I love the hairy Ologs. They look more intimidating and humble. They also make for fun nemesis or followers. All around they are by far one of my favorite titles an Olog or orc can have.
Some who betray you are actually really scared I had one who was absolutely terrified of sauron so he betrayed me so he wouldn’t be a traitor. I dominated him again and I’ve protected him for so long.
@@Kayo901 only time I’ve shamed somebody to this point is when an orc betrayed me and killed my orc captain who just liked to get drunk and have a good laugh. He’s still alive, he often finds me and cries. I shame him and move on. I’ll never forgive him for what he done.
I'm all for shaming and dominating the NPCs of this game but this is just not nice man. This is actually really screwed up. The game developers really went all out on this one eh?
They did but while messed up I respect them for not idolizing the effects of what you do to these guys. The orc where this concept gets introduced was especially soul crushing
he can't even do his howl anymore...jesus, I know orcs are meant to be evil, but at least grant them a warrior's death, instead of destroying all they have worked hard for and turning them into a husk of their former selfs XD
The most irritating part is sometimes you can derange an Uruk or Olog without even meaning to. Say you need to shame a unit just once to bring them to your level so you can attempt to recruit them? Well, good job, because you JUST broke their mind. The deranging with a single shame is annoying when you don't want it to happen...
Werewolf? Wait a minute Sauron is Lord of Werewolves :). "Sauron was become now a sorcerer of dreadful power, master of shadows and of phantoms, foul in wisdom, cruel in strength, misshaping what he touched, twisting what he ruled, lord of werewolves; his dominion was torment." :)
,,I will repay you a thousand times over for the torment you have caused me. Until this moment, you have not known suffering!"... pretty bold words for someone that is level 6
I had an olog who I loved he was my personal bodyguard till another olog replaced him then that olog who got replaced betrayed me so I shamed him to the point he was always crying….I felt bad…..I replaced him he got angry and now he’s sobbing
This is one ability I've never used. I've never shamed an enemy whenever I didn't have to, and the storyline quest where I had to break Bruz' mind horrified me so much I didn't play the game again for a months
I had an Uruk named Nakra the Scorpion he had flame I think on his two swords and we fought well but at one point I gave him cursed weapons and then right after he betrayed and killed me, so I went after him but got screwed because he had a new Blood brother called Zugor the Legendary, so I ran away then he killed the damn Overlord! He ruled until I got to him and thought between killing, shaming or recruitibg him I decided to recruit him and Im glad I did I made him a captain and sentenced him to 1 era of poison weapons then later I made him a warchief when I lost the fort and later gathered my army I gave him cursed weapons for the battle we succeeded so I gave him poison again and made a choice between him or my last Overlord Stakuga the Deranged I chose him so now he rules with his blighted blades over Seregost
Michail Volski lol I actually make it a point to drive them all insane. Its sick but effective. Its like I'm the Joker and they're my gang of deranged psychopaths. Its also creepy to hear them rushing enemies while moaning and crying while attacking a fort, more desperate to run into the jaws of the enemy than stand by the one who constantly inflicts pain upon them. When one betrays me, I shame them to level one and then recruit them again before sending them into the pits to replace them with a stronger orc.
The shame mechanic is great, really makes you feel like a dark lord when you can utterly break an otherwise powerful or scary monster to the point that it begs for death and then break it further until it can't even talk anymore. Great warriors don't fear death, but they will definitely fear YOU.
SPOLIER AHEAD!!!! If only after the game you would have dialogue when talion becomes a nazgul. He's silent when shaming and it's annoying. I would love to hear the dark side of him when he shames, just like celebrimbor. It would be really cool. I hope they add that in a future patch
Billy he's not as bad as celebrimbor. Celembrimbor only wanted to take over Mordor for his power. Talion does not necessarily want to make everyone a slave, just wants everyone to be in peace. So I don't think he WANTS to ruin a mind of an orc or olog.
It fits in Tolkien’s vision though. Back in his day, there was WW1 and how it changed the men who were in it. Shell Shock they called it back then. Having this orc become deranged is something he himself would’ve written if he was doing the writing for the game.
Schinak At the same time, it works in with the in-game progression and system as well: since you can't recruit uruks with a higher level than you or with the "iron will" trait, you have to shame them to bring them to a point you can recruit them, making a test of your morals: you have all the benefits... But is it worth it?
