through Dartmoor but never stopped to explore on foot, we must do that at some point! No hike is complete without a delicious reward at the end 😋
You lads should always bring your wellies , when you go on hikes , for all the mud. That misty forest , might have been home to some fairy’s 🧚 🧚♀️ 🧚 , they tend be very shy though. 😉 Your crème tea 🫖, looked rather lovely, it must have hit the spot, after your long trek. ❤
Really appreciate that you took the time to send me the link to the video. Also awesome - the fact that you respond to messages despite having nearly 9 THOUSAND subscribers! Thanks! And I'm glad you enjoyed the peak district despite the weather! That's part of the charm really! Though, I took some pictures here today, and omg, it's wonderful! Good luck on your channel!
Thank you. We like to respond to as many comments as we possibly can and will continue to do so as we appreciate people making the effort to comment. We loved the hike and you are spot on, everywhere has a different charm in different weathers. Yes we’d have love blue skies and sunshine but the fog definitely made it a special and atmospheric experience.
I would love to visit the Peak District someday. As a bonus, you guys dont have mountain lions and rattlesnakes to worry about. Hell, I want to move to the UK just for that reason alone.
All of great places all close by youve got derwent reservoir were the dambusters 617 Squadron used the practice in WW2 and the other way you have Stanage Edge were you can find Robin Hoods cave high in cliff .
Best purchase I made for hiking (except good boots) was a pair of hiking trousers that turn in to shorts when you unzip the legs. The Peak District is lovely, isn't it?
Pack some thin windproof over trousers in your backpack . I can hear it now " Did you see those two inappropriately dressed southerners wearing shorts for hiking?". Can i suggest a pair of shorts half a size to a size bigger?(no offence meant) 😂.
PS Josh is looking younger with that hair style .. And you're going to have to get some hiking boots for these treks in the mud .. You better get a GPS so you don't get lost .. People go missing all the time on hikes 😮
Have you been to the English Lake District in Cumbria yet? if not you should go there too.
Not yet but it is high on our list 😊

😂 it definitely hit the spot for sure 👌
What an incredible view! How long does it take to climb?
We didn’t time it but it must have been somewhere between an hour and an hour and a half.

I guess we take for granted how great it is to take a hike and not have to worry about mountain lines and rattlesnakes 😂
Yeah no bears or wolves chasing you!

Thanks for the recommendations 👍🏻
You earned your cream tea after that hike and very nice it looked to. 🍻
It definitely was a great reward 😍

Oh they sound like a great idea. We will have to investigate! It really is a beautiful place.
