‘The Lamb of God’ Spreads the Hope of Jesus Christ at Easter Season

- Each year Rob Gardner’s oratorio about the Savior’s death, Atonement, and Resurrection is performed by more than 4,000 performers across the world participate in locally produced performances of “Lamb of God” in places as far-reaching as Buenos Aires, Romania, and Taiwan. These performances play for a total audience of more than 50,000 people. Almost all performers are volunteers. In the coming month, performances will take place in Arkansas, California, Colorado, Idaho, Indiana, Montana, Oregon, Taiwan, Washington, Wyoming and Utah, among others.
One such performance took place in the Tabernacle on Temple Square on Friday and Saturday, March 22-23, 2024, by the Davis Interfaith Choir and Symphony. The event marked the beginning of Holy Week.
“Singing in the Tabernacle is quite an experience, and conducting this ensemble here has been just a remarkable lifetime experience,” said Jane Fjeldsted, who conducted the concerts. “The most impact that I’ve seen has been the power of this music on the people who are preparing it and present the concert. The music is magnificent, and the people who perform this and prepare it have come with their deep, abiding testimonies and their faith in Jesus Christ and their love for Him.”

Sang in a Lamb of God oratorio in San Francisco years ago. Being a part of it causes the music to stay with you. Super grateful for Rob Gardner and the groups performing his music. Clearly inspired.
I had the opportunity of performing in this oratorio and I will never forget the powerful spirit that comes to me when I sing about the Savior and his last days on earth and of his love for us.

At first I thought it's a performance by the Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square. I long for them to perform this work from Rob Gardner. However this community of singers sounds marvelous. I wish I was there in person to feel and witness their love of the Savior through their performance.
But a life changing work and a wonderful performance to be sure!!

The truth is Jesus Christ Infinite Atonement and Ressurection brings hope to all of all of us who always remember Him and Keep His commandments and truly repent and continuing daily repented of our sins, and mistakes and as we become clean and we will feel the power of the Holy Ghost and that's we will have power
and that's when we were cleansed through the Atonement of Jesus Christ.

I have been privileged to play both the 1st clarinet part and the oboe part. I will gladly make whatever sacrifices necessary to play in the orchestra for this again and again! This Easter weekend, we had 2 smashing performances of Lamb of God in Tampa, FL. We are already talking about doing it again next year, as well as making this a recurring tradition.

Dude I’m singing in a Lamb of God concert this Tuesday, so exited. The songs are amazing and really help us feel the spirit
I hope this leads to the tabernacle choir singing it.
As a slight correction... the work is titled "Lamb of God" similar to how Handel's work is called "Messiah" with out the "the", because "The" Lamb of God is of course the Lord.
Will this group perform this again at the Tabernacle next year?
