My favorite Class hands down is Arcana Invoker.
As a huge fan of the Darkon Saga this class done in complete justice both flavored text and gameplay. I really like the stance style with the Arcana mechanics and the animation is sick. Always run it as my farming class and in some ultras to this day *if the pubs let me play it lmao*
Honorable mentions are Chaos Avenger, Verus Doom Knight and Doom Metal Necro
1. Decay doesnt do DoT. It just prevents target from healing. DoT vdk and ldk do come directly from their abilities.
2. LR isnt second best farmer, that spot goes to AI, which is pretty much on par with AM.
3. Vali does as much dmg as smite.
4. Use either vim helm or avarice cape on CAV.
What dmg boosts are you using?
1: Thx for the correction.
2: Imo LR>AI in farming due to LR Targeting 3 instead of two and AI Takes a min to ramp up to the world (my main gripe with AI) while LR needs 1 or 2 buffs from 4 to go off.
3: I have tested this and it they both do similar damage, but vali>smite due to the 1.3x buffs to the core stats for the 30 secs.
4: Vim on Cav does work due to vim's -33 less mana consumption so thx for that tip.
i use 51+ to all weapons +Polly roger for 81% dmg boosts (no pots).
@@fransleyh That AI hits only two targets doesnt matter in the grand scheme of things.
About AI ramping up the damage either, since AI performed better even before reaching its full potential and was that much better when it did. We are talking about farms of 50 kills, from battleunder all the way to 100K mobs ( 3 at map ) same way with 6 targets at /streamwar.

Thats not how dmg boost works. If you do 100 dmg boostless, you would do 196 dmg with that set up. Not 181.
Tbh, you are doing pretty bad damage on most classes if you use polly.

Yeah but it takes a while to ramp up before going crazy tho.
is arch mage really the best farming class in the game? i myself feel eternal inversionist is absolue top tier because all 4 of the abilities are 6 targets, so somewhere like Icestormunder you kill a massive amount of the mobs per hr just by the fact you tag so many more with each ability.
its good cuz it has 2 modes for farming, dps mode for killing mobs faster but less survivability and the other is sustain mode, has high survival but less dps
I mean EI is a good farmer but archmage has more to offer, reason why it's in discussions for best farmer.
Bruh, EI even with all it has doesnt even come close to AM. That class has stupidly low CDs and scales stupidly well with Elysium and Acheron. That synergy is the main reason.
wait until yall get your hands on FDW, its lowkey p2w farming class and can beat AM on some maps
