I was an engineer in MAHLE engine compartment Japan (MECJ). I got kicked out from previous CAE engineer position by ex-manager’s unfair evaluation of performance in March last year and was pushed into a harmful manual labor in the horrible electroplating factory.
Diversity and Inclusion??? Are they serious??? I’m a condition of ADHD but its HR manger told me there are no workplaces which accept my condition except “wiping boxes”. And he also said the downsizing is headquarters’ command. In this company I believe it is Robot-like people who are well-evaluated because they could be conformists to their bosses and board members even though they aren’t able to understand English at all. Diversity cannot be required there, rather it could be definitely a major disadvantage. If still the headquarters want to advertise the slogan,hopefully I would like to request them to investigate what happens in MECJ.
The personals here lack a consciousness of a risk of hexavalent chromium(chrome 6) at all. My former senior there handled the solution by his hands without any protectors. The line workers put poor protectors. I claimed the fact to a supervisor and a HSE. But it was 3 months later when they responded reluctantly. (But still nothing changes.) After that I got harassed because I was told to do wiping-oily-boxes task in “Banishment Room”. I got extremely disappointed with this company.

私は2016年4月に第二新卒で技術系総合職として入社し、最初の約3年間は、埼玉の技術センター勤務でした。私は理系大学院卒にも拘らず、初期配属先は、私以外現場上がり社員しかいない体育会系部署で、不慣れな現場作業(ピストンの切断加工作業)を命じられ、その手際が悪いと上長や先輩に毎日激詰めされました。その結果、私は心療内科に通う事になり、そこでADHDが判明しました。1年半後、ようやく本意のCAE(コンピュータ解析)部署に異動し、私は自主的にプログラミングでExcel作業やCAEソフトの自動化や業務の工夫・改善を試みました。しかし部長は、私の本試みを一切理解せず、逆に従来通りのルーティン手作業が出来ていないという事で、私はずっと最低評価でした。また英語評価も、社内TOEICの平均点が400点の中、805点なのに、何故か前部署時代からずっと最低評価でした。
本状況のため、2020年1月、私が当部長に直談判を行うと、2月末に突如、「4月から福島平田工場の六価クロム(発がん性物質)工場で、メッキ液分析の現場作業」を命じられました。この際人事部長は、「ADHDのあなたには、企画職よりも工場作業の方が向いている」と仰いました。
そこは大変酷い労働衛生環境で、「六価クロム液を素手で扱う分析作業の指導役先輩」や、「メッキ液がびちゃびちゃ飛び散る作業なのに、化学防護服の代わりに布エプロン着用で、その下の作業服はまっ茶色のライン作業員」のいる有様でした。そしてそんな彼らは、現場事務所や食堂だけでなく、社外の人と接触する出退勤時も全身茶色塗れでした。さらに六価クロム塗れの作業服は、自宅洗濯のルールでした。(または有料業者使用。)
本事項を鶴岡本社HSEに内部通報しても、コロナを理由に一向に福島に来ず、耐えきれず労働基準監督署に告発すると、翌日から倉庫片隅でビールケースサイズの通い箱を一日中、ボロ布で拭く仕事になりました。
もちろん、技術職復職に向けて人事部や役員方と数か月間直談判し、当初は、「次の定例人事異動に載せてあげる」という話だったのに、結局、「ADHDのあなたを理解してくれる部署は他にない。また、ドイツ本社からの総合職の人員削減命令で、各部門長が頭を抱えている。よって現状維持です。」と白紙撤回されました。
なお、障害を理由に社員をこのように取り扱う事は、「障害者雇用促進法」で禁止されています。

Chromium 6 is very toxic, you should report this to your Government.
