Prelude is my favourite intro to any slipknot album. The end part where Corey’s screaming ‘Noooooo!!’ Repeatedly is so intense and leads perfectly into The Blister Exists. 🤘🖤
Hahahahaha. "Intense" my ass. let's face facts: Corey's screaming lost its intensity after "Iowa" and he just barely started to get it back on .5
@The Stig false. Go back and listen to .5 and make sure to listen very carefully.
@@tylergray2506 you try making a album as heavy as Iowa and doing a world tour. Then come back and tell me how you feel
Bro, the first scream of Vermilion gives me goosebumps, it's so acute. Idk how he could reach that point but it's awesome
Tortilla man 1:02:51
R Miranda who do u think that is

I love you !
666Gehenna was this footage taken for the nameless video?
@@andibirta9776 This camera, probably not. I believe The Nameless video was made up of footage from a number of different shows put together from footage shot by the band and their crew while on tour. Almost like a condensed music video version of Voliminal.
They must have a lot of energy to play that many songs
The nameless is so fantastic live, miss chris so much 😭
No one:
Camera man: films the ceiling
Man this video is legitimately important to me. I've been trying for years to find a full video from this tour. I was 13. I went to the Cleveland stop of this tour. First show I was allowed to go to without my parents and just my older brother. Favorite band then and now. Fantastic. This is awesome.
Me too! I saw this tour in Columbus at a far, far, far too young age with my dad and managed to get backstage, met a couple of the guys. My dad saw this tour in Cincinnati as well (on his own, I believe) and really fucked himself up trying to get a better view. Good times!
this was the exact show i was at. i was 14. this was in my hometown and dude, same . nostalgia af. ♥
getting notifications from your channel is like christmas morning
This was my very first concert. I was on the floor like 30 feet from the stage. I couldn’t hear anything for two days.
jose jaime lmao. Must have been a great experience
Riley Murphy it was awesome. Shadows fall opened then lamb of god killed it then slipknot destroyed the show.
Thats why you wear earplugs to metal shows
My first knot show too man. It was fucking Brilliant
It would be great if this person recording wasn’t so damn interested in the stage lights all the time!!
Damn Fresno is so loud
Another piece of history of SlipKnoT. Thank you so much for uploading this. Much love.
This is my video. I am the one who filmed this. One of my first shows back when I started filming. I still have the MASTER tape.
His vocals were sooo weird in this era, I'm glad that he sounds the way he does on the current tour!
Thanks to that mask that used to squeeze Corey's jaw, he said it hurt awfully and wouldn't allow him to sing normally
ZzergRusher I thought he just wanted to change his screams? Because Come whatever May his screams are sound like vol3 screams
@@braindeadrichard Couple of reasons he sounds like this. His voice was shot at this point just watch final concerts from Stone Sour before they went to record Vol 3 and his scream sounds bad so I assume this led to him changing it for Vol 3 and CWM. Also the mask he wore during this era made him sound like this too.
I just saw them in San Bernardino and it was awesome his vocals are brutal
I heard he was trying to stop drinking (which was making his scream during the self-titled and Iowa period so hard and brutal) and so he was learning how to scream again during the recording of Vol. 3 and some of the recordings were painful and stuff.
Never heard about the whole mask dilemna though
My god I was there. Stuck up in the back row in 2005, started clapping until my friend at the time reminded me were watching Slipknot. Live. I began screaming and head banging thusly. And god damn when that drum solo began and he was lifted… I can’t begin to define nor explain the raw energy everyone was producing. This was one helluva ride and will never forget.
I can still remember an interview in 2004 on the German channel Viva. There, Corey said he had broken his vocal cords in late 2002. A voice tape would even be completely ripped. Only years later in 2008 he said he wanted to try something new with his voice.
Can you give me the Links?
Sounds like we’ll never know the truth. It’s just odd, because all of the Iowa era shows his voice sounded so powerful, it didnt seem like his voice was being worn out. During the self titled era it definitely sounded like he was struggling and hurting his voice though. Maybe it was the alcoholism that damaged his throat
lovesgibson I would say a combination of a lot of things.
Going hard as hell which he still does to a degree. His troubles with alcohol and drugs, the frequent touring which didn’t get better once he and Jim re-debuted Stone Sour into the fray and yeah. Age to a degree also.
I love the energy on this era, but corey vocals and the percussion sound was very bad
On percussion I agree but that could just be because of the general sound quality or the location.
I believe Corey's voice definitely wasn't optimal for Iowa and self-titled songs but (maybe because I'm biased cos I like the subliminal verses album a whole lot and they only recently released it) I do feel like subliminal verses songs were at their greatest and never got better. Both Vermilion verses and Duality were so well done, it's insane (the rest was amazing too but those truly stood out to me).
@@mikahguitar I wish just for the experience, listen to the songs on vol3 with the ahig vocals and production of the wanyk, would be insane
@@hudsonvasconcelos3237 I have, followed them around on videos during their festival tour in 2009. That was the Slipknot peak, but I still think subliminal verses never peaked in terms of quality of live performance after 2005
this was corey's vocals at his peak. he changed his screams after this tour and album.
the subliminal verses tour was definitely sic.
I live in Fresno now 2015-present... wish I could’ve been here for this! Come back!!!!!!!! #559
i was there ! i cant believe i found this! i was 14 years old
Hah yea I was there too. My senior year of high school.. I was afraid they’d cheap up the production cause it was Fresno but they didnt. U still live in fresno?
I'm very happy that you started uploading again! Thanks for all the amazing content and keep up the good work!
Didn’t even know Selland arena could hold that many fans
it was packed !!!!
They need to come back to Fresno!
Just saw then 2 days ago in Mountain View, and wow, his voice has improved
This sounds nothing like Pantera though haha X)
@@jeremyfoot8996 lol
I keep finding u on like half the videos I watch. Rock on brother
@@sagenator1272 thanks man, I get that a lot

