This is a pro level work. Bro you have to start giving lecture on that how you create all of this truly amazing and mind blowing work I have seen after a long time 👌👌👌👌
@@njfx Hey I'm subscribing and hitting the bell just to hold you up on those tutorials! We need a beginner Zero to pro Hero course! We need to be able to get our skills to make our own Jr. Reel
Have spent probably 2 months all together trying to find a website or video that has or shows several hundred or more procedurally or randomly generated land vehicles. Maybe someone on Houdini...
@@njfx Dude, I've been waiting for your tutorial.I have also been trying this effect recently, can you tell me what type of noise you use?Very appreciate!
@@beardirty6081Sorry for the wait! Been very busy lately. Still planned though. I use a regular turbulentNoiseVOP running through the UVs instead of P. The noise type was Simplex !
Amazing work!!! I've always been weak at making magic FX... I want to know, is 1:05 there the polygons with many many primitives? so the noise applied there looks without gaps. And what attributes did you use to determine the color and intensity ramp? and 0:50 there the smoke-liked magic, I think is very very cool! how can I re-do that? is pyro sim or the particles? Thanks
Thanks ! For 1:05 , its a noise driven bu uv and yes there's quite the amount of points ! Like 150K points in total i think. The noise is used for the color and the intensity ramp. There's also an "intensit by height" ramp. at 0:50 , its a particle sim using pop curve force + pop force. Nothing else ! I have around 60M particles.
There's one major mistake in this reel. The title. This ain't Jr. work my man. It's outstanding. "Houdini FX reel 2022 - Nabil Jabour" more like it.
Agree, this is not junior work... You're massively underselling yourself!
nice job cant believe u did the fx for the Call League cinematic
holy shin, U MADE THE TRAILER FOR RIOT??!!?!?! GODDANG THE ANIMATIONS IS FRICKING STUNNING MY GUY!

Wait you made that trailer in riot? Wow im still amaze how good it looks
Yep, with a team of 30+ people ! Super proud of the end result !
Thanks
AMAZING REEL MAN !, I want to know your system specs man
Dope reel man! I are these 1:08 procedural volumes or is anything simulated?
Hey ! No simulation at all ! :) I'll try to make a short tutorial about it soon
If you worked for RIOT... My dude you are no longer a Junior, you are a Mid/Senior.
Tutorial on 1:10 ?
Yes ! Soon!

@@njfx Yes, I also use uv, but I tried many times and finally chose original noise. Thanks for your advice, I will try simplex noise again.
@@beardirty6081 Except for Perlin and Alligator, any noise should work. It's probably a matter of tweaking the correct frequency values in u and v.
Брат, красиво!
This is more like a senior reel

You are middle or senior but definitely not a beginner
Low key flexing with the "Junior" thing eh.
No way you are a jr. This is some next level stuff
Mid now ! Thanks !
