Moving to NSB August 1st from SoCal. Is this a normal day or one of the better days? When you said 5’ and you drive hours to get there I got to admit I was hoping for more. Please tell me there’s better surf to be found!!!
Epic!!! Nsb is super consistent, but down south only breaks on big north swells, Hurricanes, And groundswell. The report was calling for 5 to 6 foot that day when we got there it dropped to 5 foot but obviously the way they measure waves out west like Hawaii compared to Florida is a totally different scale
@@oceaninlet we just got back from checking out neighborhoods a couple weeks ago. I was happy to see rideable surf daily. Although definitely log/funboard most days. The winds were onshore everyday. Is there certain times of the year the winds turn offshore or is it pretty rare?
This has been a very odd fall I think we’re going into a El Niño summer or something, also the sea turtles laid their eggs far up in the sand this time so I think we’re going to have a good hurricane season
The break north side of the inlet is called “pump house”… if you were south of the inlet it’s “reef rd”
Thanks bro yeah we know just the title has a picture different then the label
Yep need some kind of watercraft there....parking at the Publix is no fun
