Synopsis:
Cheng Shao Shang is a young girl who was forced to grow up alone after most of her family had to leave to fight in a bloody war. Thus she becomes stubborn and untrusting. She fends for herself in a town populated by people like her, who have been left behind by the war.
One day, a talented and powerfu general named Ling Bu Yi comes to the town - and falls in love with her at first sight. He resolves to marry her, even though it will cause him no end of problems if he decides to pursue this union. She also warns him that she doesn’t trust him, and that her stubborn personality might not be suitable for the wife of a general. But Ling Bu Yi also has deep secrets, and there are facts about his true identity that even he does not know. I just finished watching The Long Ballad, but I think the chemistry between Leo Wu and Zhao Lusi in this series is still the best.
This was the scene! the director wanted her to kiss him right away and she was like I should kiss him in the forehead first. Hehe

This drama is a masterpiece!! I don’t know how they managed to turn every single scene they have together romantic! Hostage situation? Romantic. Pulling out an arrow from his body - romantic! I literally swooned when he escorted her family into the city! I am so sad it’s finished. No drama is interesting to me now. Such a hard act to follow.

@@vibhagupta5417 okay so Love Between Fairy and Devil is nothing like this but I REALLY enjoyed Dylan Wang in it. I was never his fan but omg he’s 🔥 in it. The female lead took a while to warm up to but if you keep in mind that she’s supposed to be average, mediocre and a tad annoying she’s okay! Give it a try!! Oh and if you haven’t watched already - Who Rules the World was also very good!

I loved that she didn't speak of her love like it's unconditional. He has earned it and she has freely given it to him but he can also wipe out that choice with his actions.

@@artisinsimplethings2155 Yep, the character will be missed. I loved that his presence allowed her to be wholly the woman she became. The other two suitors could not have helped in her growth to that extent. A great partner doesn't "complete you" but helps on your journey to be whole.

He visto a Leo en otros dos dramas y transmite mucho con sus ojos, especialmente en The Long Ballad. He estado viendo dramas asiáticos durante unos dos años y he descubierto que la mayoría de los actores masculinos pueden expresar mucha profundidad emocional con sus ojos. Descubrí que eso también es cierto con los cantantes masculinos asiáticos. No sé si estás familiarizado con BTS, pero en la canción Pied Pipper, Jungkook realmente muestra un excelente ejemplo de transmitir emociones con los ojos. Gracias por tu comentario. The dutiful Ling Buyi is never wrong. Nevertheless not everything is achievable and he must feel the weight of this true fact. So to navigate and endure to lose his fiance is a choice life forced him to choose. I am Glad God was merciful and gave him a second chance.
The musical scores throughout this drama adds so much to the feelings behind each scene. It brings out the depth of emotions the actors are portraying flawlessly. So Romantic in this one.❤❤❤

Creo que esta es la mejor escena de todos los dramas. Retrata muy bien los sentimientos de ambos esta conversación. Ella le dice que si el no la deja ella no lo dejará, así que su amor tiene esa condición, lo que para mí es mucho mejor que otros dramas en los que la protagonista lo sigue ciegamente sin importar lo que haga. Try watching The Rebel Princess….it’s my favorite Chinese Drama. It’s different in many aspects - Not as much comedy, and much more intrigue & scheming. It’s more of a mature drama, but for me, not any less outstanding.
I like this drama more for the Emperor, the Empress & Consort…..they are hysterical, especially the Emperor. I also just finished watching Love Between Fairy & Devil. It was “ok” but entertaining in parts. I warn you though, the FL talks like a four year old toddler through the majority of it & the costumes are cheesy, but I did think that the storyline was a very good one. Blessings!!!!

Leo Wu is exceptional, rare diamond as actor and man, but he should improve his kissing technique on screen. I know, he plays a general, military man, but still... he can't just stay immobilized with his lips pushed to Lusi's lips. Such a good actor, come on! The story is mesmerizing, so strong and detailed, I cried a lot for days apparently for no reason: I was so much under the effect. Lusi is brilliant, beautiful, intelligent, talented, so credible in everything she does. I hope she finds happiness in life though it's not easy for strong woman like her.

Me encanto la serie, excelente la mejor q he visto, el final falto un poco, el beso que se dieron muy fome y poco real, ojala una segunda temporada , donde se xasen los hijos y las aventuras de ello, me gusto que la familia de ella fuera a ayudarla... los actores independiente del beso tenían mucha complicidad en sus miradas, ... 2da temporada.

Lo que si te puedo decir es que vi varios clips de detrás de cámara y ambos actores se sentían incómodos en la escena de besos. Más él, ella en esa parte tiene más experiencia la verdad
@@sanllyestrella7947 tienen experiencia ...?🤔 creo que lo que no existe es química entre ellos dos.también es mi opinión que los dos deben tomar clases de actuación en cuanto escenas románticas se refiere porque no se entregan como se requiere y no transmiten ninguna emoción y es lamentable porque esta serie desde el 2021 la estábamos esperando con ansias y realmente NO SUPERA mis espectativas,, por ejemplo en Long Balad el que hizo el protagonico con Dilbara el beso apasionado con ella nunca lo fue ..me consta que Dilbara actúa muy bien esas escenas así que pienso que es el que no puede con esas escenas, también con ella Zhao Lusi es la misma historia en who rules de World pasó lo mismo ,Yan yan es bueno en estas escenas ella no. A lo mejor tal vez pasa esto porque son muy jovenes los dos...pero "OJO" ELLA ES UNA DE LAS ACTRIZES CHINAS DEL MOMENTO,pero creo que los productores no se han dado cuenta que están echando a perder una serie por un simple beso bien dado o bien actuado.y eso es lamentable los dos tienen que cambiar en ese aspecto.... que opinan es cierto o no.?
