I have chronic hand pain for 18 months and i come back to your rice bucket video every 2 days since about 6 weeks and this is helping me so so much more than anything I've ever tried and my hands are becoming stronger. Thank you so much for making this fun to follow.
@@BloxianLegendnot the original poster, but I kind of messed up my wrist while bare knuckle boxing and had a pain while lifting heavy objects or just weights in the gym, I started doing the rice bucket workout and so far it reduced the pain and I can lift weights again
I'll be trying this. I did soft tissue damage to my hand a year ago and it still swells up sometimes. I'm hoping this can get me my hand strength back.
I've tried a LOT of forearm workouts (grips, rope on a stick, hanging bar, etc.) and this 10 dollar bag of rice and old bucket works my forearms better than all of them. Thank you for sharing!
Did it with sand and dear lord does this burn, everytime I heard her say what was next I audibly groaned in pain. Definitely going to keep doing this, thankyou
Well I just went out and bought a 5-gallon bucket and 30 lb worth of rice and completed this follow along workout without any rest in between exercises. All I can say is wow! I've never in my life felt a pump like this in my forearms. I literally could barely move my hand and wrist by the time I was done. Thanks for making this awesome video! I will be adding this to my workouts a couple times a week. The only difference is I did one hand at a time so they would fit inside of the bucket easier.
This is an extremely thorough set of exercises and the video is clear and easy to follow. I will be using this regularly! Thank you for your effort in making this for us.
Awesome!! 💪 Thank you! I’m planning to make another grip/endurance follow along, this time with a dumbbell! Mix things up for those who are tired of rice haha
Steve Edwards is the guy who introduced rice bucket workouts to me, and ever since his rice bucket workout video was removed, I was never able to find one that was nearly as good as his until now. This one might even be better :) great work! would love if you had another video or two on these with even more exercises that I could rotate between, cause this one was excellent.
I hurt my wrist doing muay thai and haven't been able to train properly for over a year, this video actually helped alot. Been doing this for about two weeks and for the first time in a year I hit the heavy bag without wrist pain during or after, thank you for this video!
Been doing this for a while and loving it, really gives the forearms a burn and MAN THAT LAST ONE IS PURE TORTURE. Thank you for making this it is extremely well made and well-done I don't think anyone could've done it any better. Are you going to make a follow up video for this? Maybe you came up with other exercises? I'm glad Monster Michael Todd introduced me to this, this really is a game changer!
Glad you enjoy it! Stay tuned- no ETA yet but I’m brainstorming ideas for another forearm workout vid- this time outside of the rice bucket. It’ll be just as, if not more, intense.
Started this today. Done all my measurements and I'm just aiming to do one or two follow along videos on youtube. Aiming for every day as I imagine my forearms should heal up quickly. Only done measurements on the upper forearm at 29cm. If i can get about 1cm i'll be over the moon!! I might report back every week or so depending how well this comment does. All the best guys
@@lhakpasherpa9479 hi mate yeah I am still going on this, not been as consistent as I should be but I don't really want it to affect my performance in the gym. Haven't noticed any size increase as of now, so I'm gonna try and do it every day instead.
@@AP-98it shouldn’t, i do this in the morning every day and gym in the evening and do it everyday, it hasn’t had an effect on it at all yet, just use straps if u can for back day
Been riddled with wrist pain after I tweaked it bench pressing. Been doing rice bucket workouts and my wrist has felt amazing. This one however was the best! My hand, wrist, and especially my thumb got a huge pump. Great video!
I gave this one a chance after just watching the video. I thought it was the easiest one yet here on UA-cam. Once I did follow along I definitely thought it was extremely easy until the end when I suddenly felt like my forearms were about to explode. I think it was the doorknob one and the handful of rice holding onces. Killing moves.
Mesmerized by this. Already visualized my following along with your demonstration and next exercise clip-really cool and timer is over the top. I visually pumped out after the second exercise and could feel my forearms burning - ha ha ha. Seriously, though, looks wicked cool and will give it a try. Actually, may get my wife to try it too since she has issues with wrist/finger joints.
13/1/25 Its been 20 days since I first started, my left forearm has increased 0.4 inches and right has increased 0.55 inches. No noticable improvements in wrist for now although that might be because I am still going through puberty. I train for armwrestling too along with this rice bucket training so my forearms get challenged a lot every day.
I'm new to training with a rice bucket and picked it up to heal a finger sprain I got catching a pass. I was months with little progress but now thay I'm doing this routine I noticed right away it started healing much faster! The forearms aren't looking bad either. It's a fun routine and the most comprehensive I've found as far as the variety. I like the names for the movements too haha. Thanks!
I use this video for warmups all the time! As others have said…it’s been put together well in a simple and effective way that is easy to follow along with. Thank you so much, for helping with my tennis elbow!
You should not add so much water that you must strain it. Rice should absorb and remaining water should evaporate. If you have water left then you need to reduce the water you are using. Also adding tomato juice or sliced garlic lends a nice flavor to the rice. Really though this is why old time bakers and pipe workers had massive arms and hands. Cool workout
just got a pulley injury after resuming training after lockdown, looks like it's finally time to start rice bucketing, thanks for such a well put together video on the topic.
this vibe is so good and i can barely type now omg going to be singing along to this one for a while. i am an American Sign Language studies student. thank you!!
Been doing this now on a Daily base(3 Sets) for a week straight & i can really say it does the job perfect😎🔥 been struggling in the gym due to my weaker forearms and i can already feel a difference in gripforce🥰 love the pump and burn afterwards, its insane! BIG thanks for the super easy to follow video and your time doin this🤘 by the end of the year i hopefully turned the rice into flour haha

Love this video, currently on day 3 of 30. Question, the rice you use, does it produce much dust? I bought great value/Walmart rice, and it produces a lot of dust. Thanks
And then i'm expected to carry the bucket back again? Hahah, great workout. My arms are dead after the "trembling power". Will come back to this video in a couple of days
Amaaaziiiiiinnggggggggg video Tofu, best follow along on youtube. Can you do a rice bucket follow along set for the feet as well? preetyyy pleaseeee :))
@@FearlessTofu i saw some videos but very basic exercises nothing complete as yours. I think will be super useful for feet placement and the ankles on the routes.. Thank you in advance and keep up the amazing work 💪🤘👊🙌
Do you have to replace the rice? Or are there any things you need to do to maintain its quality? Should we be using this with the mind of eating the rice one day?
Anyone recommend this for someone experiencing some early signs of carpal tunnel in their wrists? I’m a hard rock drummer of over 15 years and time is starting to catch up to me but I’d like to keep going as long as I can. I’m hopeful these exercises could help to mitigate symptoms.
This type of workout should help you with that. I’d also look up “nerve gliding exercises”. What you want is strength and flexibility and adding the bucket to the nerve gliding would be your best bet
Love these exercises Monster michael todd introduced me to this and now ill follow these every day hopefully Amazing exercises, great pumps, Great and thorough video! thank you!
All the wrist curls and hand gripper workouts ive done throughout my life have not blown my hands and forearms up like this has. Too bad the rice has started making me break out in hives 😅. Maybe I'll switch to beans lol
