All my life I've always said that "I don't have an alltime favorite song and it varies pretty much every week". After countless years trying to find the perfect song from across pretty much all genres and subgenres imaginable, I think this one is it. This is my favorite song. Thank you.
This song makes a "riding in the train on a rainy night" soundtrack. I love the nu gaze-y, new wave-y feel of the song. I have always loved the aural landscapes Akira and Tadashi makes in their epic songs... in this one, the textures are subtle and does not cascade into an epiphany moment or a sudden explosion of emotions but beautiful in a quiet way, nonetheless. A friend and I is discussing how this song could be really radio friendly. I don't think it's a bad thing. =)

I watched them play at Tokyo Dome City Hall last week and it was so perfect. They played this song and I was so immensely happy because it was the first time I heard them play this. Actually, in interviews they stated they wanted to mix something natural with something artificial, hence Plastic Tree. Afterwards not long ago they said that because they are a Plastic Tree, which is something that never withers, they shall go on.
Definitely sounds different from their other songs but it still retains that wonderful, wistful Plastic Tree style. Love it! And Kenken's polka-dot cardigan has to be the best thing ever. XD
