It was stated that at one point you "could" get in the tree, but not anymore. A tree, being a living plant had grown and closed the hole over the years, leaving just a slit behind. An endoscope may have been the only way a camera could enter it now.
You missed a very important part of the translation: In Germany occupied Poland saving Jews was punished with death penalty. The girl did not translate it.
The video camera battery was low and I pressed stop too soon. This piece of film was not edited out...but I also filmed on my telephone which has a light problem but I got the words so may upload this JUST for you Piotr!
I agree with Catherine R. Where is the rest of the story?? How do you get into the tree? Inside views? Not a very complete story. Someone needs to follow up on this.
They said 20 years ago u could get inside. My best guess is that the tree grew and you can no longer get inside the gap, or the gap is no longer there since the tree grew.
I wish you could give more info: who fed them? Did they live at the bottom of the tree or were able to go up inside the tree? Did they hide the « hole » by which they came in? It seems that if you went all the way to the tree, this info could have been also made available to you. Was it?
@@thetreehunter Thanks - still hard to believe there was enough space for 6 people- Did they stand one on top of another? They could not have been all standing beside one another. Still lots of un-answered questions. We’re these 6 people retraced or interviewed after the war?

Impossible that many people got into that tree looking at its diameter. Plus there’s no hole and even it there was a dead hollowed out tree would not heal itself. Sounds like an old wives tale or maybe the original tree fell over and guides are using an imposter tree

Thank God for his great tree to save the innocent people. The other humans even the police were showing the Germans where the Jews lived, hid and were being kept safe. To take the life of an innocent person is a crime that your soul never repays. Even your death is not full payment. Intent is your own demise Remember Their Names!
Disappointing video. I expected the story of the tree and how the family survived. Instead, this was more about a boring train trip and the fact that the presenter couldn’t spend adequate time to get that story.

Just for you Piotr ua-cam.com/video/4IBposJ1BLM/v-deo.html you can see film is bad quality as camera lens is faulty

Amazing tree with an amazing story.

I thought it would show how the tree opened up, that's why i watched. I would like to see more of the story.
It never ceases to amaze me how God had that tree grow there specifically to save 6 people’s lives! Amazing story! Thank you
