He didn't cut turn 1. His left wheels are on the track on entry and he just about rides the limit on the exit. It's the perfect line. You can't turn off penalties or tune your car to do this time trial so I'm not sure why you think he's going too fast. Maybe because it's in kilometres rather than miles.
