It drives me crazy realizing that as a kid Bareum held himself back and did not give in to his bloodlust. As you grow older you’re more in control of your actions than you are as a kid who is still learning to tell right from wrong. But he controlled himself to an extent as a kid. And as an adult it just went to shit. I genuinely believe that if he was in a better environment and got the right treatment and therapy, he wouldn’t have turned out a serial killer. He had no emotions or empathy and yet he could respond positively to sincere kindness and affection (like we saw when he met Yohan as a kid). If he wasn’t constantly reminded that he shouldn’t be alive, he wouldn’t have loathed himself even more and as a result hurt others.
It’s a drama at the end of the day but just thinking about the possibility makes me sad.
They baited him into killing for their benefit.. they wanted him to kill and as a psychopath he did what anybody else would have done...
This was a good show. I told my husband that it was like the Usual Suspect. Well only because us viewers judged the book by the cover and got it wrong. They made us empathize with the lead by showing us his backstory and also inserted his mother in to trick us. It was amazing how everyones paths had crossed in the past too. Way to go writers.

The insane part was that we all have considered him as the psychopath then the screen writer took that away and appeared it again and then we all found out that he actually was.
