I love these little cats! They are so precious! They only grow to around 6 lbs, but can kill poisonous snakes in the desert!
Any cat can kill poisonous snakes though. I've seen a house cat doing it. It's ancient instinct I suppose. Living in a apartment their whole life won't stop the urge of hunting insects in your living room at 2am. It's amazing how they just know.

@@user-ih3fm4ng5j 👌دعني أشرح لك، هذا القط يوجد نوعين (سلالتين من قط الرمال): السلالة الأولى إسمها "مارغاريتا مارغاريتا"» موطنها الأصلي في شمال و وسط صحراء الجزائر، وجنوب الجزائر وشمال النيجر، كما تعيش في جنوب شرق الصحراء المغربية و جنوب غرب الجزائر.
أما السلالة الثانية" مارغاريتا ثينوبيا"(وتكون أكبر من الأولى في الحجم) تعيش (موطنها الأصلي) في جنوب غرب آسيا(شبه الجزيرة العربية"خصوصا دول الخليج"، وبلاد ستان: أفغانستان، تركمانستان، كازاخستان، إيران) هناك خريطة في ويكيبيديا توضح كل ما قلته أنا، وعندما ترى في الخريطة يظهر أكثر بلد توجد به هذه القطط (قط الرمال) هي الجزائر، إذا تريد الخريطة أكتب: "خريطة قط الرمال ويكيبيديا"

I don’t think sand cats really should eat fish, there might be some compounds there that they can’t handle since they have not adapted to eat aquatic life since y’a know…THEY LIVE IN SAND.
But hey it’s a zoo doing this so perhaps I’m wrong…or they could be wrong idk.