Tobad it's far away and not up close we need up close videos from 2005 2004
Don't Get Close!
ahah i had.this dvd bootleg. you see the ceiling most of the time ahah . thanks anyway 👍
bro whoever is holding the camera man is as bad as school fight footage
Whoever recorded this was horrible. Watched more of the ceiling than the show. Oh well thanks for posting this.
Thank you sir for this upload I got to relive being 14 in the most intense concert I've ever been too still to this day
Great damn day in fresno
Never gonna forget this show
So glad I get to relive this again
How can 2005 already be classic? Omg this is amazing

So happy to have you back these days uploading content like this. Keep it up.
The reason for the shitty video camera work is I was trying to save battery and I didn’t have back up batteries with me. I was new to filming. Instead of using the lcd pop out screen I just had the camera on my lap to save battery life. I wasn’t always monitoring through the viewfinder when I was filming. It was one of my first shows I filmed. I definitely got more experienced and better at filming shows as time went on after this. It is what it is.
My favorite Slipknot era by far. I've been trying to collect every show in circulation from the vol3 tour and besides 3 shows I can say my collection will be complete. Only thing that I want to find some shows from this era which are uncirculated. So if anyone know someone or taped him/herself from this era just hit me up :)
Iam still dying to see the Melbourne Australia show from the subliminal verses dude you should pu th it up it would make my day
Do you have Slipknot Excel Energy Centre 2005, Minneapolis? And the Roy Wilkins Auditorium 2004 show? Both were in April I believe.
@@grannycocke9383 As far as I know there isn't a recording of the 2005 Minneapolis show but I have the 2004 st paul one.
Thanks for posting this! Saw them two days after in SAN JOSE, CA. still have a pick from Jim, and Chris' drum stick.
If someone bothered to tape this tour when it went through Columbus, for the love of god, get it out there! That show has big time sentimental value to me.
dude, i know. im so glad i found this. this was in my hometown, my first knot show. did not expect to find this online !
Can you upload Slipknot’s full Chicago show from 2001?
My first Slipknot concert. I took my nephew as a favor. Became a fan for life.
One of my favorite eras. I'm so glad you're back, man!
The nameless?!?!? :DDDDDD
and live in GOD Of metal 2000
I was hoping I’d see somebody in the comments with the songs and time but it’s ok 😭🤘🏽
There is. The person who uploaded this put it there. Its in comments.
inquisitor 717 thanks I appreciate it
This is gold.
You have some hungary show?
I was at this show ❤
no pyro :(
drunk camera manXD
The nameless ❤️❤️❤️
I can watchin live ar Peoria 2001!
best setup
Does anybody else remember the crowd tearing down the curtains before the opening or was my LSD kicking in too early?
Rick Rubin did them so good. Producing Subliminal vs. Coreys voice sounds amazing. The different samples. Etc. best work to date. My opinion
damn I was at this show. my first concert. I got one of Joey's drumsticks. it was the biggest concert memory of my life. I remember a guy even offered me 20 bucks for it haha.
RIP joey :(
I was a big Slipknot fan. I was on the floor right in the front. 15 years old lol RIP Joey Jordison #1
What do ya know: an actual Slipknot concert with decent audio quality. A helluva lot better than their australia concert you posted almost a week ago
Slipknot live in Melbourne and Tokyo and Thailand and Bangkok and Detroit? Soon I hope
