Both platforms have their benefits and downsides. TikTok is great...but only in moderation. Being on that app for more than 10 minutes at a time degrades my braincells. Besides the obvious major issues, most of the actual funny jokes from TikTok are literally taken straight from Twitter. But hey, that's not to say UA-cam isn't just as bad in that department. There are some REALLY weird rabbitholes on this website...

From my experience, every 20 bad videos on TikTok leads to 1 good video. The consequence is that I lose braincells every minute I'm on the app...
Exactly, but UA-cam shorts is pretty much the same thing, but more like 1 good video for every 10 bad ones.

Thinking a little bit more about this... it's actually not just the content creators like that ruining the site, they reflect us, the general audience, whose majority has decided to give internet points to and raise those "trashy people" to the top, if consumers are dumb then so will br the product, so now try to go and fix that instead of just complaining... easy, right?
