I lovee this mashup despite the too-high pitch of Freddie's vocals. That said, Party Ben apparently didn't know about the "Change tempo" effect in Audacity (free open-source audio editing software, like Firefox for making mashups and remixes) -- it lets you make a clip shorter (or longer) without it affecting the pitch, There's also a "Change pitch" effect for altering the pitch without making the clip faster (or slower). I'm not a shill, just a satisfied user who wants to see more good mashups get made.
I said the majority of it was basically a newer disco funk. I will agree that around the world is complete house. If you want to know the origins and samples Daft Punk used I recommend looking up "release the beast" and you'll understand where their original inspirations came from.
Play this on your headphones while walking down the street, and tell me you don't start strutting. A bit offsetting that the voice is so high, but, 3 SONGS! God job to the MC, yo.
You took two of my favorite groups, so I'm going to be very hard on it. I must say, it could have been worse. You matched the two styles very well, and although I'm not too fond of the pitch of Freddie's voice, it's not that big a deal. You created something new and different and I think you did pretty good.
Unintentional?! I don't think so! Follows the often pitched vocals in Daft Punk's music. And I think it fits perfectly in the "skillfull musical combination", as you called it.
+Simon Christensen It's "Heaven & Hell" which is an iteration of Black Sabbath featuring Ronnie James Dio. And yes, that's them at 1:38 actually (with the angels smoking backdrop). You can see Ronnie singing at the right...
@Multi1628 This is true. I see your point...but what they really mean, is that it's a friendly competion where everyone brings their "A-game" and "battle" for eveyone's enjoyment...plus it's usually two different genre's so it just fits.
I like the mix, especially the e-guitar riff, and love the idea, but messing with Freddie's voice is heresy. The "We Will Rock You" part is how I thought Mercury's voice should have sounded the whole way through, and you could use gain/effects to differentiate the "Another One Bites the Dust" part from the "We Will Rock You" part, but it might just be me.
@Multi1628 They say vs. because it's two discs next to eachother, the two discs play simultaneously while the DJ tweaks the music for the music that you hear, ergo, it's one song vs. another. Hope that helps.
@Multi1628 It's just a term used, to distinguish it from a remix of a song and another song. It also credits both artists, putting an "&" or a "+" would be too confusing because people might think it's a collabration between the artists.
*_Immediately suspicious of the disabled thumbs up/down counter._*
Oscy lol
+Oscy dont worry peiople donw voted this jsut because freddy was high pitched
MikePhantom
That seems a valid reason to down vote.
Oscy uhm no it isn't
MikePhantom
Would you not rather he kept his voice normal? It's a valid reason.
sounded soooooo fucking good, then Alvin came along and well....
if freddie wasnt transformed into Alvin, i would like this song
Shawn Dowling
or did alvin became Freddie Mercury?
RIP Freddie Mercury from Helium overdose.
Your comment made my day :D
MEGA LOL!
aannnddd now i cant hear this seriously :D
a big grin love it Benedictus Anindityo
Song officially ruined before it started
This could've been so amazing, if you had downpitched Da Funk instead of uppitching Queen.
I was thinking the exact same thing. Totally agree.
Agreed!
Hmm! I wish he had made Freddy Mercury a Daft Punk robot voice
ua-cam.com/video/Cdtg1TYXvTk/v-deo.html
i agree with rabin miguel!
Dude you turned Freddy into a squirrel
😂😂😂
to be fair freddy already was a rodent. A fabulous, talented, genius, sexy rodent but a rodent nonetheless
If it's Daft Punk vs Queen, why is Alvin from the Chipmunks singing?
sounds like a justice song
dat bass >
Indeed, that would be because Justice was influenced by Daft Punk, which came first
daveed1297 but justice where influenced by another group than daft punk, because their music is based on the disco :)
My thoughts exactly
Sorry. It's okay, but Freddie sound a bit like a chipmunk.
Or Micheal Jackson lol
you know chipmunks don't really talk right? so he can't sound like one while singing
Thomaz Rizzo Fool.
it's cause they had to speed it up a bit orther wise it wouldn't match up.
bluefireracing I get that, but other mash-up artists manage to speed up slow down lyrics to match the tracks without distortion.
Why not do it the other way around, downpitch the song that doesn't have vocals in it?
+BearWindAppleyard this is UA-cam - stop making so much sense
+BearWindAppleyard Da Funk is not the same when pitch shifted, it sounds bad.
+Starkilla55 either too major or too minor
+BearWindAppleyard Because Daft Punk thats why
Because that's how it was done in DJ Hero
I didn't know that Alvin and the Chipmunks did a cover of this song?
The bass is strong with this one.
Felix Kehrer ✊🏽❤️
What the funk?
XD
Da Funk?
2019
I just downloaded this mashup and pitch shifted it so Freddy was in the right key. Way better
please upload this for the love of god
Please dude I think many persons will like if u upload this version with Freddy's voice fixed xD
Yes please!
Would love to hear that.
plis give it to me :(
The songs just totally go together. They're like meant for each other!
Everybody talking about the excessive Helium in Freddie Mercury voice, when me is just impressed with the We will Rock you part.
0:13 they're pissin' :D
Que haces aqui, anda adorar carl.... digo martin garrix

