I wanted to paint on this awesome piece of wood I got in Colorado when I was visiting Steve Ross !

Ross has inspired so many people to paint, so nothing wrong with remembering and honouring him now and then. As an artist I can appreciate the fact that you make no secret of the people that influenced your painting style.

This painting is beautiful and it looks really good on the wood. They do look like happy little clouds. I don’t understand why anyone would be worried about painting in the Bob Ross style, we all fell in love with painting because of him. I watched Steve do his dad’s show over and over since he was a kid and he is as good as his father and I can’t wait to see his new show. Thank you Kathy

That was a fun one! My first try at a palette knife and not really sure what you did to load it. I guessed. I ended up with mountains any way, lol. I love your videos. You definitely inspired me to give it a try (as always).
Great painting once again you always are great to watch and get excited every time I see a new post from you. I enjoy painting on things beside canvas as well. Been doing a bunch on old vinyl records lately. Nice surprise to see Steve at the beginning of the video and then again at the end he has big shoes to fill because of his father. Even tho it’s nice to see the ross legacy and know he is doing well I enjoy watching your videos for you.

Did you seal that wood with PVA size first so the oils don’t eventually rot through the wood over time?
