As a huge fan of Jack Stauber and particularly the song John and Nancy, it was so cool to learn about all this stuff. I was absolutely shocked to find out you don't have more interaction with this! This is a well crafted video.

Here I go.
I always knew Jack has deep meanings on their songs, I mean, for a reason he keeps them confusing, hard to catch, but still, and *always* builds the exact and necessary emotions and feelings.
The fact that you had *THE LUCK TO LIVE* with all that information and just be that person that Jack always was pointing to.
It's what he always meant.
Jack Stauber, his heart, the passion under their songs full of capes of meanings. That's what he means.
He knew that John and Nancy were the ones to dedicate a song that, hopefully, they might barely hear.
But he knows at this point, that someone will just give the passion back, to find the meaning, and live calmly with it, but so soon? No one would expect it, not even him.
He dropped it's bags, to the floor, just to give a comfy handshake. He's just honest, as their songs are, on it's way.
This is another reason to point, how much he really takes care on little details, and knows how to measure it.
When he heard, that one of it's fans, knew John and Nancy, and did research a lot of information to come right in front of him, and tell everything. Is just what he really wanted, a passionated person.
Now thanks to you, Jack can sleep with the feeling that John and Nancy know how much he really greets them.
A noble heart. Jackie is one of my favorite favorite artists, and i get really excited when i see anything new from him. And this is another reason to love him even more, because details are the core of everything, no matter how tiny and hidden those are.
And lastly, but not least, I want to thank YOU. Making everyone know that, *yes* Jack Stauber has meaning on their "non-sense" songs, and it's soul is so pure as their songs show, really in the inside.

I've been a fan of Jack's music for a long time, and you going the extra mile where most people would've just said "Oh hey a reference to X that's cool!" is really impressive. Thank you for the heartwarming story in times like these and good work. I hope one day the world goes back to normal, and people can go to Rossi's just as they always had.
It’s so odd being a long time fan and seeing these “behind the curtain” videos after only knowing and seeing the mysterious enigma we are fans of. Getting to experience this kind of irl stuff is very lucky.
Jack’s music has always had a mysterious vibe to them that makes them enjoyable. Whilst they sound as if they are meaningless mumbling, they all have a story whether it be serious or not. Seeing this story doesn’t ruin the appeal at all, but actually makes it more interesting to see how greatful of a person Jack actually is. In other words: my depression has been cured after watching this

This is an incredible story and the video is put together beautifully!! I first listened to HiLo in December of 2018 and then listened to all of Jack's other albums and fell in love. I had always wondered about the strange backstory of the song John and Nancy and kind of just assumed that it was based off the murder. This story is something I didn't necessarily expect but after watching so much of Jack's content, a lot of holes are filled in. I remember watching a video where he shows off a Yamaha DD-9 he got which I assumed he bought from a garage sale or flea market type thing. There is also that clip of him at the beginning of the HiLo Teaser where he is walking through John and Nancy's. Throughout watching this video I kept thinking how freaking dope this whole story is and what a coincidence it is that you had been affected by John and Nancy's place in a similar way to how Jack has. Hearing a few clips of Nancy's reaction was so cool! The way you describe meeting Jack and talking to him is really nice as well. It is so crazy the way you ended up talking to him so many times that day. Overall though, the way you told the story, the music, and your cute drawings as well made it so very enjoyable to watch!! The amount of effort that you put into this video, even if it's sort of been a 2-year long project, is so incredible. Thank you for sharing this story with all of us :D

Damn man, I just stumbled on this at like 11 tonight, and this is just... Unbelievable, to be honest. My family and I have been taking the half hour drive to get there since I was like 12 or so, and I cant tell you how many random knickknacks and video games we got there (Even the chair I used at my computer desk for like 5 years). It used to be a bi-weekly thing that we did on saturdays and sundays for years. Sometimes we'd just go to every venue there just to look around while my dad found something like a Pittsburgh Penguins jersey or some other sports memorabilia. For all I know, I could've seen Jack and never even known. Even if this gets buried in the comments somewhere, i've just gotta say, knowing one of my favorite music artists used to go here quite alot, the same way I did, its such a weird but awesome feeling. Makes the world feel so small! Thanks for making this video, this was all really cool to learn about. I really hope we can get back to normal sometime. I'd love to go back to Rossi's again with my family, like we used to.

I live in pittsburgh. My next door neighbors are named john and nancy. They are an elderly couple that have a garden that grows strawberries in the summer. It is very possible that they are the john and nancy the song is named after. I just got word that john died of a stroke a few minutes ago. Creepy.

This video has me feeling conflicted. On one hand I'm glad I got an insight on the meaning of one of Jack's songs. However on the other I feel this isn't what Jack wanted. As you stated he holds John and Nancy in high regard for helping his career. If he wanted them to know his success due to them he would've told them. However your conversation with Nancy shows she didn't know he was a musician, or how big he truly was. Making a video is one thing. Because I still think he didn't want the whole world to know about this, but I think he accepted that someone would've figured it out eventually. However telling Nancy specifically knowing that he interacts with her atleast semi-frequently seems a bit much. I get the feeling of being the only one who knows something, but it really wasn't your place to tell her about Jack. It was his and you took that from him. Maybe he would've never said anything and maybe that was his intention. Maybe he just wanted to appear as any other customer and didn't want to take the chance of becoming someone of interest.

Coming back to this video almost a year later, and im tearing up. Jack stauber's music was and is such an important part of my life, and this video really fits in so well with that importance. I did not want to cry from nostalgia tonight, but here I am. Thank you for your work and I truly am sorry this video does not have the millions of views it deserves.

Damn, sounds awesome! I truly thought that the song was about the murder, but I suppose it's my fault for not doing my research. I hope Rossi's still can stay in some capacity after the pandemic fizzles out, but one really can't know. At least you got to share the story with the world! Thanks dude. (side note, it just makes me glad that there are actual people who are as into Jack, or are more into Jack than I am, I hope that I can talk to more in the future, as there's just so many interesting things in his work to talk about. Also, see Opal if you haven't yet, made me cry, and I'd argue it's Jack's best visual endevour period.)