Even if it’s just a video game character, it doesn’t mean someone can’t feel sympathy towards it. People sympathize with tv characters or movie characters, so what makes this different?
I would totally brand him and build him back up again. XD That maniacal nature is something I want. I have a few mind-broken Uruks and a couple Ologs as Warchiefs in one of my forts. Crazy fun to have them. XD

The most impressive thing about this is that the ai seemed to recognize it had you cornered against a wall.
I want that olog in my life he is so fluffy
I find it a cool coincidence that he speaks of cornering a deer at a cliffside for his first kill, and you are indeed yourself cornered against a cliffside while he says it.
Who else felt really bad for bruz after shaming him
Chicken Nugger Me. I just mercy killed him
Chicken Nugger bruz wouldn't stop talking about the fort and I posted my off so I ended him with a friendly graug friend 😀
Pisted*
Luis Moquete you mean pissed?
I made Bruz my personal bitch. I shamed him down to level 1 and then raised him back up. Then I made him the leader of the Fort. Lol
His crying made me sympathise with the big lug.
But then he went and laughed in an unsettling way...
2:09 its so cute when he grabbed Talion's head
I love the hairy Ologs. They look more intimidating and humble. They also make for fun nemesis or followers. All around they are by far one of my favorite titles an Olog or orc can have.
Shaming them to this point is so sad lol. I'll only ever do it to those who betray. Like comon it's so rude I feel sorry for them :*(
Some who betray you are actually really scared I had one who was absolutely terrified of sauron so he betrayed me so he wouldn’t be a traitor. I dominated him again and I’ve protected him for so long.
@@Bruhbookshelf I will definitely be playing like you
@@Kayo901 only time I’ve shamed somebody to this point is when an orc betrayed me and killed my orc captain who just liked to get drunk and have a good laugh. He’s still alive, he often finds me and cries. I shame him and move on. I’ll never forgive him for what he done.
Leave the monster from Where The Wild Things Are alone.
I'm all for shaming and dominating the NPCs of this game but this is just not nice man. This is actually really screwed up. The game developers really went all out on this one eh?
They did but while messed up I respect them for not idolizing the effects of what you do to these guys. The orc where this concept gets introduced was especially soul crushing
they want to make you question who's the true villain.
Schinak I don't want the fort
Thulitha Senevirathne it is messed up bit being a anime fan and seeing some horrible messed up hentai I don't feel mercy for their kind
+Affan Sami That makes no fucking sense >_>
he can't even do his howl anymore...jesus, I know orcs are meant to be evil, but at least grant them a warrior's death, instead of destroying all they have worked hard for and turning them into a husk of their former selfs XD
Nah, I'll shame them more than in that famous scene from Game of Thrones. Now they'll see who is the true monster. :)
wow funny...
An orc is already a husk of their former self... why not finish the job?
Apparently u guys have not met Prak Jaws
Keenan Fourie would that be a tear of grace reference?
Austin Wilson yep
Oh how i wished he could've been transferred to Shadow of War haha.
I have.
Dexiant lol
"YOU ARE A MONSTER, a twisted fiend who is beyond any hope of redemption"
- Ur-Hakon.
He's like a big cute humanoid wolfdog for me 😂
Definition of insanity:To do the same thing over and over and expect different results.
That’s one gay werewolf
FORTUNE COOKIE NONSENSE
More like a bearwolf
Blackjack804 Still pretty gay though.
Werewolf? Wait a minute Sauron is Lord of Werewolves :). "Sauron was become now a sorcerer of dreadful power, master of shadows and of phantoms, foul in wisdom, cruel in strength, misshaping what he touched, twisting what he ruled, lord of werewolves; his dominion was torment." :)
doesn't look like a werewolf
,,I will repay you a thousand times over for the torment you have caused me. Until this moment, you have not known suffering!"... pretty bold words for someone that is level 6
I read "this dog is scary" when i clicked
not gonna lie watching these makes me wanna play the game again
I don't know whether to feel bad for him after all that shaming, or laugh my ass off. Because this is just priceless. XD
Don't you just love that crazed laugh you get when you know you're fucked? Oh just me? Alright
Aw, he's so fuzzy ^^
You'd think orcs would be shitting themselves though after seeing how you reduce the most ferocious warriors to imbeciles.
I have such a soft spot for Ologs, and me watching you shame that fluffy ass boy to insanity hurts me.
2:42 wow...That's sad...A heartless Orc crying his brains out.
