  • A tiger whose best friend is a bear? A capybara which made friends with tiny puppies? The man who can cuddle with a polar bear? These animal friendships are not just unlikely, they're incredible.
Wildlife biologist Liz Bonnin goes on a journey of discovery to find out the science behind unusual interactions in the animal kingdom. Some of the surprising associations include a polar bear befriending huskies, a cat mothering ducklings, and an orangutan who keeps a pet dog. These odd pairings are not just limited to different species; animal relationships with humans are also explored, as people have been known to keep exotic pets such as lions, hippos and buffalos. Bonnin investigates the root of the affectionate connections and tries to uncover the reasons for the behaviours.

That polar bear is playing with his food. He keeps eating Huskies from the same pack; so, I wouldn't call them "friends" but more like entertaining snacks.

My horse (mare, never foaled) adopted an orphan calf the second she saw her❤
It changed the way I looked at all animals

I LOVE this Contents in Videos about Animals and Humans.
I'm only a "normal" human, a Midwife, born on a Farm in West-Germany in "long" Times ago (1955) and grown up in very close Relationsship to a lot of different Animals - "Home and Farm-Animals" but also wild Ones.
And I had very fast a good understanding about all Animals, and this stayed till today and guilty also for Animals in another Countries and Places on Earth.
It's in my Blood....I'm born and "educated" to understand Animals, for me it feels a bit like they are Siblings to me.
And they maybe feel the same - very often! And this is sooo lovely❣️🤗😍
And they can smell us and know very fast, if we are afraid of them or if we are friendly and kind and respectful to them.
No Animal did ever hurt me...Humans did!
Animals are always fair - they like you - or not!
And we will find this out very fast!
Much better as we can check this with other Humans, they are always Liars - Animals NEVER lie to us!
Thats another Point that I love them so 🥰💞👍🏼🤗❣️😍💪🏼

This is so beautiful. The relationships are just priceless.
I just want to know why the huskies are tied up? If a bear got aggressive, the dog wouldnt have a chance to even try to get away. Do you think the dogs would wander off?

It is unbelievable what I have learned fm Liz's films -the 1st of which I stumbled upon entirely accidentally. What's amazing to me (as well as family, friends, colleagues etc) is how knowledge gained fm this invaluable education expanded my awareness, elevated my consciousness, and thus changed my life notably. For this, I am humbly grateful. TY❤

This is my first time seeing this channel, and I am already in love. The host is absolutely awesome... The way she interacts with the animals is so beautiful! I would love to see more, but, as someone pointed out in the comments, she has to travel to different countries to get these amazing stories. ❤

Cats and dogs do get along. It's a myth that they don't. In our domesticated friends, so many households have cats and dogs that get along famously. But big cats in zoos (San Diego Zoo is the perfect example, many big cats in zoos (San Diego Zoo is a perfect example). Some have dog companions if they are otherwise left alone for whatever reason, usually because they have been rejected by their mothers or that their mothers can't handle caring for them. Whatever, they do get along.

And the world has no idea how one we are with the animals and they know we are one with them, and even all the plants and trees of mother Gaia and the planet herself Mother Gaia and inner Earth Mother Agartha 2:22 wow that's crazy major prime numbers of benevolence right there, time stamped, that's Mother Universe saying she agrees with what I am saying , and all of our Celestial and extraterrestrial families and the Angelic realm confirming as well, love the signs Universe keeps sending them 2:22 2:22 2:22 2:22 2:22 2:22 2:22 2:22 2:22 2:22

Shir Khan says: I am a Tiger!!!
    Leo says: I am a Leo !!!!
Bear says: let me hibernate and let me sleep, you are just cats. Feed me a dog or human tomorrow and we stay friends... zzzzzzz
So tiger and lion agree and fill themselves and friend bears stomach the very next day.
The story behind: never ever keep wild animals in a cage. And if you happen to rescue them: Let them go wild again as soon as possible !!!!!!!!!!

Well, when humans are involved and provide food to the animals, they won’t need to eat each other. Also, if they are introduced as babies, they will grow to love each other.

This reporter seems quite distant towards some of the animals in this program. In the Capabarra story, she looked like she was pushing the animal away. Her hands were closed, whilst giving the impression of liking the animal. Sir David Attenborough would have shown more connection, admiration and respect to these amazing animals. I find it ironic that animals are considered uncivilized, yet humans actions can be so detrimental to their own kind, and they're perceived as civilized? Maybe humans could learn from animals because the only difference really is, ego

Because they are fed and domesticated. This would never ever happen in the wild. We want killers to be cute. Stop feeding them for a week and see how much besties they are. Its cute fine, but very delusional in reality.