Love the mashup! They fit really well. Party Ben is awesome. I do wish that he hadn't messed with Freddie's voice, though...
Arrrrr, the moment I heard Freddie's voice, I knew there be gold buried in the comments section.
In a moment you can hear 3 songs: Da funk+ we will rock u + another one bites the dust. That's too pro for my ears. Epic job.
What shit you did Freddie's voice ?? He must be turning in his grave LOL
+Emily Fleury ⁷ He was cremated :/
+David Harrison he threw his vase off the shelf.
+epion660 I admit, I chuckled.
Emily, you're making me harder. sorry it's stronger than myself.

Poor Freddie Mercury, had a Helium Overdose. :(
No! Just no!
Had to speed him up a bit to make it match, didn't PB?
Hellium overdose am I right
Are u ready for Another One BItes The Dust part 1 this friday?
GUREATO!!!
W â s h å g ö r I am somewhat disappointed that there's no Stand named [D A F T P U N K] yet...
Me too
Your, Mustache, is so, Awesome.
What were you saying ? =)
Whatever the squabbles over keys it needs to be in ...... its a sick piece of music
It Could've Just as easily been Named another one bites daft punk and I wouldn't care
Da funk is the name of a daft punk´s song m8
I said the majority of it was basically a newer disco funk. I will agree that around the world is complete house. If you want to know the origins and samples Daft Punk used I recommend looking up "release the beast" and you'll understand where their original inspirations came from.
I really like it. No idea what you guys are complaining about.
You can get a bit of an idea by reading the comments bud
All this complaining. Sounds pretty dang cool if you ask me. Great dancing groove.
I agree, it rules IMO! The high pitched Freddie Mercury vox sound like Michael Jackson at times.
For me it sounds like a female Mercury. But yeah, it also reminds a bit of Michael
Thing is...Nobody *did* ask you.
And it's not complaining, it's feedback ;)
You're so cool, grandmom Jenn! Teach us how to live without a single fuck given.
Because that's Freddie fucking Mercury, it's an insult to mess with the vocals like that this mix is garbage
Speaking as a neutral who have not listened to either artists before, I can say that this mix is awesome!!!
Best mashup of the century
b..but his voice... its like, a chipmunk song...
best comment about it
I sounds a bit more like Nightcore than chipmunk other wise it be way more high pitched and speed up more
yea thats true...
They did that so the songs matched up in rhythm.
In tone, actually. For me it sounds like a sort of female Freddie.
Play this on your headphones while walking down the street, and tell me you don't start strutting.
A bit offsetting that the voice is so high, but, 3 SONGS! God job to the MC, yo.
It flows so nicely!
GET OVER THE PITCH CORRECTION
ITS PRACTICALLY NIGHTCORE
ITS THE FUCKING DEVIL.
Holy fuck
night core is dumb tho (i still like it tho)
They are both so AMAZING!!
Love the little bit of we will rock you.
Even though he sounds like he's been force fed helium, Freddie still sounds like a total bad ass.
Da Funk by Daft Punk but it has the vocals from Another One Bites the Dust and We Will Rock You by Queen but Freddy sounds like Joan Jett
Listened to this one all the time in high school. It was good to revisit it!
You took two of my favorite groups, so I'm going to be very hard on it. I must say, it could have been worse. You matched the two styles very well, and although I'm not too fond of the pitch of Freddie's voice, it's not that big a deal. You created something new and different and I think you did pretty good.