Now. Just imagine the voice actors having to voice those lines into the game
Me: "Why can't you just kill me? Does it give you pleasure to cause such pain? to see me brought so low?"
Life: *shames me again*
Me: *deranged*
They really nailed that deranged level. That shit is fucking creepy as hell.
That laugh in the end though 😂😂😂😂😂
Himanshu Joshi followed by saddened whimpers.
I think it would be scarier if the olog didn't make any noises, just slowly starts to smile and have his eyes widen as he sees you
One Olog believed he was Bruz after I shamed him . Very creepy especially because he had similar armour to bruz
I'm pretty sure this game's shaming mechanic brought out the absolute monster in me
He sounds like me when my life is falling apart
He ruled until I got to him and thought between killing, shaming or recruitibg him I decided to recruit him and Im glad I did I made him a captain and sentenced him to 1 era of poison weapons then later I made him a warchief when I lost the fort and later gathered my army
I gave him cursed weapons for the battle we succeeded so I gave him poison again and made a choice between him or my last Overlord Stakuga the Deranged I chose him so now he rules with his blighted blades over Seregost
1:51 kind of impossible for him to be holding that torch with his hands like that
his hand is the torch.
Silent_Stalker O_O
Master Of Disguise :
This actually really impressed me. I might pick this game up 5 years later
man you're evil. i would never treat my orcs this way
Michail Volski lol I actually make it a point to drive them all insane. When one betrays me, I shame them to level one and then recruit them again before sending them into the pits to replace them with a stronger orc.
jesus christ calm down satan
Revan Shan that’s fucking evil
Sometimes I think Talion and Celebrimbor are the true bad guys.
Christ you broke the shit outta that guy
The crying from the soul, then immediately going into maniacal laughter...the fucking laugh... O.O
These things just don't seem right. It really is sad.
I heard an olog captain say the "definition of insanity" line the other day as he was trying to whack me with his mace.
Man that ''shame skill'' is fucking cruel.. And disturbing ...
477Elite it is. sort of wish they didn't include it.
Why? if i had that power the whole world would be shamed! 😐
The shame mechanic is great, really makes you feel like a dark lord when you can utterly break an otherwise powerful or scary monster to the point that it begs for death and then break it further until it can't even talk anymore. Great warriors don't fear death, but they will definitely fear YOU.
He talks like Arnold xDDD
I don't think I've ever felt such pity towards an enemy in a video game.
Samuel Adams i get what you mean but i still think it would be cool to add some dialogue in for dark talion
It fits in Tolkien’s vision though. Back in his day, there was WW1 and how it changed the men who were in it. Shell Shock they called it back then. Having this orc become deranged is something he himself would’ve written if he was doing the writing for the game.
I really love this game for how detailed it is. Have a look at his name. As you shame him more and more he loses his title.
When he cries, you can hear the little "no, no, no" and "help me, help me". That's so sad
Quite frankly, I think you're the scary one here.
Is it just me or is the delivery of the line, "Until this moment, you have not known suffering!" totally badass? I got chills when he said that!
I really don't get why they did this. It seems so... weird.
It's to show that in some ways Celebrimbor is just as bad if not worse than Sauron now. It works
Schinak At the same time, it works in with the in-game progression and system as well: since you can't recruit uruks with a higher level than you or with the "iron will" trait, you have to shame them to bring them to a point you can recruit them, making a test of your morals: you have all the benefits... But is it worth it?
Why did I watch this at 01:15 AM
Put him out if hes pain plz :'c
Kalle Karlsson he is a video game character.
Ah, OK. "Put this video game character out of his misery, please". Is that better, Nathan?
Kostya Y. I just dont see the point of caring for somthing that does not exsist. Seems like a bad investment of effort and time.
The Tamagotchi kids would like a word with you.
Even if it’s just a video game character, it doesn’t mean someone can’t feel sympathy towards it. People sympathize with tv characters or movie characters, so what makes this different?
Funny thing is though, Talion is the only monster in this situation
I would totally brand him and build him back up again. XD That maniacal nature is something I want. I have a few mind-broken Uruks and a couple Ologs as Warchiefs in one of my forts. Crazy fun to have them. XD
1:28 *creature grabs your head and gently pushes you aside*
"Until this moment, you have not known suffering!"
This is what it's like fighting a high-level bugbear.
He even looks like a bugbear.
Could someone help me find a clean audio of the music playing at 2:39 ? That creepy metallic warble without any dialog.
