  • Is an American folkstyle and freestyle wrestler and coach. Considered to be one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, Smith is a two-time NCAA Division I national champion, and a six-time world level champion with two Olympic Championships and four World Wrestling Championships. Until October 2021, Smith had won more World and Olympic gold medals in wrestling than any other American. During the 2021 World Wrestling Championships in Oslo, Norway both Jordan Burroughs and Adeline Gray tied his record.
    Smith attended Oklahoma State University, where he competed in folkstyle wrestling. At Oklahoma State University, he became an NCAA Division I national runner-up, and a two-time national champion. Smith's college career record was 154-7-2.

    I keep showing John smith matches to my wrestlers and their duck unders and low singles have never worked better. Every coach should be making their guys watch film of legends. It pays off

    those hop-over turns with the legs stacked are ridiculous. also the arm drag at 1:05 is just cold.

      That's a Jap Whizzer just an fyi if you wanted to learn it or something. The sequence that starts at around 1:40 and ends with Smith crowding in and running him over has to be my favorite of the video.
