Dylan Vidovich - "Jet City Woman" (Queensryche Vocal Cover)
Вставка
- Опубліковано 24 січ 2015
- Recorded with the Oktava MK-319 condenser microphone I received as part of the recording project I'm working with! This mic, along with the interface that allows me to monitor myself, makes a world of difference!
Very nice cover, bro --- taking on a Geoff Tate song in his prime is no easy task !!
I'm listening all your covers. your voice is beautiful ! good job
It was also composed by Queensryche. Wow! You can really hit the high notes. Very good rendition of Queensryche Jet City woman. Props!
I'm a die hard Ryche fan! And THIS, my friend is absolutely great. Damn I loved it. You're a talented guy.
Just here watching this for the 100th time lol. You're so talented dude.
Knew you had immediately as you started to sing. You can hear or I can hear right off the bat you got the cords. Good job!
Que nivel Dylan....la voz de Jeoff Tate es muy complicada y lo haces tremendamente excelente.....mis respetos para tí...me quito el sombrero....acuérdate del efecto de Reverb en tu Mic....
wasn't expecting that voice..great job!
Holy shit man. You kick ass. Rock on brother 🤘🤘
Very nicely done Dylan! My band covers pretty much all of these Hair Metal songs that you have posted, including Jet City Woman. The look of disbelief on people's faces in the crowd, when a band is just nailing the s*** outta some Queensryche is just priceless. 😎🤘🏻
Surprisingly amazing. I wasn't sure what to expect. You've got an amazing voice.
Powerful and pronounced real nice job my friend
wooohooo you KILLED it!!
Excellent!
Love it
Holy crap!!! This is amazing!!!
not only you have the voice but the feeling is amazing...this gave me goose bumps...rock on man
Excellent, you deserve that mic!
Yea man, great stuff, you rock!
Hell yeah..
Very VERY solid vocals. Awesome job
Nice voice man. I've always wanted to cover this song.
Killer voice!!!! Wow!!!
Made me forget about the bad backing track.
Lol
Holy shit!!!
The MK-319 is great. I have one. It's kind of like a Neumann with a hit of vodka. .....but not nearly as expensive. hahaha. great sound. Darker but not muddy!
Wow, blew me away. How bout some Paul Rogers, David Coverdale bet you can nail it. Great voice and enjoy listening, keep it up.
Too much talent right here! Awesome job!
brilliant
Great job buddy!! You need a band brah!!! Peace brother!!
On point!!!
Great job Dylan!
Glad I ran across your videos ! Keep it up.
BRUTAL VOICE!!!!!
nice job man very clean.
Nice job! I’ve seen the band live several times. You’d do the songs well.
Still very solid since the last time I listened to it. 😊
Super!
Nice Job Man!! You Deserve It!!!
Fucking AWESOME!!!
dam really fucking great
Nice job
3:20 convinced me.
I think your sound and technique are amazing! I wish you'd sounded more vulnerable though. You sound so confident throughout most of it while the character in the song is supposed to be lost and lonely ;)
this guy will go far. he reminds me of someone i know who owns a soup kitchen in Brazil no offense, his cooking program is well known.
Nice !!!
So fuckin' good vocal.
dam Dylan fucking killer amazing
Great voice man keep it up
Nice!
Dude holy fuck that was good!!!
u are amazing
Nice job, bro!
Dylan, great job! How did you work with the recorded vox? Compression, eq and stuff, please share! Also, what audio interface did you use?
Octava MK-319 microphone using Adobe Audition CS6
In order:
Dynamics Processing with "Classic Soft Knee" pre-set
20 band Graphic EQ with "20 Band Classic V" pre-set
Parametric Equalizer with "Loudness Maximizer" pre-set
Studio Reverb with "Vocal reverb (small)" pre-set
Hard Limiter with "Light" pre-set
Multiband Compressor with "Raise Vocals" pre-set; sometimes I use Tube-modeled Compressor with "Vocal Booster" instead
Special > Vocal Enhancer, select Male vocal
And then finally, I always put an Analog Delay with the Default pre-set; just bring the "Delay" down to about 40-50 ms depending on the song.
That should about do it. Just mess with it a little bit and you'll get it.
Geoff Tate wrote this song about his wife (now his ex wife). It's difficult to reproduce the emotional element. Very good work.
great
You chocolate rained me!!!1
Hi Dylan, did you record the backing? I also have done a home studio version of this, but I used a different backing which sounds a bit beefier. I thought, your voice was too powerful for your backing. It would suit the one I found better.
I was so 'kin pleased, when you got to "Echo in my head like a scream" very nicely executed.
I think, measuring against the b/vox in the chorus, you were perhaps a tad too high in the mix. (but that's a personal opinion) not a criticism in anyway. Big respect bro.
Hey Dylan here's my version from other channel. My vocal is wetter than yours, a little bit too much. I'm still breaking in my Adam monitors,
Dude you sound better than the new singer
I hear the actual word’s better. You Rock! Geoff’s better of course though:)
who's the backing band
Nice job voice corrector lml
Try some Kamelot covers.
A little of bit of lack of vocal expression to enter the phrase and to sing the low notes the high notes very well nail it. Maybe a more Theatrical expression, the volume is always the same...you should give more voice modulation, but a like it.
This was almost five years ago. Watch my newer videos.
Not Geoff Tate, but not bad,May I recommend you find another guitar player though.
Dam Ci Łapkę,za determinację,Za wokal zero.
Never liked Geoff tate but I love operation mindcrime era. Degarmo and the band were unbelievable. Incredible job. You would have been better than the mad Canadian
Whach over my site rock music.
Are you a pop singer? No offense intended
Just felt there's a lot of feeling and vibrato left
Great job bro..Todd LaTorre sucks..
Lip singing
Nice job, bro!