I downloaded this just so I could fix the pitch on Freddy's voice. shame on you altering it. shame indeed.
could you please upload your version?
Bina Colada he dead
where did u uploaded that?
@@strangerman7726 fuckhead if he doesn't post a link
I cant get enough of your remixes. I was subed halfway through this song! like if you are watching in 2015!
fredy on helium
real talk lol
Freddy helium, the doppelganger of freddy mercury
Great cover for dancing, even the young generation likes. It keeps Freddie' s memory alive!
We will rock you? I WASNT INFORMED OF THIS
I would have never imagined these songs together, but it sounds great!!
.......Why is there a picture of Black Sabbath at the 1:35 mare in the video?
That's not Black Sabbath
That's not Black Sabbath
+Simon Christensen It's "Heaven & Hell" which is an iteration of Black Sabbath featuring Ronnie James Dio. And yes, that's them at 1:38 actually (with the angels smoking backdrop). You can see Ronnie singing at the right...
***** Well to that I agree.
+The Darkrunner Too much freetime dude.
really really good..one of the best remixes here of daft punk
Of course I can't give it a thumbs down...
The greatness of Queen. And the Best that is Daft Punk. Hello Legendary track.
Really well-put together
I just want to save it to my favourite list so much.. .. a great mix! Thank you!
Spiffy. Also very seamlessly mixed (which is kinda important).
Only complaint about this is the normal pitched We will rock you, but it's a minor complaint. Good work at all.
When you speed it up you gotta drop the pitch accordingly
Freddie Mercury on helium hahaha still pretty awesome and funky as fuck
Me: *looking at the comments, I'm curious to see what this sounds li-*
Freddie, in Chipmunk voice: "LET'S GO!"
Me: *XD XD XD XD XD*
Being the Queen megafan that I am, I almost hate to say it, but this is catchy as hell. Nice job!
Queen and Daft Punk.
The two greatest bands of all time.
These two songs that u mixed goes so well
Please lower the voice tone instead.
But then it wouldn't follow the Daft Punk tradition.
TomdeArgentina He will get a copyright if he did
two of the best bands ever to walk the face of the earth
Is this a female cover, or was Freddie's voice so naturally high pitched that only slight modification would make that much of a difference?
to me it sounds like La Roux
It sounds like the creator simply pitch-shifted Freddie's original vocals to match Daft Punk's accompaniment
HANDS DOWN THE BEST MUSICANS OUT OF EUROPE
but Freddie sounds so cute LOL I imagine a tiny Freddie singing this
lol
@Multi1628 This is true. I see your point...but what they really mean, is that it's a friendly competion where everyone brings their "A-game" and "battle" for eveyone's enjoyment...plus it's usually two different genre's so it just fits.
Chipmunk Freddie ain't bad. :)
yeah lol
I like the mix, especially the e-guitar riff, and love the idea, but messing with Freddie's voice is heresy.

I think the upshifted Freddie sounded nice.
I didn't really think so but I respect your opinion
Kinda sounds like Michael Jackson
Queen and Daft Punk were MADE to be together :)
Fuck this stuff was popular 2007-2009 what happened? Oh yeah music got shit
*****
***** So you think music now is better than it ever was in the 70s,80s,and 90s?
***** No i mean the mixing of two good songs. I was trying to make a note of how they ran out of good music to mix
Saar Huan Disco duck had more radio play than Another one bites the dust, same goes for shit like Drake instead of good music like Mika or Best Coast.
Did u see when this was uploaded?
Actually not bad, I'm impressed, another great song is Stayin' in Black just in case anyone was wondering
I hate chipmunk versions of songs
Here's a quick fix. Download this video as an MP3, open in Audacity, click "Change Pitch", lower by 2 decibels.
1:38 ... what does Dio there ??
Freddie's pitched up voice sounds awesome. It's still very enjoyable
Another Downvote Bites the Dust
+Gato303co jfc how can you not like this?
+It's Just Zac I will quote a comment from @Emily Fleury ⁷ :
"What shit you did to Freddie's voice ?? He must be turning in his grave LOL"
Gato303co I for one like the change. Daft Punk's song would have faced a much worse fate if it were pitched down
AWESOME !!!!! i can't believe a remix like this good really EXIST !!!!

if there wasn't a jojoke somewhere in this comment section i was gonna scream. thanks for preventing screeching noises
Sorry, no. The beat cool but you can't mess with Freddie's voice. It throws the whole thing out.
SouthernBeautie2010 sounds like michael jacksson lol
SouthernBeautie2010 It's to match the instrumentals. It would mess you up even more without it.
WHY IN HELL WOULD YOU AUTOTUNE FREDDIE MERCURY??? You just ruined a great song...
It doesn't sound like autotune, it actually is just on a higher octave
Somebody has absolutely no clue how autotune actually works.
No , anotherone bites the dust is sped up to match the tempo of da funk, and when you speed something up, the sounds get higher pitched
Agree
chizzer19 not if you do it properly, change the key and use pitch sliders you get a quicker tempo and same key :D
@Multi1628
They say vs. because it's two discs next to eachother, the two discs play simultaneously while the DJ tweaks the music for the music that you hear, ergo, it's one song vs. another. Hope that helps.

Ah on 3/3/2023 this is quite a amazing song :)
damn son, thats some fine mixin and a musicin. i even loved the kicked-in-the-nuts mercury.
i like the touch of the high voice - it's very Daft punkesque. nice
Kill it! Kill it with fire! What have you done to Freddie!
it sounds amazing....i don't care what they did to his voice, the songs go well together and i like how they sound.
Doing that to Freddie's voice is a crime against humanity.
