It is a very common trick in integral.We adjust outer function with square root function, s.t. derivative of function under integral sign equals to outer function.
It's a little different and non common
Guys you can do this in 2 mins by just understanding the options, you can see that power 3/2 , it on diff gives power 1/2 but the terms inside root cant be altered , so the whole root term in question and whole term inside power 3/2 in answer must be equal ........ substitute theta = pi/2 then only option b is correct....... but be careful and learn how to do it as in advance indirect questions can be asked ......................

I remember this question, my coaching sir basically told us whenever you see such long equations especially inside root with big powers in addition, there might be a way to substitute by adjusting the terms so definitely try these questions for 1-2 minutes eveb though the task might seem daunting, so i basically try these and till now all type of such similar questions are very solvable.
Main thing which is common about these questions is that when you let t, you'll see that every term would be getting the same coefficient, like how here that coefficient was 12.

put theeta equal to zero after opening denominator whole question become zero
Then put theeta 0 in option b
And get 4 marks free😊
This doesn't necessarily work because of the constant of integration.

Sir, ek suggestion hain Maine last Tak Kara par last me ap utna bada expression hain uska expansion karne ka zarurat nahi hai directly theta =0, pi/2 leke test karlo koi bhi option match nahi karega finally b ayega without any work. Just a suggestion

1-cos(theta)=2sin^(theta) and sin(theta).sin2(theta) ke saath kat jaega then put sin(theta)=t and cos(theta).d(theta)=-dt and at last a basic u-substituion by taking underoot term to be u with a t multiplied to it

Great video sir. I had one small suggestion in the end. The simplification to cosines is a tad bit too lengthy. If we just put theta=90° in the equation that has sines, and put the same in the options in the question, only B comes out with the value same as the first equation.
Even putting theta as 90 will take 2 to 3 mins
In converting to cos you just need to write that conversion step, then add the constants and it comes out to be 11 as in option b
+ there is risk that two options may have same value so you will have to end up doing conversations
putting 0 is better way

sir how did you get the thought to write t^2 as t*t
At the last no need to convert sin terms into cos, put theta=pi/2, the square bracket value becomes 11. Put same theta value in options and only one option matches that is option B since cos(pi/2)=0

@@kushaankoul5775 whenever u see any question of trignometric integration, the first step is to see what can be and what cant be simplified. most trig integrals can be solved with three methods, simplification, substitution or by parts. cant tell u which one which, you'll develop the feeling after solving 20-25 questions of each profile
Although the question itself is a little bit tricky , they couldve hid the rootx dx part better but anyways props to the question maker...!

Sir question was quiet tricky uses two variety of solving integrals . At last the answer came in the form of sin . Convert it into cos or we can answer it by putting any value of theta in our expression and the given options . The option which satisfies it is our correct answer

Did this in 1st try; Integration alone is too easy.
2min me solve karna hai omg.....
Sir the question scared me first but after I simplified it upto when you use t substitution. After that I take t common for the bracket and multiplied it in the root doing that gives me √(2t⁶+3t⁴+6t²) differentiation of this gives me bracket (12) bracket term. And then taking term inside the root u I get du and (u³/²)/(3/2) *1/6 is the ans. After watching your solution your my steps are same I am feeling very happy 😁😁😁 .
