A walled garden out in the countryside. An absolute dream.
I could listen to Adam talk gardening all day. With what I have learned I just started my first cottage style border ... sixty feet of pride and joy! Such an education and inspiration to amateur gardeners all over the world.
Frosty, you have inspired me this year to grow from seed and design my ever so bland garden,
I’ve watched you, studied you and have taken what you have taught me to my garden.
Love your passion, love your creativity, let’s hope my garden looks a bright and healthy as yours ‘this time next year.

Have followed the transformation of Adma's garden since it was first shown on Gardener's World. It's lovely to see this garden with Adam and Lil and the cats! This is EXACTLY how I would have a garden if I did not live in a flat!! Thank you Adam and Lil for sharing your lovely garden with us.
My wish, if I ever believed in them Adam, would be to have had the fortune to work with Geoff Hamilton. I watched every GW he made. I of course remember you working and learning along side him. I was stunned to hear the tragic news of his premature death all those years ago. But, like you he bashed that message of treating our gardens as a shared place for us and our wildlife and I have been influenced by him ever since. That’s over 30 years. Your garden is a dream if I ever win the lottery, I won’t because I don’t do it 😂, your the designer I would hire. What a fabulous garden you are developing. Thank you for sharing I really enjoyed seeing your ideas and plans for the future. I also gained some new ideas for my own garden. 💚🌈

Having seen glimpses of this garden on Gardeners World, it was a real treat to see the full tour! Very interesting that all the seating and gathering areas seem quite small and intimate. I especially enjoyed the woodland and potager or veggie garden. Beautiful soulful garden which speaks to the kindness of the gardener. Bravo Mr. Frost
Every gardener is unique. Adam Frost has his special ways, very down to earth...doing it his way.

Thank you for welcoming us into your garden. And great camera work by your daughter! I certainly agree with building a garden in layers and phases, and I've always tried after moving to wait a year to see what comes up, where the sun is at different times of the day and different seasons, and finding the spots where I would want to spend time enjoying a prospect or sitting in contemplation. One's own garden is never really finished, and why would you want it to be? There'd be nothing to do and no new plants to buy.
It is always a joy to see your garden Adam; for me the best place is where you sit in the wood and enjoy the perfect silence. That’s where I sing to the Lord in the morning and also in the evening!

🇬🇧 Can recommend Summer Wine or Golden Showers for your Gin and T arbour. Both single and open for bees and sweetly perfumed. Golden Showers will flower until frost. Remember you starting this garden and it's looking wonderful. 🐱
This garden is already amazing but like every garden it will never be truly finished because we all end up tweaking this and that. Would be great to see it in another 4 years.
Loved seeing all your beautiful gardens especially the woodland area and the meadows. They invoke tranquility. And I totally agree that biodiversity brings in the wildlife which is an amazing experience. Hope we get to see more of your gardens throughout the year. .

Beautifully done. Gardeners or future gardeners learn thru their parents or grandparents. As someone who was brought up by grandparents from the Philippines who were keen gardeners would know, youngsters won’t show an interest but take stock without realising it. Now, here in the UK that learned knowledge of gardening is now being implemented. Thankful that one has the chance and space to garden. A very rewarding hobby and earning from it as a result.

A garden is to share with wildlife - that message resonated with me, for sure. I love seeing what wildlife turns up in the garden. It is a never-ending journey in the garden discovering new ways to attract wildlife. Beautiful garden, Adam, and I love the peaceful area with the tree stumps, best. I'd be setting up two little chairs and a small round table near there, too. Thanks for showing us your beautiful garden! I am in Melbourne Australia and will probably never get to go to Chelsea live so enjoying your garden through this video is a real godsend. Cheers.

Amazing beginning!! I love how hes telling us what was there. What he did first. Even showing us the general layout of the garden.
Ok now ive seen the whole show. I loved it. That he tells us what was there, and how he made decisions, what he saw, his thinking, his feelings. Facinating and certainly something i can relate to. Im watching in israel. I am thinking of adding local wildflowers in a dead grass area. I keep thinking northern gardening shows not really suit our dry conditions. But he gave me the best advice!! Go with local wildflowers that grow in my area. Its what i was planning to do but hearing him say it is giving me confidence. So lupin, wild cyclamen, native poppies and some other annuals.

Fab garden and video. Please be honest and tell me how many people work in it and how often. I have a huge garden and really can’t cope with it, then I see all your beautiful gardens and think how do they do it!! Monty Don is another one!!!!
Charlie, Monty Don has said he has a team of gardeners working for him. I don't know about Adam but I agree there is so much there for one person to do on their own.

Wonderful! Thank you...what happened to the shade house you were going to put in? I saw and saved it as model for my too-sunny side of the greenhouse. Hope to see yours one of these days.
RE: Width of the perennial border. I've often wondered, is there a rule or ratio for the width of a border to the height of the wall/hedge/fence behind it? I've had the same problem: put in a border and then realize it's too (Visually) narrow. The wall behind it seems to loom over it.

If you pause at 13:09 there's a shrub at the left. It's about a meter wide and high and looks like a yellow Hydrangea mixed with an Euphorbia. What's that shrub?

I thought she did a good job, i always felt visually satisfied, like if i was there. Both The bigger picture to seeing a specific spot.
It was great considering it’s a home vlog and not a full production
